Great location for travelers with cars.

The location is perfect if you are driving to Plovdiv. It is on the edge of old town. The decor is charming as it’s been restored to look like a traditional Bulgarian home. The owner was great at welcoming us and giving us a quick overview of Plovdiv. Message the owner ahead of time if you need a parking spot. He will help you find one nearby. It cost an extra 15 Bulgarian lev for one day. There’s a butcher shop across the street and it was a great deal to get sausage and bread for a quick lunch.

It’s a one night stay for us. We did not find anything that was an issue.

A gem in Plovdiv

Nice small hotel in old town of Plovdiv. Room was spacious enough, comfortable, with good air conditioning (in August, it is important), quiet location. Owner was a very helpful man, with perfect English, providing detailed information on Plovdiv, from interesting points to practical things. Breakfast was excellent, with local delicious dishes. The hotel is featured by a classical wood decor (with all the modern facilities), almost a "boutique" hotel - we liked it very much. Important: if someone browse hotels in downtown-old town Plovdiv on the Booking's map, it is not obvious, that there is a steep valley between the old town and the modern (well, modern ? From the 19th-early 20th century) downtown, that cannot be passed on foot. This hotel is just on the way between the 17th-18th century old town and the present time downtown. So, it was an excellent location for us, interested in both historical Plovdiv and present day downtown - all the important places were in walking distance (in fact, we parked our car in front of the hotel, but we did not use it for the three days we spent in Plovdiv)

Room size was large. Home cooked breakfast which changed each day. Filtered water available in reception. Dimitar is an excellent host and went out of his way to assist us.

The attitude of the owner and staff was great, we felt really at home! The breakfast was wonderful and the fact that there is a parking space outside the hotel is great. The old town is very close, and in one word everything was perfect.

perfect position for finding Plovdiv.

The location was fabulous. Mine host was very helpful and his son was delightful.

We had a ‘room with a garden view’. The view was of a very small courtyard with a couple of plant pots. “Garden view’ was something of a misnomer. The towels were horrid….small and useless. I wouldn’t have given those to anybody.

Perfect place to stay

Great location, close to the Plovdiv Old town, as well as the city centre. The hotel is a renovated Renaisance Bulgarian House and the ambience was captured beautifully. Quality, cleanliness and hospitality were top notch. A friendly host who also provided us with great recommendations for places to visit. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Fantastic experience and warm welcoming

The warm welcoming of the host owner Dimitur. He went extra mile to fit with out unusual plans and was always there for any enquiry. The cosy, clean room with all facilities you can require. Great view and absolute spot on location, literally 3 min walking from old town and 10 from Plovdiv centre. The breakfast was fantastic too. The special atmosphere the house has with lots of history made our stay even more special. Will definitely recommend to anyone who is visiting Plovdiv to stay here. A great extra was the free car park, as this is rare for any hotel in Plovdiv.

Parking right in front of hotel. Friendly staff. Hot breakfast - we had delishious pancakes and cheese pie. Room has electric kettle and complimentary instant coffee and tea.

A perfect place to stay while in Plovdiv.

Everything about this place is excellent, From the moment I arrived my stay was perfect The owner Dimo and his staff treat you to the warmest of welcomes and nothing is too much for them in helping you while you stay here. The cleanliness of the rooms is of the highest standard and the breakfast is excellent. If your looking to stay in Plovdiv near the centre then this Hotel is very much top of your list.

First of all, the host was super friendly and nice - he greeted us at the door, he let us check in a lot earlier than the check in time, he told us all the places to visit on a map and good places to eat. The hotel itself is located right at the border of the old town and there is parking, which is fantastic. The rooms are super clean, very comfortable and we are just in love with the interior design - it makes you feel like you are in the centre of history itself. The shower was very convenient, the breakfast was delicious, the bed was comfortable. There isn’t a single thing we didn’t like. We are definitely coming back.
