A pleasent stay in the heart of Bologna. The apartment is clean and well organised, allowing us to make use of the kitch

Compact apartment with everything we needed for a few nights stay in Bologna. Centrally located, excellent coded entry, good shared laundry space which was helpful!

The windows face out to the Main Street, there needs to be a double or triple system of blinds and curtains installed to stop the bright city lights entering the apartment at night. Similarly, this could also restrict some evening noise.

Central, safe and comfortable - but not restful.

The location is incredible, in that you are walking distance to everything you could want out of Bologna. We also really appreciated a visit from a member of staff to check that we had arrived ok and that everything was working. I will also mention that the response times were outstanding. Thank you.

Unfortunately, the location is also a negative, in that you are above a pizza shop which is open until 5am and draws large crowds of young people. There is no aggression or threat but they are so noisy that sleep is a struggle, even with triple glazing. Other little gripes: even apartments in the UK have a coffee machine as standard. It's unusual to find somewhere without one. No complimentary water is also a surprise nowadays. Finally, the TV is old school, no opportunity for a night in with Netflix. All first world problems, but when you pay for an appointment, generally these come as standard.

Great place to spend a couple of nights in historic Bologna.

Comfortable, nicely decorated, fantastic location right in the heart of Bologna, you can walk everywhere. Large comfortable bed and good sound insulation, even on the first floor overlooking the street it was very quiet. Having a lift (esp with luggage) was very welcome, and not a given for accommodation in the historic district of an Italian town. Easy to access with a code, no danger of losing/forgetting keys. Many good restaurants and cafes close by, and around the corner is the famous Quadrilatero food district of Bologna.

Unfortunately there was a strong and unpleasant odour of drains in the bathroom. Also the placement of the shower fittings made the shower recess rather cramped and awkward.

Excellent location, excellent facilities specially the laundry room provision.

Property was clean however the shower tray had quite a bit of mould on the corners which can be easily removed so showering wasn’t a pleasant experience.

Shower tray could’ve been cleaner. Milk pods could’ve been added to the coffee tray, and a tissue roll.

Cosy stay in fab location

Great location for exploring Bologna. Super cozy with everything needed for a short visit. Having a lift and washing machine (second floor) also made life a bit easier. Loved our stay here and would happily return. Also had great comms with the hosts.

Great central location in Bologna!

The location is splendid! Right in front of the two famous towers, in the very center of the city. Every attraction is within walking distance. The apartment was very clean and comfortable. Despite being on the top floor, it was not hot due to the great air conditioning and good circulation. The kitchen is very well equipped.The terrace is a great spot for having dinner.

Nice clean / tidy residence in the heart of Bologna, literally a stone's throw from the Twin Towers.

Location great. Plenty of a nice Restaurants / Shops, virtually on the doorstep. Lovely establishment (Pizzeria Gingio) literally 20ft from the apartment entrance where we would have a morning Coffee + Croissant to start our day and also finish with a nice Nightcap. Due to the timing of our stay we didn't get to meet the Petronio Residence team, however we saw evidence of the apartment being cleaned / tidied after returning from our adventures. Keypad entry was great! No worrying about losing keys. Lift was available, so no problems with dragging luggage up staircases. We were on the 1st floor of the building. Bologna is a lovely place to visit; locals are very friendly and welcoming and the city is packed with both fascinating and beautiful architecture. There are also bus tours (with commentaries) that will give you an idea of where to visit. There are also many 'hidden treasures' to be found down narrow streets that are worth investigating.

Very small issue (that I'm sure the Petronio Team would have addressed if we had raised it) was the built-in safe did not work. One further issue that both my wife and I found awkward (but not insurmountable) was the size of the Shower Cubicle in the bathroom. The only way to describe it was 'very cozy'. Taking a showers were not the highlight of our days. The shower equipment was all clean and of a high quality, however the depth of the cubicle made it challenging to get into / move around in.

LOCATION! 1/2 block from the towers and 1 block from Piazza Maggiore. Clean and simple decor. Comfortable and close enough to drop off shopping bags or drop in for a snack mid-day.

A wonderful get-together for our family!

Perfectly located in the centre of the historic district and accessible by taxi and bus. It was such a pleasure to be able to walk to tourist sights. The beds were so comfortable (I like firm), the kitchen was nicely maintained and the washroom was clean and modern. The management was off-site but responded quickly to our messages. It was like having a friend around the corner!

My mother is 94 yo and does not walk too well. The entrance has a few shallow stairs, which I did not expect. Luckily it was well-lit so she could see where to step. A handrail on the wall would be very useful.

Electric door lock, no need to carry a physical key. Elevator. Excellent location. 2 mins walk to Cafe Terzi where you could enjoy the best coffee and pistachio croissants ever! Very comfortable bed and pillow.

They have a washing machine and a tumble dryer on the second floor - would be very nice if they could provide detergent for free or with a fee.

The best location for your stay in Bologna

Checking into the hotel was a breeze and all done on your mobile device. The location is unbeatable as you're right in the heart of Bologna. Even though you're on a main road, the windows are thick enough that you won't hear much or any street noise at night. It was also super nice to use the same code to enter the building and room rather than carrying around a set of keys.

The beds were not very comfortable and the pillows were not good either. Everything else was exceptional!

Pictures in the booking website are far from reality. ‘cold’ apartment. No decorating accessories at all. Does not make you want to stay in it. Located above a 24h pizzeria which is very popular among young and drunk locals. Extremely noisy all night.

Exceptional

It has the best location, it’s right by the tower. When we went shopping, each time we bought something, we dropped them home and continue the next one because it is that close to everything. The street is full of energy but the best thing is when you are home it’s very well noise isolated. The beds are very comfortable and the space is very practical and nicely decorated. We loved it, thank you.

Really first rate property. Watch out for the ZTL if you are driving.

Impeccable property, easy to access, right in the centre of this wonderful city.

The only negative thing I have to say - and it is a big thing - is that they ZTL congestion zone tripped me up when I drove in to the city. I think the property owners need to issue information about this in advance of all bookings. And also - when I asked them for help about this, after we had taken up residence in the property and realised we were likely to have to pay a fine - they were not able to offer any help or advice. Which was frustrating.
