Location was good, owner was friendly and helped us.
there was no elevator and we had to walk 5 floors to get the apartment. Maybe it was written already and I missed it but it was hard to get there.

Excellent location in an historic building in the heart of the old town. Many restaurants, bars etc all around- really this is right in the middle of it!
There is a registration process involving sending passport images and paying the city tax (23.2 Euros for 2 of us for 2 nights); I think this is organised by a third party company- this was tedious but workable. Seems like a way of passing on the administrative work to the visitor via some admin company- tedious: I am on holiday, and don’t want to be bothered with this sort of stuff.
The photos on the posting are very clever- they do not make the viewer realize just how limited space is in this apartment- For the bedroom area there is full headroom above the bed (only), and then only if you push the bed against the wall. The rest of the bedroom area would be fine for a leprechaun but actually represents a danger for anyone trying to get out of bed; a few sore heads in the night from that one!!. Shower and toilet area may be challenging for larger people- I was only just able to squeeze in!
Kitchen poorly supplied with pots, crockery etc. Just one wine glass in Bologna??!! Plenty of salt though- but the salt grinder didn’t work.. Not much else re supplies, not even a few tea bags or coffee sachets…

We had an issue with the hairdryer. We contacted the owner who quickly provided a new one.
He also gave some great suggestions for dinner
Be aware there are lots of stairs.
This wasn’t an issue for us.

Very good location right in the central part of the city.
There were more than 3 flight of stairs and no lift to the apartment. Bathroom was quite small.
