nice looking apartment, might be excellent for youngsters, not so good for family people

it was an accidental stay in plovdiv. our car broke down so i had to brook a hotel urgently. nothing wrong with the room except few things.

- it was cold (maybe because i booked 1h before checking in) it took 24h for the AC to warm up the room - the space is huge (which is good) but there is no table and chairs (except for the coffee table next to the bed) - no dishes, no mini stove, nor microwave. maybe im not the correct guest for this type of accommodation. for someone who prefers to eat outside and come back to the room just for sleeping it may be excellent since it is in the city center.

Not a well conceptualised space, not enough attention to detail.

Location and check-in: Saffron Guest House was not marked in Google Maps, but Saffron Restaurant was. The location would still be correct because the rooms were above the restaurant. There was no manned reception at any time of day or night; instead, communication with management was by messaging (in English). An electronic code for the front door would be needed. There was no lift, but my room was only one floor up. There were plenty of shops, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. The room in Saffron was huge, three times bigger than I needed. Naturally, my concern was whether the heating (only airconditioner) would be able to cope with outside temperatures down to 3 or 4 degrees; it did, which speaks well of the place. Lighting was good, wifi was good, and there were plenty of electrical sockets. There was a fridge, kettle and sachets of coffee and tea. There was a high table with stools instead of a desk. The table was quite small and wobbly. One of the stools was on the point of breaking too. The room had a washing machine, but there were no instructions. Moreover, the washing machine did not have a dryer function (nor was there a separate dryer), and there was no drying rack in the room for wet laundry. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet. Whilst the chiffon curtain could stretch the whole width of the window, the black-out curtain could not (the curtain width was less than the window width). Therefore, total blackout for those who need it to sleep would not be possible. Such simple shortcomings should not happen. It was also noteworthy that despite the vast amount of floor space, no suitcase rack was provided. There was no breakfast option.

The bathroom was a big disappointment: Despite the enormous size of the bedroom, the bathroom was small and tight. There was no shower stall, and the bathroom would be all wet including the toilet area after a shower. Moreover, drainage was poor with slight flooding. Water pressure was good and hot/cold water came through easily. There was no washbasin in the bathroom. The washbasin was in the room itself and placed above the countertop. The result was an unusually high wash basin which would not be a problem for adults, but if one had children, it could be too high for them. Major problem: small, wet bathroom as described above. Minor issues: 1. No desk; 2. the window curtain was too small; 3. poor drainage. Minor issues are not deal-breakers, but they affect the value-for-money equation. Overall, Saffron Guest House did not compare well among the eleven hotels (all in the same price range) that I stayed in during this trip.

A very large spotlessly clean apartment in the heart of plovdiv old town. For those with mobility issues id request first floor but for us it was fine.

Местоположението е отлично, достъпа до стаята е лесен, персонала е изключително любезен и отзивчив. Стаята беше много чиста и топла, което беше важно за нас, т.к. престоя ни е през февруари. Помещението в което бяхме е голямо, просторно и има всичко необходимо за един краткосрочен престой.

Стените са изключително тънки и когато хората от съседните помещения се движат, усещането е, че са влезли при нас и се разхождат. Липсата на мивка в банята и наличието и в помещението в което се спи създава лек дискомфорт.

Ужасно шумно,имаше едро дете над нас което не спираше да тича ,не беше възможно да останем в стаята,затова излязохме и се прибрахме късно вечерта!Сутринта в 7 часа бяхме отново събудени от препускането на горният етаж,така че изобщо не ни хареса настаняването!телевизора също не работеше,нямаше wi fi!В банята е супер тясно и душа е над мивката!Общо взето пропуснете!

Locatia este amplasata intre Old Town - superbul cartier cu cladiri otomane de secol XVII-XVIII, anticul Plovdiv - Philippopolis, dar si Nebet Tepe - unde civilizatiile tracica, getica, romana, bizatina si bulgara s-au suprapus in mod practic si armonios, cu acces facil la multe alte obiective turistice. Camerele sunt spatioase si luminoase, complet utilate iar spatiul de cazare se completeaza cu restaurantul si terasa care functioneaza la parterul cladirii. Zona este foarte placuta, animata si imbietoare, cu terase si magazine diverse, care conduc discret catre principalul pietonal al orasului si legatura cu obiectivele orasului antic: teatrul, stadionul, odeonul, forumul roman, bazilicile.

Голяма и просторна стая в самия център на Пловдив-Капана. Дори вечеряхме при тях и много ни хареса обстановката и удобствата. Пак бих посетила

Единствено частта с паркинга, който е всеобщ проблем и заплатихме 50лв за 24 часа на паркинга който беше най-близко, въпреки че домакините бяха доста любезни и ни предоставиха и безплатен паркинг, но беше по-далече от мястото за съжаление.

Комфортен хотел

Много удобен хотел, на удобно място в квартал Капана. Стаята беше огромна, много просторна. Има климатик в нея, който е необходим, т.к. на последния етаж през прозорците на покрива на сградата доста напича вътре. В стаята има всичко необходимо за кратък престой. Леглото е много удобно. Беше много чисто. Лесно се влиза с код в сградата. Доволни сме от престоя си.

Няма мивка в банята, а само душ. Мивката се намира вътре в стаята. Може би не е проблем за всеки това и може би не е във всяка стая.

Foarte bun raport calitatate/pret. Locatie superbuna, curatenie buna. Totul la acest pret este exceptional. Risipa de spatiu la cazare, nici la 5 stele nu aveti camere asa mari.

Pentru cei care vin cu masina un pic greu cu parcarea. Dar te poti descurca. Noi am fost cu un un van de 7 m lungime, am intrat cam greu pe stradutele inguste, dar ne - am descurcat.

Намира се в сърцето на Капана и има доста заведения наоколо. Близо е до центъра и стария град. Удобно за бързо настаняване- получихме съобщение с инструкции за настаняване и места за паркиране наблизо.

Паркетът е много шумен при ходене и липсва изолация между стаите. Изключително неприятно е да се чува всяка стъпка , говор или телевизор от съседна стая.

Местоположението беше изключително удачно, предвид факта, че бях без автомобил за паркиране и трябваше пешеходно да стигна до и от Античния театър.

Липсата на звукоизолация в стената ктм съседната стая. Сутрин твърде рано се събудих от персонала, които почистваха явно освободената стая.

Добра локация, чиста и уютна стая.

Не ми хареса, че от ресторанта слагат маси почти пред входната врата и буквално се налагаше да размествам вечерящи, за да вляза в къщата за гости. Това създава неудобство. В стаята, в която бях, имаше лампи, които се светваха от съседната стая, и не можеш да ги загасиш цяла нощ, което не е приемливо и създава солиден дискомфорт. Също така няма мивка в банята, а е изнесена в стаята.
