Not recommended, even for a cheap place - look around

Fairly low price, proper air conditioning, free tv and free parking available ( with limited spaces available) but the conditions of the room were nearly terrible...

Hygiene was under no proper condition, neither the room, neither the bed/sheets, neither the towels and most certainly not the bathroom and ceilings... Wanted a double bed, got two singles just placed next to another.. The front desk receptionist was passively aggressive and was disturbingly awkward while check-in

Never be there again!

Nothing. There is not a single aspect to interest.

Bathroom is very dirty. Water goes nowhere. The location of the hotel is in the remote corner of the city. The roads are very bad. The registration desk clerk does not speak English. Door handle was broken. Credit card is not valid. BGN 55.85 per night but they charged me €30. Absolutely, the payment must be made in lev. I do not recommend the hotel. Do not go with your family.

A good hotel for a weekend vacation...

Relatively quiet location (at night), close to the bus station, comfortable beds, good shower...

Very modest breakfast, bad road to hotel, no POS machine (cash only)....

Bad place - very disappointing -stay away!

The room was dull & stinky. The shower was broken. Unlike advertised, there was no breakfast!!! Located distantly in an industrial zone. No receptionist or someone to talk with (the cleaner dealt with us, didn't speak English, didn't give a receipt). Mosquitos coming out of the Central air conditioning vents.

Remarkable Service

We checked in at night, later than we anticipated, and we were greeted with a smile. The host was lovely to chat with and he even helped us pick a restaurant to go to (Saturday is live music night for the restaurants nearby, so you might want to book a reservation in advance). Entry to the room is regulated with a card. The room was spacious and clean. The beds were very comfortable, more than any other hotel I have been to. I strongly recommend Hotel Iris to anyone looking for a place to stay in Plovdiv.
