Good for what we needed

Central location right opposite the Brewery Quarter

Beds seem smaller than other similar priced hotels and the eggs at breakfast were disappointing (powdered probably or at least very dry)

When I booked it said it had parking but it was ncp carpark that you had to pay for.

Customer service at reception and the server that assisted me for my kids needs was amazing

Staff were very helpful receptionist / server were excellent and were very good at listening to my needs

I feel for the size of the room the cost should be a little lesser like a £80 as car park is also not covered was discounted 25% but that isnt great for a night stay

The breakfast was the best we have had in a holiday inn everything was cooked well and very hot also great choice. All staff were very friendly

Superb location and value for money

Great location and good value. Bed comfy, room clean, parking very close at NCP with discount. Very good breakfast with cooked items topped up all the time. Very good choice with cereals, yoghurt, fruit compote, croissants, toast, mini muffins, pancake maker, bacon, sausage, beans and tomatoes. Fruit juice and got drinks.

Brilliant

Can't say anything negative about this hotel, great location, clean, comfortable, and the breakfast was awesome, you get the use of a gym and swimming pool, 5 mins walk from hotel, the pool table in bar area is free to use and it only cost £67 for the night, would definitely recommend,

Would choose a different room.

Very friendly staff.

We were in a disabled room on the front of the hotel. The room was good apart from 1. the green light in the room that was on all night. It was very bright hence we struggled to sleep. 2 the noise from outside.

Worth the money and comfortable

Breakfast was high quality and varied. The lifts were quick to arrive and the room was easy to find. The room was clean and it was helpful to have the cot up prepared for our arrival. It was easy to validate parking too. I liked the pillow selection option but it wasn't something we could access.

At breakfast my son wanted to play pool (9:30am), he is very young and asked the receptionist himself if he could have the balls and she said not until after 10:30. He was of course disappointed and we weren't sure if the rationale as breakfast wouldn't have been impacted by the game. Our toilet cistern also made lots of noise for a few minutes after flushing

Perfect location

Very good location, 5 min by foot till city center. There is brewery restaurant in front of the hotel and IMAX cinema. Room itself is clean and warm, with regular service, good breakfast.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The service was excellent from start to finish, and we shared a truly special family moment during our time at the hotel. My children even said these were the best days ever, which says it all. We really enjoyed spending time together playing pool, relaxing in the swimming pool, and the breakfast was simply spectacular — fresh, varied, and delicious. Everything was perfect, exceeding our expectations in every way.

Breakfast was included good choice - I chose the continental and my husband chose the cooked, good selection of coffee and tea. Staff were very helpful and friendly

The hotel was modern and clean and the bar area is pleasant. Having a pool table and cosy effect fire was a bonus and was a good place to meet friends and stay for a drink before going out for dinner. The breakfast area and breakfast itself was very good and we received a discount on the NCP car park.

The reception area is too close to the main entrance. When checking in, the weather was windy and rainy and the door kept opening and closing. There is no onsite car park. The NCP car park is a short walk away but I would always prefer to park within the hotel’s property.

An excellent stay and the accommodation represented very good value for money.

On arrival the reception area was well laid out and the staff extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy and fairly spacious with everything required for a few days stay. Breakfast was excellent and included within the stay price. The reception staff were also very helpful during our stay, kindly organising taxis and explaining where various places were.

The room we stayed in could have done with an additional ceiling light as quite dark in the evening.

The hotel is situated in an ideal spot for a visit to this lovely town.. The breakfast was excellent.

The room was very tired looking and definitely needed decorating. However, the room was very clean , the shower was very good and lovely white towels.

Good, clean hotel, basic but very nice.

Great central location to town centre. Clean, comfortable room and great breakfast.

Needed a cafe or restaurant as no option of food but pizza to your room. Also, no coke or lemonade at the bar, as there was a problem with the tap, which is a bit ridiculous as it such a popular product. Someone could have just bought some from the town until the tap problem was sorted. We went elsewhere for drinks .

Advertised a swimming pool but didn’t say families can only use it between 2 and 5 pm until we got to hotel also signage saying please ask a member off staff to convert pool table into table tennis table in bar area and when we asked for this the staff just said no and carried on with what he was doing even tho we were the only people in the bar

Location of hotel a little out of the way if you are attending events at Monpelier - which we were. A little too far to walk and staff ignorant of bus routes. By the end of stay had worked out bus routes for ourselves
