It definitely has a certain refined air which is lovely. Welcoming staff who quickly changed our room when the aircon was discovered to be faulty.
Excellent location. Car parking seemed expensive at £17 but it was on par with the car parks.
Breakfast was excellent.

Couple of very comfortable nights at superbly located hotel, very clean, great room with king size bed, lots of character, very grand! No complaints, convenient car parking too, would recommend!

excellent hotel. everything you could wish for, location, staff, cleanliness, food, service and comfortable rooms. lovely garden which was made even more special with the addition of the singer!

The staff were wonderful and very helpful, and the service was great throughout our visit. The location is also excellent and very convenient.
However, I would like to mention an issue with the bed and pillows. The bed was very itchy and uncomfortable, and we could barely sleep. I had to ask the staff to change the pillows because the ones in the room were old, had fabric pilling, and triggered my allergies. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and overall condition of the bed and pillows made it difficult for us to rest properly.
