Don’t do it!

There is nothing to like.

It is above a chinese food shop and stinks of cooking oil. There is one tiny filthy toilet and shower for 20 people to share. Think of the toilet behind a cheap restaurant and that’s the 1mx2m bathroom/toilet. The router for the wifi is too weak to reach our room. There was wet towels on the bathroom floor for 48 hours - not cleaned. The room was 1.5m x 5m at most you have to squeeze past each other. There was not an accessible balcony. You can say the location is good, but when you have to try and drag bags up a tiny staircase it offsets the location. Like a very cheap backpackers at the backend of Vietnam. Pay a bit more and go to the YHA.

Very poor accommodation - not recommended

The availability of two kitchens that were quite well-stocked with pots, pans and crockery but not so much cutlery was one of the few good features of this stay. Our room was clean, the beds were small but comfortable and the reception staff were friendly. Further, we could leave our luggage at the check-in hotel. The accommodation was also quite close to the railway station.

The room was extremely small on the top floor in a kind of attic. To access it, we had to climb sets of narrow, steep stairs Two single beds were placed end-to-end with very little space remaining length-wise to the far wall. Width-wise a double bed would not have fitted in. As well, there were only two very small rables in the room.

The location There were two fans in the room

Our mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable. There was hair on my pillow. The room was tiny for a family room for 3. The shower drain was blocked, and water built up. There was not enough toilet paper. There was no lift, and we were on the third floor. I found a pubic hair in the basin. There were no smoke alarms or signs for exits in case of fire.

Avoid this hotel if you don’t want your trip spoiled

the location is good, close to COOP supermarket and McDonald, but Interlaken is a small town, location is not an important factor comparing with other factors.

The room is very small and basic. The lampshade was mouldy, and the electric fan was cheap and broken. Sound insulation is poor, making it noisy. The shared toilet and shower are located down a long, narrow hallway, which feels uncomfortable.

Stay away from this property! There is only one bathroom for the whole building, single unit shower, single toilet. I have never seen something like this, ever. Knowing how the Swiss are with the rules, I don't even understand how they are allowed to operate, I bet there are a dozen health violations going on there. When we arrived we wanted to take a shower, the kitchen had a door that was going in to the bathroom. Some asian people were cooking something that smelled awful with the bathroom door open, that had a totally different bad smell. We left and now we have a claim with booking. I hope this review will help some people take an informed decision. Have a nice vacation!

right at the centre of town, close to supermarket. Room is humbly decent, kitchen is well-equipped with all cooking utensils

Location of the place. What a nightmare to spoil your trip worth lot of money money and time.

I was give a room which had entrance from kitchen. There were boys living permanently who would cooks seafood and meat in the night. Room was full of bad odours and when they were cooking all the odours would flow into room. Outside the window there was balcony where the same boys would smoke so can't open window either. Kitchen had no window no exhaust.Toilet bathroom was shared, Boys would use toilet spreading urine all over the floor.I booked for three nights but couldn't stay more than 2. This was the trip I was looking to for which turned out to be disappointing and waste of money. Wouldn't recommend

FILTHY WITH RUDE STAFF

They place which is shown on pictures isn't the one It looks like a construction site full of dust and dark and will welcome you with no light bulb as you walk in you can use your mobile as a torch if you suffer from dust Allergy or Asthma this is the place to have it triggerd and spend a night in hospital maybe. I went there with my 8 yr old Son and brother us 3 suffer with Asthma specially my son does sverely we refused to stay there and contacted Booking.com same night Staff was rude and wouldn't listen and then a lady memeber of staff went there and came back and confirmed that the place was covered with dust she had a peice of cloth in her hand which she used to clean the place and offered me to oay more to have the room changed at another place I refused The male member of staff came out of reception to fight cuase I recorded them while returning the key at Hotel Toscana I had to ring the police as I had a child with me who started crying they didn't care and ruined our night after a long day travelling Even the Police man apologised and said this is not true Swiss and they are not true swiss people and not representing Switzerland well and said they will be informed to the relevant department for renting filthy hotel rooms and places

It’s value for money overall for the 2 nights in Linda House.

As the owner of this hotel is the same as Linda House. We added 15 CHF to continue to stay in Linda house in the 2nd floor. (1) one good thing will be the shared kitchen.

(1) No lift. we had to carry our own huge 5 pieces of luggage up to 3rd floor. (2) Check- in was at Hotel Toscana, a 8 minutes walk from Linda House.
