Highly recommended

A small but lovely room for an overnight stopover. Had everything we needed. The girl on reception was brilliant. Excellent value. A short walk to the wonderful Frog & Fiddle to watch Arsenal win, then a superb meal in the Greek restaurant around the corner. Even had free fruit and cookies at the check in desk

Great location for Montpellier district, lovely large comfy bed in large room and great breakfasts.

Continental breakfast selection was very good. Lots of cereals, yoghurt, fruit and pastries. Coffee machine excellent. Superb choice of teas. I didn’t have one but The cooked breakfasts that I saw coming out from the kitchen looked delicious. Room was nice and big with very comfy bed, good shower, decent Smart TV and coffee/tea making facilities (really important!) Very welcoming and chatty reception staff too

Lots of stairs so a lift in the building would be good, but i appreciate very difficult and costly

Wonderful, we can’t wait to stay again!

Lovely decor, great location, very friendly and helpful staff. We didn’t make use of it but there was a fantastic, very well-stocked pantry cupboard to buy drinks and snacks from. Free parking available.

The room was very clean and the decor was stylish. The hotel has a very good location, within walking distance to the city center. The parking at the hotel was very convenient too.

The room felt a bit too small - a large luggage could barely fit when opened. Furthermore, there is no lift, meaning you will need to carry luggages up the stairs.

Comfy hotel in a great location. Nicely decorated and staff are very nice. Bed is very comfortable and shower is good.

Beautiful hotel, centrally located, homey feel.

Loved the charm of the townhouse hotel. Cute moody decor had a lovely English countryside charm to it too, creating a homey feel. My in-laws brought their dog and the dog treats, bed etc provided where such a lovely extra touch!

Sadly the door of our room had a draft (it is a v cold Dec though) so something to block the bottom of the door would have been incredible but think this was a unique situation with the cold windy weather.

Great place to stay if you want to take your dog with you

The staff were excellent- very helpful and more importantly friendly and engaged We took our little dog and they hotel was extremely dog friendly- she was made to feel so welcome. She had a great bed doggy treats and there was even a doggie station in the breakfast room Location was great for everything It was an ideal hotel for what we wanted with our dog and a reasonable price

Room a little small and stairs a bit steep especially for our small dog! And that is not really a complaint as we were only there tow nights and it ticked all our boxes

We were able to park onsite , continental breakfast was great , location was excellent- room was lovely and cosy and the decor very tasteful. Staff were very friendly and helpful

There was no secondary glazing so the window was very drafty and you could hear road noise -Also a voile curtain would be good for privacy- we couldn’t turn heating on in the morning even though we turned the thermostat up ? this worked on the evening ?

Room full of dust

Location

Dusty surfaces throughout, air-conditioning unit couldn't be used as full of dust, obviously hadn't been cleaned for months. Room location was dark and off staircase, with a drop into the room where my partner fell on initial entry. Shower had to be cut short as the bathroom flooded, we had to use all the towels to stop the water from reaching the room. We were really disappointed as the website made the hotel look much better than what we received.

Lovely boutique hotel with great breakfast and nice staff

Beautifully decorated hotel with friendly staff and wonderful breakfast

It’s an older property so there is no lift which made carrying suitcases on my own difficult. You can hear the water from people taking showers in other rooms but it didn’t bother me that much. The hotel is about a 20 min walk from the station

Perfect for Cheltenham Races

Great stay for Cheltenham Races, Hotel provided early check in which made our stay even easier. Room was gorgeous and everything we needed was there. Beds were extremely comfortable & rooms were super quiet. Free parking was great too

Great location and good value

The hotel is in an excellent location. Loved the decor and the shower was amazing. There is laundromat within walking distance.

There is no common area to congregate. We stayed in room 8, which I would strongly advice against. It is right next to lobby and the stairs that go to the upper floor. There were people coming and going all night long.

The decor was nice but everything else pretty poor.

The shower was excellent and the location good.

There was no parking, no bar or lounge, the bed was very uncomfortable and the noise during the night from the door and other guests was very loud. The toilet seat was broken. When I questioned a room by the front door as a woman travelling alone and requested a room change I was greeted with derision.

Very well decorated and the central location is incredible for the price. The young lady on reception was so helpful and welcoming.

The parking was a little confusing, we thought it was at the front (as the sat nav sent us) it was so narrow, lots of potential for accidents with the parked cars.
