Adequate spacious central apartment

Location and space in the property.

Access to 4th floor via stairs or old slow lift The property whilst clean was rather tired internally. Bathrooms and kitchen are in need of a refurbishment.

Great location, poor conditions of the property

Location

Overall poorly maintained property. Broken window in one of the bedrooms. Very uncomfortable mattress. One of the bed bases was broken. Uneven heating: some rooms were boiling hot, while others were freezing cold. Heating was centralized and could not be adjusted. Building elevator only allowed one person and one luggage at the time, making it very slow to go up and down to the 4th floor.

The location was superb.

We should have read the reviews. You should read the reviews. The photographs make the place look amazing. The photographer was very skilful. The whole place is tired and shabby. We were very disappointed. I have added photos from the end of our stay. The whole place lacked for attention. A couple of hours with some skilled handymen and the place could be amazing. Whoever does the cleaning seems unable to reach above their heads. Cobwebs abound and the chandelier needs a good dust. Many cupboard doors were loose. Handles were loose. Doors would not open. Parts of the parquet floor are loose or missing. Tables were missing legs. Toilet lids and seats were loose. There were none of the furnishings from the photos. There were no toiletries. The shower was terrible, but after a blunt message to the management it was fixed. One of the toilets ran the whole time, despite promises that it would be fixed. The top listed feature was a hot tub. There is no hot tub. The A/C is not functioning. The excuse given is not plausible as a look out of the back windows shows it working in the rest of the building. Due to the lack of A/C, the windows needed to be open. This property is in the middle of town. Town in noisy and bright, so expect this, as we did. However, the need for the windows to be open in the front exacerbated this noise, possibly too much for some. The front windows all had Venetian blinds. Most could be lowered, none tilted and all were filthy. The windows being open at the back meant all you could hear was the roar from the working A/C for everyone else. The beds seemed comfortable. It was so warm we only needed the sheets on the bed, however the undersheets did not fit properly, so were always loose. The spare bedding in the cupboards did not look pleasant. We had no issues with the neighbours. The limitations of the lift are a little tedious, but were not a surprise. This place should be removed from the listing until it is put right.

Whilst the property had air conditioning installed this was not working and with the city experiencing very hot weather this meant the apartment wasn’t as comfortable as we expected it to be. Having to sleep with the windows open meant that we could hear late night street noise and then were awake early with the sun rise Although there were two bathrooms only one had a cubicle shower, the water flow wasn’t great, probably the jets need to be cleaned out The appearance of the apartment isn’t set up the same as the photos so on arrival it didn’t have the wow factor that the photos suggest

The Wi-Fi signal in the apartment was disappointingly weak. As a traveler who relies on a stable internet connection for work and staying connected with loved ones, I found it frustrating at times. The TV in the apartment was not functioning properly. It was a minor inconvenience, but it would have been nice to unwind and catch up on some local news or enjoy a movie after a day of exploring the city.

I think we could have been warned that the noise level from the street is terrific, making it very difficult to sleep. Music, people shouting, traffic noises until the very early hours. When we arrived the cleaner had not been informed of our arrival so had to come while we were there to finish changing the beds. The TV did not work so I had to wait in for the repair man to come and he couldn't fix it. In fairness we did get a small refund because of these problems.

Excellent location with respect to tourist sights but location on a major road created unbearable noise throughout the night. Very large apartment but meagerly furnished.

Noise situation was impossible. The apartment sits on a major road with buses, mopeds, and shouting people throughout the night. At 4 am it finally got quiet and then came the garbage trucks. Only one of the 4 bedrooms is quiet with courtyard location. The windows do not seal well and are not double paned.

Great location but tired furnishings.

The location was fabulous, right in the middle of Bologna with easy access to all the top visitor destinations. Lots of space including a comfy sitting area. Lovely big windows with views over the city. Fans in all bedrooms kept us cool. Relatively quiet considering we were in the middle of a city.

The shiny photos of the apartment did a great job of making it look nicer than it is. The kitchen cupboards were falling apart, dishwasher tricky to use, no sign of some amenities listed (Eg coffee maker). It also wasn't the cleanest apartment. Dirty old sponge on the floor, filthy mattress (I'm glad I didn't spot this until the day we left) Definitely needs mattress protector.

Checks all the big boxes

We are six students who rented this apartment for our Erasmus stay. When I look for an apartment, the main things are price, space, and location. This place excels in all three and you'll probably have a hard time finding anything better in those categories, for the same price. The place is huge: a REALLY big living room, two twin rooms with fair space, one main room and a second small living room / fourth bedroom with a sofa bed. We were 6 living together and we managed great with the space and two bathrooms. The location is literally the best you can get, it doesn't get any more central than this. Every edge of the city is 20 minutes walk away and you can see the two towers from the windows. The apartment had a few issues during our stay (for example the sink didn't work at some point, and there were few glasses), but the real estate agent had really good predisposition to help us.

The fridge and the washing machine could use an update, but they are usable anyway. The only reason this place is not getting a 10 is the neighbours from upstairs, they are irrational. They accused us of doing too much noise and leaving trash in the common places (which we didn't, none of the two). They went so far as to calling the police on us, and when the police came we were literally playing a BOARD GAME (oh, and it was 11pm ON A FRIDAY). Luckily the real estate agent always supported us in all these accusations. Another minor drawback is that it doesn't have an outdoor area like a balcony, but we could do without it.

La posizione centralissima e la casa veramente grande e confortevole. Abbiamo trascorso un fine settimana in famiglia, eravamo in 10 tra adulti e bambini e ci siamo stati tutti comodamente. Abbiamo girato sempre a piedi ma la posizione super comoda ci permetteva di tornare a casa in caso di emergenza bimbi.
