Good choice for family travel

The apartment is quite spacious and comfortable for a family of six, and the kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, including various seasonings and appliances. The apartment also features a washer with dryer function, fans, and air conditioning—essential during hot weather. Just a 2- to 3-minute walk from Interlaken West, with the supermarket Migros, restaurants, and an UBS bank nearby. The apartment's windows provide excellent soundproofing, so you can barely hear the trains passing by. There are two entrances to the apartment: one via the stairs and one via the elevator. The latter offers significant convenience for families like us traveling with seniors and kids.

Good for a basic stay

Scenic view from the property, provision of a lift, although it is just a slowly rising platform. Fairly good facilities. Clean.

Temperature control of the water from taps/shower was not effective. Shower drainage was not effective. No provision of washing powder for the washing machine. A very early checkout time combined with total inflexibility and rude comments from the cleaning lady.

Perfect for a 2 night stay

The outdoor balcony was enjoyable at night. Was perfect for a 2 night stay, conveniently located to Migros (supermarket) and the lift was a lifesaver - though very slow!

No usb power adapters provided or universal adapters provided, which meant we had no way of charging our phones. In the end we had to buy an adaptable wall socket ($40!) In order to charge everyone's devices. Also, the second room is attached to the master, there is no separate entrance.

Clean and accessible, would recommend to stay here!

Apartment was clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was good with many restaurants, supermarkets and shops on the same street. It’s a good base to stay in interlaken with bus stops and trains very accessible. We were able to store our luggages before check in. Having lift access was wonderful as we had big suitcases! Had everything we needed for cooking too.

Minor thing but there was no detergent, but we could just buy it across the street! The luggage storage instruction was a bit complicated, but just follow them and you’ll be fine.

Beautiful apartment in a fantastic location

Loved staying here, perfect apartment for travelling in the area. We stayed for 8 nights and loved every minute. A quick 1 minute walk to the train and you can get to anywhere you want. Although right near the trains, it only has a little noise that did not bother us at all. The apartment had everything you need and Juliet answered any questions we had asap. Would not hesitate to recommend and would book it again in a second if we make it back again some day. Only one thing…….. just be aware that the second bedroom access is through the master bedroom. 😉

Wonderful stay in homely apartment

The apartment is located in a convenience location, just 2 minutes walk from train station. A very welcoming, home-like cosy and clean apartment with all the amenities and furnishings my family needs. The host provides very clear instruction on how to use the kitchen appliances and washer. Very responsive to my texts. Thank you for being such a great host! My family had the most enjoyable and wonderful stay in Interlaken!

t was perfect, location, apartment, dealing with the apartment team was so gentle and fast response they were helpful except for checking time it was too late 4 PM we requested from hostel owner to check early especially since we came from a long trip and we were family. I think need to change this policy for check-in

Perfect!

Super close to Interlaken West station. Migros is just few steps away, everything was very nice. Complete with kitchen utilities. They even got lift that can be used to transport elderly/baggage to the unit. I enjoy my time here.

Exceptional

Very convenient location, just next to Interlaken West Station and Migros Supermarket. A lot of restaurants and shops are at short walking distance. Spacious and very clean apartment with all modern amenities required for a family vacation. Beautiful views of the mountains. The air conditioning is a big plus during the summers.

Interlaken stay

Very good location, close to Interlaken West train station, so convenient travels to other parts of Jungfraujoch area. A stone away from Migros (& restaurant) and Denner which is also super convenient! Many facilities that are very helpful to our family during our stay (washing machine, llift for our heavy luggages and guest pass for our travels within the region) and a fully equipped kitchen with coffee, tea, sugar, and various condiments. Helpful and friendly staff that provide prompt replies to questions 👍 Overall a very pleasant stay!! 😊

Great location for touring all around the Lauterbrunnen valley!

This location is absolutely awesome for touring the area. It is a very short walk to mass transit that is frequent and reliable to Grindelwald, Murren, Bern, and Lauterbrunnen. The house manual was excellent. The apartment was light and comfortable. Kitchen worked well for both a few home cooked meals as well as breakfasts. The skylights allowed us to rapidly bring in fresh air when desired. The bed linens were super comfy. The washing machine was easy to use thanks to the house manual (European machines have always been a tad perplexing coming from the US). One would think being right next to a train station would make it hard to sleep, but swiss trains are electric and so well engineered, we barely heard them(!)\ It takes a little while to get to the ski areas, if that's your goal. But an advantage is that the town of Interlaken is considerably warmer and more comfortable, so when you don't want to ski, it's more temperate.

Highly recommended, the house is responsive and easy going too!

Location, if run you can reach Interlaken West station in 2 min. Kitchen facility is very complete, washing machine +dryer + hanging rack is very helpful. Detergent is provided too! Cheese fondue pot and skewers are provided. There is a file explaining how to operate the equipment in the house. House is very clean too! There’s a small lift in the building.

Like mentioned by others, the second room is assessed from first room, lack of privacy. The lift door can’t close well if the load is heavy (5 of us on average less than 60kg).

The apartment is spacious, beautiful and clean, located very close to the train station and migros. The beds are comfortable and there is everything you need, fridge, stove, cooking utensils, washing machine and dryer, TV, lift to get your bags up! Super convenitent

We didn't realise the only access to the 2nd room was through the first. But not that big of an issue

Nice place near the station to stay with family

The location is good and free parking is really helpful. The toilet and shower are clean and nice. Wash machine is silent and good. The cooking facilities are fine as well. We liked the environment friendly approach of the host and box to keep recycle materials! The rooms were having natural sun light in day time when weather permits! This facility is very near to train station but we have not used it much. Close by super market is closed on Sunday. There are couple of Coop stores nearby and one is within a petrol bunk and has long opening hours. Little bit tricky to identify the building parking as the construction is going on in site next to this building. Watch out for cyclist from the cycle path from station.

Missing the lift and it is 3rd floor. If you are with kids and big luggages, it is really difficult. I heard there is another way to reach the apartment with possibility to use left on next building. However we had no access to it. This is not good for family with small kids using buggy. There is no way you can carry wheel chairs. The second bedroom with two single beds are comfortable for same family members and the room access is only possible through the first bedroom. If you are not same family and need some privacy, then the second bedroom is not quite useful. There are sofa beds and we did not use it though. The placement of Sofa / couch in the living room is not convinient to watch TV though. Other than that, there is nothing to complain.
