Neither fish nor fowl, but worth a hearing

These are (or mine at least was) pretty slick! I had a spacious living room, a separate bedroom, and a nice bathroom. The living room included some kitchen units with crockery and cutlery, and a microwave and sink. It was comfortable, quiet, and self contained.

The email they send you is not just random chatter. You do need the information in order to get into the rooms. Reception is not 24-hour, and indeed I couldn't tell you which hours they're meant to be there. The place doesn't have the public spaces of an hotel. There isn't a bar or a restaurant or anything like that. It's not quite serviced apartments and it's not quite an hotel. It's still worth a visit though.

Elegance in the middle of town

The location was fab ...right in the centre. Loved the idea of not having keys to get in or out just a code. The room had everything you could possibly need even a bottle of milk on arrival. The bed was very cosy. The place was clean and nicely designed.

The only down side was we had the lantern style roof with the electric blind. I imagine in the summer it would be great but November too cold to have it open and it was leaking but think it was condensation.

Great central location, clean and info for access etc very helpful

Unfortunately the weather was extreme- we reported a leak in the sky light early on Friday morning which we were told would be sorted immediately. When we got back from the races nothing had been done and an awfully of rainwater had come in..

Beautiful and comfortable apartment right near the centre of town

Very well equipped and decorated apartment close to town. Little to no noise and the check-in process was very smooth. Nice to have a full pint of milk in the fridge on arrival and Nespresso capsules!

In our apartment (Siena), there is more limited direct day light, although this wasn't a problem. On arrival the bins had not been emptied from previous guests.

An excellent spacious apartment in the centre of town

A very spacious apartment in a good location in the centre of Cheltenham. Labelled ‘Napoli’, my accommodation was on the first floor and was reasonably quiet and very comfortable. The main living area included a small table for dining, a sofa for relaxing and watching TV and a kitchen area equipped with fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee maker. There was no dishwasher or hob but I did not find this a problem. More importantly there were some breakfast supplies - a pint bottle of milk, individual boxes of cereal and porridge, and a couple of cereal bars. A very small outside seating area (without a view) would have been good to try if the weather had been better. There was also a reasonably large bathroom. I liked the use of a keypad and access code rather than a keycard to provide access to the building and the apartment. It is located in the centre of Cheltenham close to shops, restaurants, bars and local bus stops. Although staff were not generally visible, they were very friendly and helpful when needed, providing assistance when I wanted to leave a bag for an hour or two after checking out.

Location

The hotel facilities are so old and many of them are broken, even the shower gel bottle is broken. The air conditioner made a noise all night long. The cleaning is not very good. It is the worst four-star hotel I have ever stayed in. The hotel management is poor. After booking, we learned that the hotel did not have an elevator. We contacted the hotel almost two months in advance, hoping to arrange a room on a lower floor. The hotel replied that they would try their best to arrange it, but when we checked in, we found that our room was on the highest floor. Check-in was also inconvenient. We had to download an app to check in, which was very troublesome.

Stairs hard as on second floor with 20Kg suitcase. Communication poor, were told someone onsite so we could collect our bags. no one there and no one answered phone. Big chest very nice but meant no room to lay out suitcase. No window only sky light.

Very clean and tidy, comfortable bed, easy to find and great communication. Very central for all bars and restaurants.

Was a bit noisy in the mornings, could hear stomping around from upstairs at times, wouldn’t put us off staying again.

Perfect stay in the heart of Cheltenham.

A very comfortable place to stay in the heart of Cheltenham. Barrier controlled car parking very close by which was helpful. The staff were excellent,very ,friendly,smart and helpful,a credit to their company. Room was modern, very clean and comfortable along with the bed. Decent air conditioning, television and fridge,microwave,coffee machine etc. Good sized bathroom with nice powerful shower. Room was serviced whenever needed. Perfect place to stay for a few days or weeks.

Strozzi Palace Exceptional.

Amazing apartment. I stayed in the Siena Suite. Exceptional. Clean, comfortable, close to bus station. Very easy walk to town centre and shops. Train just 8 / 10 minute drive. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. There are a few stairs, so if you have heavy luggage, be aware of that.However, staff are accommodating with this ,if available . I highly recommend this place. Safe and secure.

Excellent and would definitely stay again when visiting Cheltenham.

Location was great, Roy on reception was super helpful and accommodating. We arrived earlier than check-in time (we had notified in advance) but there were no guarantees of an early check-in but we were given the key code and were able to enjoy our holiday straight away.

Only one small point there was some outside noise from street cleaners, general traffic early in the morning that could be heard from the room, being a light sleeper. Not sure what could be done about this other than extra double glazing.

Exceptional

Everything the manager Roy was a great wealth of info about the area , the decor was so elegant sophisticated and yet understated and soso clean I couldn't recommend this complex anymore and look forward to our return trip in the summer . And as a side note it is only 5 minute walk from the centre with plenty of different nationality restaurants from fillipino to Thai within 2 minutes walk . My fiancee would like to add that this was a perfect place to stay .
