Perfect Stay — Spotless, Comfortable & Thoughtfully Managed

The apartment was absolutely spotless — genuinely immaculate — and very comfortable, especially the bed. There was a great amount of space, and the layout felt both functional and relaxing. The kitchen was well equipped with plenty of supplies. We especially appreciated having enough coffee capsules for our entire stay (such a rare and thoughtful touch), along with generous dishwasher and washing machine pods. Everything felt well planned and convenient. The keyless entry was also fantastic — simple, secure, and very easy. The staff were lovely, polite, and incredibly responsive. Every question was answered promptly, and communication was seamless.

There was honestly nothing we didn’t like. We would absolutely stay here again.

Super cosy, comfortable property ideal for historic centre

The apartment was cosy, comfortable and warm and perfect for a couple. The decor was attractive and the bed extremely comfortable. Also, the shower was wonderful!

The bar in the street behind- extremely noisy at weekends but not of course the fault of the property.

Beautiful and very central flat, great for exploring the city

I spent three nights in this apartment with my daughter to explore Bologna, and we really enjoyed our stay. The location is very central, so all the sights are easily within walking distance. Very quiet despite its central location. The apartment itself has everything you need for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable, and the shower was excellent. Check-in was simple and hassle-free. Very good communication with the host. We would definitely stay here again!

We couldn’t find a dishcloth or scissors, so perhaps the kitchen could use a few more utensils. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!

Best introduction to Bologna

Everything is just perfect, the location couldn’t get any better, the best way to get to know Bologna. Everything is new and clean, the bed was super comfortable. The staff is so nice and helpful, really enjoyed the city recommendations in addition to the luggage storage that saved my day! Also came with my small dog and they provided for him a bed and plates for food and water 🥹

Great location, facilities and staff

Excellent communication and staff. Comfy bed, hot shower and great facilities - kettle, coffee machine, iron, washing machine, fridge, microwave etc and lovely little touches like some treats waiting for us. We did not use the cooking facilities as we ate out. Good entry system with a code which meant we didn’t have to worry about keys. We were able to store our luggage in the office next door on our last day. It took us about 10 minutes to walk from the train station and was a very straightforward walk and excellent location. This was our second visit to Bologna and we will stay here again on our third!

Gorgeous place in an equally gorgeous city.

Gorgeous apartment in a beautiful building. Very tranquil space, despite its closeness to the centre of Bologna. This is my third time to stay here. L’8 and the fabulous city of Bologna never disappoint.

Lodging here was comfortable and we'd stay here again!

The location provided easy walking to most destinations. The building felt secure - exterior coded entry, interior gated coded entry, and apartment door coded entry. This was also convenient when my husband and I did different things during the day - we didn't have to negotiate handing off keys. The bed was comfortable and plenty of Nespresso pods were provided as well as laundry detergent (I was surprised to find a washer in this unit) and a dishwasher. The apartment has forced radiator heating, but this could easily be adjusted via the knob at each unit. Wifi was wonderful and they even had extra linens and pillows if needed.

This particular apartment (the pink one) required 3 flights of stairs to reach the apartment door, but this really wasn't an inconvenience. The street noise wasn't the worst, but it was challenging in the evening when trying to fall asleep. I purchased earplugs and those helped a great deal.

Good location near market and many good restaurants

The property has good security with a code required to enter the front door then same code to enter a second gate then code to enter the room. The shower had good water pressure, a fridge, coffee machine and kettle are supplied along with crockery and cutlery.

No lift so had to carry suitcases up several flights of stairs. The street noise some nights went on until the early hours of of the morning. Earplugs were necessary to get to sleep. We needed additional towels for the length of our stay which were an extra cost.

Small point, but the toilet seat was loose. It would have been great to have had a balcony or sitting area to relax in when your back in the place, otherwise it feels a bit too much like a hotel room. Everything else was great.

A lovely stay in Bologna

Great location - walking distance from the train station, main sights and two amazing restaurants close by (Il Passarello and Va Mo Là). Tastefully decorated room.

The mattress was more firm than I prefer. A few more hangers would be helpful. The bathroom door did not shut properly. The shower is small. All minor issues, though. I would definitely stay here again.

A very nice comfortable flat ideally located

Ideally located just on the hedge of the ZTL with a parking nearby. The flat is quiet, well furnished, and comfortable. The bedroom is decorated tastefully and the bed large & comfortable. A very good solution of you want to visit the centre of Bologna.

We liked Bologna and the apartment met our needs.

It was a very central location which meant there were many restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance. It also meant that many of the attractions were close by.

It was slightly unnerving as we had to open three doors to get to the apartment. There were dishes left in the dishwasher - which was surprising.

They fixed the AC so it only works when it’s more than 25C indoors, which means the room can become very warm. If you open the windows, beware of mosquitoes. While the decor is interesting, the space is not very user friendly—lack of space to store personal items. There is no elevator, only a narrow staircase.

Great place to stay

This place is great. The apartment was super functional, quiet and just a nice place to be. It is about 15 minutes from the train station. And pretty much in the old town area. We walked to all the sights, including San Lucas. The beds were comfy, the aircon worked, the kitchen and the washing machine functioned well, and the door code was great for access. They gave you 4 washing machine tablets, very helpful. There is a grocery store about 5 min walk, a park, which we ran in, about 5 mins away. Great place to stay

We loved this place. There is no elevator, not an issue for us, but for others this may be a problem. Just an FYI.

What a gem! Grazie!

I almost don’t want to write this review because I’d love to keep this little gem of a place in Bologna a secret—but that just wouldn’t be fair. The location is absolutely perfect: Piazza Maggiore and the Two Towers are just minutes away on foot, and the main shopping streets—Via Oberdan and Via Indipendenza—are right around the corner. Francesca was incredibly helpful and kind. We were exhausted when we arrived, and she let us check in early without hesitation. The room itself was spotless and beautifully furnished, with a very comfortable bed, a modern bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen—dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, all the utensils you could need. And the cleanest Nespresso machine I’ve ever seen. As a welcome, we found a lovely gift bag in the room, and later received a bottle of sparkling wine as a kind gesture when they needed us to turn on the air conditioning for a while (honestly, a great deal). There were also books and picture books about Bologna in the room, along with a thoughtful list of restaurant and sightseeing recommendations. On our last day, they stored our luggage until 6 p.m. and even called a taxi for us. Everything was smooth, warm, and welcoming from start to finish. Francesca, Sofia, and Federica are all so kind and professional. Truly, I can’t think of a single negative thing to say about our stay. We will be back.

Our stay in Bologna was truly delightful. The location of the accommodation was absolutely perfect - right in the heart of the city, making it easy to explore all the main attractions on foot. The room was spotlessly clean, tastefully decorated, and incredibly comfortable, providing a relaxing retreat after a day of sightseeing. A special thanks to Sofia and Francesca, who were exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Their local tips and warm hospitality made our experience even more enjoyable. Super cosy authentic apartment in a great central and safe neighborhood close to all the main sights and the station

Great location very convenient for visiting all the sights of Bologna, close to the station too. Fabulous little ristorante opposite amazing pasta. Our Host Francesca was delightful very helpful making restaurant reservations for us and giving recommendations on what to do locally. We took the train to Modena and Ravenna for day trips very easy and very much worth the visits.

It was a cosy apartment quite small but fine for the 5 days we stayed we didn’t realise it was on the 4th floor with no lift this was not a problem for us.
