Convenient stay for 3 nights.

Very good location right in the central part of the city.

There were more than 3 flight of stairs and no lift to the apartment. Bathroom was quite small.

Amazing location and easy check in

Pros: great location (walkable to all of Bologna’s major buildings and attractions), friendly service, easy check in, clean facilities. Cafe down below had awesome coffee as well.

Cons: our specific suite had a very low ceiling, not great for anyone tall as you have to duck. It is right above a pub so the sofa bed had a lot of noise, but manageable with earplugs. The drain of the shower did not work very well so had to take breaks when showering to let the water drain and not spill over.

I would recommend this apartment for any couple who require a place to stay in Bologna.

Location was excellent. Guido was very responsive to our questions. His instructions to get into apartment were clear and easy to do.

Great staff, helpful and kind and this is great location!

It was clean, all staff was nice and helpful, kind enough to store our bags until the time we had to wait for our train to leave. and they also give us recommendations for the area and were always available for communication

We asked for an extra bed and it was more of a sleeping cot than a bed. so a bit uncomfortable for an adult to rest

You can’t beat the location. It’s so close to everything you will need and tourist attractions.

It may be difficult for those with disabilities to get up and down the many staircases as there is no lift in the building.

Idyllic base to explore Bologna

We rented the small apartment in the eves. Very well positioned to explore the city. Next door to an Irish bar but wasn't disturbed by the noise. Plenty of options for food and drinks nearby. Be aware that there are 70 stairs up to the apartment and no lift but was aware of this. Loved being able to do self check-in as we arrived at 2am. Would use again if we return

Could have done with a tea towel and kitchen roll. Advertised as having a washing machine but it didn't. None of this was a massive inconvenience and we have a fab stay

Fantastic stay, in the heart of Bologna with a brilliant host.

The host was so helpful, was in constant contact with instructions and recommendations and also helped us sort a really early morning taxi back to the airport. The apartment was light, bright and airy with comfy beds and a good shower. The location is excellent and easy to find. Thank you.

Room switched on arrival date - very unsatisfactory

Location could not be better. Right in the centre of the city on a pleasant side street without too much noise. Decent bathroom with plenty of hot water in shower. View of the Cathedral and an adjacent tower out of a tiny window and skylight. Very easy access on arrival and simple departure procedure.

Our main issue was that we were switched from our booked room on the day of arrival to a far less suitable room. We had paid for a studio with 1 large double bed plus a single bed in a room that was light and airy as per the photos on booking.com. What we got was an attic room with very limited headroom (I am 6'), one tiny high up window, one skylight above the bed and 2 single beds pushed together in an alcove with no space either side to actually get in the bed. In addition there were no bed side tables or power points next to bed and if you leaned against the "headboard" the bed moved away in the opposite direction! I will give the owner some credit for offering a solution for us by changing room halfway through our stay however this wasn't really an option as we had plans for every day and would have meant us packing up/un packing instead of getting on with our holiday. I understand that from time to time problems can occur with rooms which require offering alternative arrangements, however whenever this has happened to me in the past I have received some kind of compensation (not always monetary) plus a sympathetic response. The owner was very matter of fact about the whole thing with a very much, take it or leave it attitude which left a bad taste. This was not a cheap budget property and when I book through a reputable company I expect certain standards which were not met in this instance.

The front door opened into something that looked like a store room with ladders, dirty laundry a shared washing machine and a housekeeping cupboard.

Weak air conditioning and there is a a need to update a few things like cups and wine glasses. Be aware that the accommodation is5 flights (81 steps) up, which was fine for us but others may struggle.

A good place to spend a few days in Bologna

This apartment is conveniently located just a few steps away from Piazza Maggiore and the two towers. The room is spacious and features a comfortable bed. The air conditioning works exceptionally well. There's even a mini-dressing room where you can store your clothes. Additionally, the WiFi connection is reliable and fast. It's worth noting that the apartment is on the top floor, so be prepared to climb several flights of stairs to reach it.

The cleaning could have been more thorough as there was some dust on the floor. Additionally, some of the furniture could use an update. While not overly bothersome, it would greatly enhance the overall appearance of the space.

Stay away 97 stairs to get to the unit. Hot unit. Uncomfortable beds

The communication with the host to get access to the property and the location was good. But that’s it. The rest is very poor

Firstly as a family we travel quite extensively so the property described is not at all what it says. 1. The steps are 97 to get to your room. With luggage you have to be kidding to lug luggage up those flights of stairs. No mention of how many stairs were specified. No lift 2. The wifi was very low connection we struggled to get connected. 3. Air con there is no way you felt it. It was on a timer and u had to continually put it on and it was in the kitchen and the rooms were stinking hot. We paid $600 euro for three nights and it was a totally rip off. I stay in Bologna every year and I would def not return. I think the other reviews were not genuine as i am writing a honest and thorougher review so u won’t be disappointed as we were. 4. The furniture was poor there was a lounge that was ripped poor quality.

fantastic location 1 minute walk from Piazza Maggiore. lots of restaurants, shops and historical sites on our doorstep. good bedding. clean bathroom. good facilities.

The walls in bedrooms are scratched and have dirty marks because there isn’t much room to walk around the bed. No iron in the room but one arrived upon request. no cover/padding on the ironing board so you have to use your towel. one of the apartments didn’t have hot water for a day and half due to issues with the boiler, which was difficult to get fixed over the weekend but the owner tried his best to fix as soon as he could and communicated well with us.

Good location in the city

Great location near the Piazza Maggiore and the center of town. From the skylights you can see two of the city’s tours above you.

The apartment is located atop a rather lively Irish Pub, so it can get a little noisy in the evenings. As there are several units to choose from, it was not apparent which room we were getting from the website. Our room was rather small and had very low ceilings in some areas.

The location was in the heart of the city.

Apartment B2 had very low ceilings, the shower was also tiny with low ceilings and had mould in it. The apartment is only accessible by stairs and is located on the 3rd floor.

Inaccurate descriptions - 1 bedroom apartment is all in pne space, no doors. - 2nd floor has 80 stairs, more like 4th floor, no elevator - "king" beds are infact 2xSingle and very cheap uncomfortable matress - photos are not up to date and in some cases missing to hide faults and inaccuracy of room description. Maintenance & service - old small bathroom - Wifi is on but internet is down. Owner promised to fix but did nothing. - broken bedside lamp was not fixed Central, but Very noisy during the night dishonesty - owner tried to cheat us with the city tax and charge for 10 person, which was max capacity instead of 6 which was actual number of guests.
