Friendliness and a warm welcome. Some facilities locally which met our needs for a weekend break.

Although this property met our needs for a weekend break the location is a little far out from Weston Super Mare if you require more facilities and attractions within easy reach.

This property was situated a couple of miles outside of Weston itself. It was a quaint chocolate box location. On a main bus root if you didn’t want to drive much. A local friendly pub 30yards away. Close to a number of beaches. Mike and Maura our hosts were great, always chatty welcoming and friendly. The breakfasts were very well cooked and tasty. It is also pet friendly.

From our perspective the only down side we could find was the mattress, it was a bit too firm for our liking, for others it would probably be perfect. Mattresses are a bit like spice, some of us like more spice than others so trying to find a happy medium is difficult. Otherwise check this property out, you won’t be disappointed.

Owners were very friendly and made us feel very welcome. Has an amazing night's sleep and it was a beautiful location to wake up too. We was welcomed to breakfast and cooked us a delicious full English with quality ingredients. Thank you for a really lovely stay. Adam and Sarah

More milk in our rooms to make a drink - but then again I probably drink too much tea!! An top up milks we're available on landing, but I was worried to disturb other guests.

breakfast 100%, home made marmalade brill food quality brilliant,.nice bowl of fruit on table, great coffee didn't get chance to try homemade yogurt as full up so try next time when we are in area again our hosts were excellent very friendly and helpful keep up the good work. didn't get chance to visit the sandy beach but great view. very quiet location which was very good for us.

better mattress but only there 2 nights a little too soft.

Great location for South Sands and near WSM. Breakfast was fantastic 10/10.

The breakfast was lovely and the company was even better! Michael and Maura were so supportive, helping us settle in and giving us great recommendations on what to do in the neighbourhood. The room was quiet and comfortable and we had a great time. The owl decorations were particularly lovely and unique!

Short distance from Motorway Tranquility Location within easy reach of Sandy bay, Weston Super Mare, Cheddar Gorge and Wells by car.

Great quite location, Mike and Moira were fantastic - breakfast was excellent - great pub with great food right next door

Bed was a little hard but we normally have a quite a soft bed at home

This guesthouse was so homely and cosy, mike & Maura were so lovely and welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Free parking was ideal just at the side of the guesthouse, the bed was comfortable and the room had everything we needed, tea, coffee etc...free WiFi, and to top it off full English breakfast was beautiful and plenty of choice. Location was pretty good a short bus ride into Weston or a nice 30 minutes walk, also has a nice pub next door and a lovely fish and chips shop just down the road.

Nothing!! everything was so good and we would definitely stay here again if visiting Weston and would recommend to others.

Accompanying 642 The B&B has had it's present owners for 26 years. They had stopped taking bookings but after 10 weeks they were bored and now have 2-3 of the five rooms occupied, minimum two nights and, with our first night, we were the only guests as others had checked out. Arrival: Had a call from a withheld number, went driving and two minutes from the property, it was the proprietor. I presume they were expec us bang on the minute? Check in was 15-18... Greeted by him. Michael. He took us up the stairs and chatted to us when he reached the top, awkward when you're carrying a suitcase as you'd rather got it off balancing on the stairs. He were in a twin, room 3 iirc, potentially two. The window is a bit overlooked, double deck bus passengers can peer in. Gorgeous garden, nice view of it from breakfast too Lovely breakfast although a non musical radio start wasn't ideal to have on behind me, especially with Trump and Gaza being discussed...plus when he mentioned he cleaned the rooms to prevent COVID-19 and "the vomiting one" whilst eating a mouthful of sausage, beans and egg. Incredible entrance from the kitchen from his wife who started with turning to me as she walked in by saying name, then turning and saying my wife's and welcoming us. Mike did apologise whilst we eat when he said he hope he didn't mind the recent news of "the sexism diseases having no cure" (eek!) I recommend the fried egg, perfectly cooked, one of the best ever. No local independent ales at the pub next door alas. The decor was nice but the rooms and the sign need a lick of paint and repairing. The mattress was thin, it was like sleeping on a cushioned wire mat Happy to try there again. Mike has declining eye sight so don't delay.

Location was as expected, booked room with sea view - which it did have. Rooms are tidy and clean but could possibly do with a slight update, The breakfast was excellent with every taste catered for.

Beautiful large cottage on hillside road. Parking available at the back. Close to many walks and sand and sea. On bus route. Tide goes a long way out but still wonderful views. A short trip on the hillside road around to Weston-Super-Mare and all it has to offer. Lovely hosts plus a yummy breakfast provided. Only stayed 1 night as seeing a show but would have stayed longer. Good base for touring the area.

It was a lovely B&B lovely area lovely owners called Maura and Micheal very interested where we had come from and what we had been up to in the day gave us great information to where to go lovely cooked breakfast every morning. Great pub over the road and great location

The owners were lovely and friendly, and very informative of the area x this is a little gem of a find x will defo come back x nice location and just a lovely place. Breakfast was fantastic, room was clean, bright and airy, shower was better than some of the chains we have stayed in. Worth a stay.

Micheal & Maura were absolutely lovely & very welcoming. It was lovely & quiet & comfortable. Just what we needed. Breakfast cooked by Maura every morning was lovely. & a lovely pub next door.

Phone signal was poor. But managed to get WiFi from the pub next door. So I could phone home.

Lovely couple who run Owls Crest . Couldn't do enough for us . Dog friendly. Good area to travel to local attractions. Lovely breakfast each morning. Very handy pub next door that was dog friendly and did food . Would definitely recommend and return.

There is nothing to not like! Anyone wanting to stay in Weston I would recommend this property and hosts. If you wanted something nearer the pier you might go somewhere else but when the bus stops outside and only costs £5 for an all day pass plus you have the beautiful Sand Bay a short walk down the road, why would you go anywhere else!

Greeted by the lovely owners and shown where to park. Shown around the dining room and our room and nothing was too much trouble. The room was charming, bed a little firm for me but hubby found it comfy. Breakfast was delicious.

Everything was superb. The hosts were helpful friendly & attentive to one's every need, I look forward to seeing them again soon with my Wife.

Comfortabe accomodation and friendly hosts. Everything very clean. Convenient for the beach. Quiet location. Ideal if you don't want to be in town, although there is a regular bus service.
