Hotel room was too warm in October for two retirees coming from the Algarve Region.

Hotel Lovec is clean and in a good location for exploring around Lake Bled. We also enjoyed the restaurant on site as well as the breakfast selection.

The room was too hot and there was no way to lower the temperature other than opening the window which then left us with the very loud street noise below us. The bathroom was very small and awkward the shower bathtub a bit of a high step up.

Receptionists were very nice and professional. 10/10 for them!

Room is overpriced, just the view was nice but the rest of the room wasn't worth the high price (180€ per night, with discount from Booking...) Breakfast was various but quality, in my opinion, is below the standard of 4* hotels.

Solid stay close to Lake Bled

Lovely restaurant on premises. Very good breakfast buffet. Wonderful water pressure. Had parking. Close to Lake Bled and many restaurants.

Room was too warm. Rooms somewhat small. Parking spots also small.

Generally we didńt have bad stay but it was bad valeu for money

Food was excellent

Big noise from the main road due to heavy traffic, no view on lake from the first floor, surrounding quite ugly. There was also outgoibg facilities in the room - bath tub leaking, whirlpool not working, light in bathroom out of order, heating didń t heat, there was not enough space to let our stuff dry. Wellness also not very good - sauna not heated up properly, whirlpool out of order, all the space full of used linen, nobody was there to tidy up, some showers leaking or blocked, no drinkig water available

Overlooked a cat park (lake is the other side of it). Although clean, not much charm. Bled lake was beautiful but the town not so much. If I were to go back I’d stay up the other end away from all the crowds!

Large, comfortable and clean room.

Great location, friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast. Room was an unusual layout with a huge bathroom, centre wardrobe area and big wooden furniture and it was certainly comfortable, clean and big. The pool/sauna area was very nice and clean.

High price per night and small windows. For the high price I expected we would have a lake view but otherwise it was a very comfortable stay.

Decent option if you're looking for family suite

Family suite is spacious with two bedrooms. Breakfast was good with local products. There was available parking. We were assigned a lake view suite but it was a bit noisy as it's next to the street. Nice detail at check out.

Bath tube was horrible if you just want a quick shower as water splashed all over the bathroom. It was stated family suite is for 2 adults and 2 children even if booking just booked for 2+1, hotel confirmed they would correct guests but at check out, they charged the extra bed and breakfast for one child. We paid the half pension option with dinner included unfortunately nobody explained us that dinner was at another hotel (Kompass) buffet style until 8:30 pm, we arrived just before closure time and personal didn't want to work anymore, it was difficult to order some paid beverages. Personnel was having dinner at the buffet.

The number of parking places at this hotel is limited, but at the affiliated Kompas Hotel has plenty, within a short walking range.

A superb location with lake views

The hotel is in a superb location overlooking Lake Bled, and the room I booked came with a balcony. While it DID have a lake view, though, it also overlooked. a busy main road which made things quite noisy. The breakfast buffet was excellent and the staff very friendly and attentive - making a special effort to help me when I managed to leave my passport behind!

The only negative thing was the busy road - but that's not the hotel's fault.

A gorgeous hotel

The staff were very welcoming and professional. The room was gorgeous and clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was a great choice and delicious. Great location.

Shame that the toaster in the restaurant did not work on any of the 3 days. Would be great if the tvs can be smart with Netflix, would be willing to pay more for this facility

A great hotel with a lovely lake view

Great location, close to the lake, minutes from plenty of restaurants, and a few minutes from Bled Union bus stop. Staff were unfailingly kind and professional, and check-in and check-out were very efficient. We booked a room with a balcony with a lake view, which was totally worth it; the view was lovely, and the balcony was sheltered, so even when it rained we could sit on the balcony and enjoy the view in the dry. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable; it was very quiet and we slept well. Breakfast had a large selection and the quality was high. Would stay there again without hesitation.

Great location and breakfast

Very nice breakfast buffet with options for everyone and various options for vegan, gluten-free and other special diets. Great location, very close to the lake. The staff were very kind, helpful and dog-friendly and allowed our well-behaved dog to go with us into the restaurant.

The hotel could use a renovation because some things in the room are not working or are damaged e.g. light switch / plug / curtains and hot tub and shower are leaking whenever used. Rooms are a bit small, especially for 2 people it gets crowdy. Superior room is not a good value for money. The only real upgrade there (compared to regular room) is the hot tub, which leaks and some of its jets weren't working so definitely not worth that much more.

Great getaway

It was very comfortable and warm, and the room was spacious. The location is perfect, very close to the lake! Breakfast selection was amazing with a lot of local products, and stuff was super helpful, speaking multiple languages!

Entering the bathtub was a bit challenging, I can imagine that for someone with restricted mobility wouldn't be the perfect. But maybe was just in our room

The staff was very friendlyand helpful. Nice view and comfortable accomodation, there was also a coffee machine in the room.
