Location! On Lake Bled! Dining outside gave great views! The hotel itself is well appointed! Our room had a very fresh, pleasant smell! The shampoo and soap provided had a lovely scent as well. The dining was the highlight! We were celebrating our anniversary, and the 4 course dinner was the best we’ve ever had! The chef is a true talent, opting for local ingredients, which we felt enhanced the experience. He came to our table personally several times. Our waiter was amazing as well. The staff in general was 10/10

The location of the hotel is excellent, right on the lake.
Breakfast was continental only and 22 euros.

there needs to be a clear direction or signage to Reception - we had to walk around looking for it. This is the guests first impression and we had no welcome or friendly greeting.
we were quoted online a special meal for 75 euros each which we accepted and booked, however when the dinner menus came out it was 85 euros or 100 euros. so it was different to what we accepted via email.
Please make sure that shampoo and conditioner is filled- it was empty for our stay. No milk supplied for coffee. Tea and coffee was not topped up each day.
Mattress was faulty it lost its integrity and you rolled towards centre so not good for 2 people- one of us slept on the couch. we also needed to work and the wifi was not good, we couldn’t use conference calls or work on more than one device.
We spent a lot for one of the best rooms and its location and views were amazing. We did expect more for what we paid which was over 500 euros per night.

Position was good. The staff at breakfast and gentleman who checked us out were brilliant.
The room was sold to us as a Penthouse suite which it definitely is not. It is a loft room with windows that you can’t see out of as they are too high. Please don’t book this room. Also showers in this room and other room we booked are too
low for anyone over 5 foot 5. So no views of Lake Bled. All incorrectly described.
