The perfect cheap accommodation

The place is perfect for a short term stay. Really close to the old town and the city center. It was clean and comfortable, the is an AC and everything needed. There is a garden which everyone can use and sit outside.

Good location, within walking distance to the old town and main tourist attractions. Room with air condition.

Room is small for 4 persons, somewhat inconvenient. Shower and toilet is not separated in the bathroom at all - after taking a shower it becomes a swimming pool. You can obtain the keys at a grocery shop at the ground floor of the building - staff does not speak foreign languages, so language barrier may happen.

Great hospitality! The owners also own the little store downstairs and we always went there for coffee and sweets. The staff would always say good morning with a bright smile on their face. Rarely seen positive people.

Probably the only negative thing was the noise. Outside is like a ghetto - big companies of people gather and laugh, then listen to noisy music through their cars. If you are used to sleeping with the AC on - you shouldn't have an issue, otherwise pack up some earplugs.

Sweet and simple

Clean and simple in a great location, right next to the old town with a view out the window of the old Roman east gate ruins. The old guy the runs the shop downstairs is super friendly and helpful, even though he spoke almost no English. The courtyard of the accommodation was a lovely surprise.

The cooking facilities are minimal but I loved the vibe of the outdoor kitchen in the courtyard.

Nice little room with comfortable beds, good location and we really appreciated the opportunity to store our luggage in the shop nextdoor

Owner/staff kind and welcoming. We could leave our luggage at the shop for the whole morning and the shop opens very early (we went there before 8am and it was open). There are mosquito nets on the windows. There is parking in the neighborhood you just need to look a little bit for it. The location is just within walking distance from the old town (5-10mins).

The bathroom looks quite old and smelled of umidity and beds/pillows are not very comfortable. Opening windows improved it, but we had to close them because it was too hot and we needed the air conditioning. However, let’s consider the price is very cheap.

Good location, you get what you pay for

Excellent location, just minutes away from the historic centre. Comfortable beds and friendly owners, despite they only speak a bit of English. Generally clean and the A/C worked perfectly.

The shower is literally on the toilet, meaning that the toilet floor will end up completely wet after showering. That was a bit uncomfortable. There was also a nasty smell of humidity coming from the toilet. The room was small and didn't have any place to put out belongings.

Location is good, the host allowed us to park infront. Other parking options are available nearby and its super close to the town centre

Everything was a bit old in the room and, there were not enough towels for both of us, and no shampoo in the bathroom. But, can't complain for the price, it was really good!

Good price, good choice. Perfect location, warm welcome, clean, nice stay.

Very good location: just some steps from Old town. Warm welcome, easy to get keys. Possible to leave bags in food store before check in, and after check out as well. Clean, comfortable space. Not very close to railway station (half an hour walking) but still easily reachable on foot. Easy to find. Mmmm...very tasty coffee in the food store below guest rooms. Food store open from early morning till very late evening. Little yard to cut and enjoy our watermelone. Lovely stay. Loved it in Plovdiv. Good price, good choice.

Lovely stay except that rather loud air conditioning ventilator box on a outside wall above my bed woke me up a couple of times at night. Luckily not for long periods. As everything else was really lovely, nice and for a very good price, we were ok to forgive this little noise inconvinience at night. I would give 10 points for place but one point less for that noise issue.

bleah, because of the unfair stealing accusations

close to the old city

one of the rooms had no towels - we did not need them, so it was not a big deal for us. but after we left, like one hour later, we were accused of stealing two towels. it would be better to have someone at check out, to avoid this kind of situations. I mean, to check the rooms when we are still there, not to accuse us after we left

The location is great, just 10min walking distance to sights. Under the apartments is a small shop and 50m away is a very good restaurant. Our room had a terrace.

The shower is not separated with the toilet, so if you take a shower, every time after that you have to wipe with a towel cause everything is wet (that is quite common in Bulgaria).

Don’t waste money and time , it’s lower priced , but you won’t be able to sleep.

The location is close to the old town Plovdiv, 10 walking.

There are two electric boilers in the room itself which turn on and off and make loud noise . You can turn one of them off, but the other one cannot be turned off. There is a strong smell of urine from the toilet bowl at all times. This is an attic room, the only window is on the roof and cannot be open. We arrived late In the evening and attempted to sleep in the room, but the loud from the boiler convinced us to look for another hotel.I called the owner, he didn’t answer. We stayed 2-3 hours in this place. The owner refused to refund the money.

Dramatic visit!

We arrived very early off the Istanbul train but we were given our room at 730am, so some sleep set us up for the day. The water heater fell off the wall in an earthquake at 1525 but we were quickly given a new room. Very friendly lady running the rooms. Nice courtyard to sit outside is lovely, and our second room had a nice balcony

The only thing I was missing in my room was refrigerator. The room was a bit small, but it's not critical, although if you are traveling with someone I would recommend a bigger room.
