Disappointment

The only good thing was the proximity to the lake.

The price and quality of the accommodation does not correspond to the description in the ad. The room we were accommodated in does not look like a decent room for rent. The biggest disappointment is the view through the window into the concrete wall, which causes a feeling of claustrophobia. In addition, an already narrow space additionally filled with unnecessary things prevents normal movement and functioning, as well as the influx of daylight. Bed comfort unsatisfactory. We definitely do not recommend this accommodation.

Position was good. The staff at breakfast and gentleman who checked us out were brilliant.

The room was sold to us as a Penthouse suite which it definitely is not. It is a loft room with windows that you can’t see out of as they are too high. Please don’t book this room. Also showers in this room and other room we booked are too low for anyone over 5 foot 5. So no views of Lake Bled. All incorrectly described.

Great room felt more like a small apartment, and the location was great , dinner was really tasty

This is a truly beautiful hotel in a wonderful location. It’s just outside of Bled and I would argue that it has the best view of the lake you can find. We went there for our honeymoon and they upgraded our room. They gave us a beautiful room that had both a lake view and a castle view. The dinner in their restaurant was very good as well.

The staff were helpful and kind - even writing us a brief list of what activities to do throughout our stay. One of our most memorable stays!

Not worth the extravegance.

Great location, great view.

We stayed in the deluxe suite. The toilet cleaning brush was left on the bidet. The towels were extremely limited. The automatic blinds did not work on all but one window - and they were needed because the suite faces Lake Bled and the road. Also, the decor was a bit of a hodgepodge. I call it Scarface meets yard sale. There were orchids wintering over in the room - not exactly beautiful, and large chip in the stone cocktail table, and some Venetian wine goblets were displayed on the window sill and they themselves were badly chipped. It felt like abandoned elegance at an up to date price.

Poorly cleaned, dusty and with a view of the Lake

The location was great for direct access to Lake Bled but inconvenient for restaurant options and the town.

The cleanliness at this hotel is very poor and standards are very low. Minimal housekeeping standards and very very dusty place. Bedding wasn't crisp and bathroom wasn't cleaned to an acceptable standard. The tea/coffee station was very dirty with previous guests drinks still left in the fridge. Staff don't explain the facilities well and we had to ask many questions to get an understanding of where things are in the different area of the hotel. Pop up restaurant is noisy with loud chatting going on into the late night. No aircon in bedroom. No face cloths or bar soap and poor quality slippers available for use on a very dusty floor and persian rugs. The place needs a proper deep clean with a strong vac!

Our room! We had a double room - didn’t expect a full lake view but we were given a room which was very dark , view of a wall , odd mix of furniture - fridge on a worktop which was so loud we had to turn it off at night !!I booked this thinking we would at least have a nice room with some view ! Instead of a broom cupboard!

I would not choose to return to this accommodation.

The hotel’s location is very good, with the beach and several restaurants easily accessible. The breakfast was tasty, although the variety could be a bit wider. The room’s facilities were adequate, but the bed was uncomfortable and worn out. The minibar refrigerator did not work, and more attention should be paid to cleanliness and maintenance.

The air conditioning unit in the room was extremely dirty. Since then, I have been suffering from an allergic illness. The filters were very dirty, and I had to clean them myself in order for the air conditioner to work at least partially. Furthermore, the fan inside the unit was moldy, covered with a thick layer of mold. This likely caused my upper respiratory infection. I reported this issue at check-out, but unfortunately, I have not received a meaningful response since.

Great location and staff, well worth a stay if you are visiting Bled for a few days.

Great location on the lake with amazing views. Really helpful staff, lovely room and breakfast. We also had the pop up dinner one evening which was delicious. It is a 10/15 minute walk into the main town so a much quieter location but easily accessible to the main amenities. Would definitely recommend.

Only slight downside is that it is next to the road so can be a bit noisy when the traffic is busy or queuing up outside (we stayed in August so peak season). But the windows was were well sound proofed and on the whole it wasn’t a big issue for us.

Perfect fairytale stay

Adora is a really special hotel right on Lake Bled, the room was beautiful with plenty of space, A lovely bath and amazing balcony overlooking the lake. What we enjoyed most was the restaurant, we enjoyed the 5 course menu one evening and then the chef made a smaller menu the second evening. The food was delicious, presented well and had a lovely atmosphere sat outside. Breakfast was also very nice with a good selection. Location is great, near shops and restaurnats and close to the lake for a swim and walk. Would definitely stay again.
