Z8 Apartments

The apartment has a great location and Silvia and Jacopo are great hosts - very responsive, available and flexible to our requests. The apartment is very clean and well maintained. We had a great time staying there :) Highly recommended!

A good value for the money. Clean, good position, elevator on site, the apartment has everything you need. For me would’ve been a plus to have an espresso machine, still there is coffee to prepare yourself. We had a very comfortable stay.

We liked the ability to walk into town and access to stores and restaurants.

1). Wifi - was horrible - I"m an IT expert and I tested throughput and it failed every 10 seconds. I had to use my personal hotspot for the entire stay. 2). Shower - Tiny little plastic/fiberglass shower put in the bathroom with no shampoo - just a soap dispenser. The shower was so small that there was nowhere to put shampoo, razor, etc.. I think the owners should visit a hotel and see how they do it and match it. 3). Flexibility - The first day i found i had to return home early and asked the owners if they could adjust us/refund us for 1 day from our 7 day stay. They said they could not. I asked Booking to check - Booking said they could if they wanted, so they contacted the owners - but they refused. I get it, they wanted profit, but it was the first day and they could have rented the unit out to someone else with our 1 week request. 4). Owners - texted too much to ask questions, make comments and even mentioned their high rating and encouraged me to rate them high. When i'm working and traveling I appreciate the steps to get in and who to contact in an emergency - but that's it. Owners reminded us to checkout before the 10am deadline, asked if we were checking out early, asked to help them so they could schedule cleaning. Too much and started creating work for me to respond. 5). Trash - situation is that you have to use an electronic card to open the bin outside on the street. Honestly, i'm not paying money to clean the room and take out the trash. I'm there for relaxing and work. 6). The weather was hot so we had to keep the kitchen and bathroom doors shut or else the temperatures rose to the 80s inside. This is a tip to others. 7). Two last important items. The unit is in the no car zone and you will receive an expensive fine by camera if you travel across the street to drop your bags off. Don't take an Uber there and don't drive near there. Second, there will be a city tax charge that you will need to pay.
