Perfect stay a few minutes from the lake

It was our second stay and it was fine again. Easy to find, few minutes walk to the lake, perfectly clean, easy parking, comfortable beds.

Great place to stay while in Bled

Staff is extremely friendly and gives you good advice on places to visit both for views and good food. So if you're not from Slovenia or it's your first time in Bled it will be very useful information. Rooms are cozy and clean, the vibe is great.

Great apartment!

Nice and cleans rooms, plenty of space for parking, the furniture was new and clean as well, friendly staff, the location is good you just need to walk to the main road and there is a shop, restaurants and a bus stop taking you to the center, recommend!

Room unlike the pictures, but a good stay overall

The staff was very polite and welcoming, explained us the breakfast options, gave us clear instructions and informed us about the pedestrian restricted traffic on the lake bled trail. The room was very clean, bed was comfy. We tried the Bled Breakfast (the basket with products) - I think it's a nice experience to try once. We didn't try the buffet version as we wanted a cheaper breakfast for the second evening.

We decided to pay a bit more to have a bit more space, so instead of booking an economy room we booked a double room. The problem is that our room didn't have a photo in the "double room" category. None of the rooms pictured on Booking.com have a slanted roof. Room number 14 (the one that we were in) has a slanted roof, a bit too much if you ask me, you can easily hit your head from one side of the bed, or in the bathroom. The lack of a normal roof was quite annoying because we didn't choose it, I would have avoided it otherwise. Another kind of annoying thing, although this is very temporary - While there are roadworks in the tunnel area you can't go on foot to the city center, you need to go clock-wise around the lake, or take your car. We chose this property because it offered parking (since in Bled it's around 2.5 EUR - 4.5 EUR per hour depending on the area) and because it was within an acceptable walking distance (if you could go directly by foot). We had to pay extra for the city center for that matter.

VIlla is located in a very quiet neighborhood, but is still very close to the lake. Receptionist is very friendly and open to all questions. Parking was great, location was perfect. The room was a bit small, but ok for one night.

First time in Bled

Vila Alpina is great. 5 minutes from Lake Bled, directly to the swimmable area. The area is quiet, you can enjoy stargazing and in the morning eat peacefully in the terrace. Rooms for couples are small but manageable. Dolores at the reception is so nice and helpful. She has these great tips of where to go and what to do. Also, they have a digital guide that is very helpful.

It was a pleasant stay in a beautiful location.

The location was great, close to a quieter area of the lake, and it had lots of parking. We appreciated the breakfast room.

I felt like the mattress on my side of the bed was sagging and my husband hit his head a couple of times on the sloped ceiling. (Looked like he wasn’t the only one.) Our children stayed in a small ground floor room and it was difficult to have good ventilation with no window in the bathroom and the room windows opening to the entryway stairs.

Absolutely loved our stay at Vila Alpina! Thank you

The place felt very homely from the beginning of our four day stay. The location was great, less than 5 minutes walk to the lake. Our hosts were very friendly & helpful throughout our time at their place. The breakfast baskets available to order to our room were adorable, but also great value for money, feeding us for breakfast & lunch.

The only thing was the noisy AC unit in the room. We needed it overnight due to the summer temperatures. Everything else was fantastic!

Wouldn't stay here again — overpriced and disappointing

5-10 minutes walk to the lake and nearest super market, free parking spots.

Arrived with high expectations based on the reviews and that their awards that they display at the reception - but we were disappointed. We were given a dark, musty basement room. The bathroom window opened into a dirty light well, and the windowsill above the bed had dead insects outside. Our bed mattress smelled bad, we only realised it at night - the limited reception hours (12–20) added to the inconvenience. Poor value for money.

Fab location and a wonderfully quiet and beautiful hotel

Wonderful quiet location but only a short walk from the lake. Fantastically bathed in sunshine. The Vila was beautifully modern and equipped like a real mountain chalet. Peter was a super host, telling us the things to see and places to go. For Which we did all of his recommendations and were not disappointed!

It’s just a little thing that some of us faced at breakfast. It would be nice if there was a kettle downstairs too, not just in the rooms. As well as mugs and glasses. So we don’t have to bring them down in the mornings and back after.

It was a wonderful experience. we got there early and they checked us in welcomingly. Anya was so helpful, she sat on the deck and discussed many fun things for us to do. Gregoro was also so helpful.
