Communication before arrival was excellent and very friendly. I arrived by bus well after midnight and they had waited for me to open the door. The hostel is homely and very clean. Location is 20 min walk from central bus station. I walked the distance on a Saturday night as a solo female, and it was very safe. I often travel through Plovdiv, and Ginger House is my best experience so far. I'll definitely come back! 👍

Location is great; room was well laid out; good access to kitchen
Had to call for check in when i arrived as i was unable to provide my arrival time in advance; this was a minor inconvenience

The host was very friendly and helpful. He even offered to pick me up from the Asen's fortress in the near town if i missed the last train. :)
Loud noise form the streets but other than that the overall experience was very nice
