Easy and nice place!

The location is great. The moode of the property is genuine and non-generic! The room is nice and warm, spacious. There is a common diner/kitchen but don't expect to cook or even heat your fod there, it's only to eat and store your food.

There was no microwave in the dining room. Would have been really nice to be able to warm the food.

Perfect location in a historic villa close to the shore, very friendly stuff, huge rooms, very clean. We loved the atmosphere and would stay there again next time

Excellent value room in Beautiful Bled

Excellent find close to the lake (my room had a lake view). By Bled standards, Vila Gorenka is excellent value. Room was good with solid wifi. A communal kitchen with basic equipment and coffee making facilities is available in an external building.

Run down ,overcharged accommodation.

Location to the Lake . The girl who met us and gave us our key was friendly and informative.

The villa is very run down, hostel like feel to it with a ridiculous price tag for the sub standard condition of the place. In our bedroom the curtain was hanging from the window and our beds had no headboards. We shared a v basic bathroom with other guests . We were aware of the shared bathroom but the website gave us no hint as to the run down nature of the villa. We paid around 250 euro for 1 night with no breakfast. We travelled to a hotel in Portoroz with a pool ,fantastic views of the sea ,beautiful bedroom and facilities with breakfast included for 50 euro more per night. My advice stay in a hotel in Lake Bled,although more expensive , at least you will be staying in accommodation that meets more than v basic needs. Villa G might suit students, although I doubt they could afford the price tag. I would never stay here again and I have travelled a lot!!!

Super close location with lake view in Bled.

Location is amazing, we loved the balcony. Also all information is clear with a room with shared bathroom this is a good option value for money.

It is not a place for adults. It is a low class hostel!

1-They have limited parking spots, so you have to be lucky to park your car in the hotel. They suggest parking the vehicle in a public car park, which is an 8-minute walk away. That park does not even have security for 24 hours, and they close at 10:00 PM. You can park there if you're brave enough to leave your belongings inside the car. So, you must pay 10€ + 10€ for car parking there without security. Good Luck. 2-Shared bathroom and toilet mentioned under the facilities details, which I did not read. It's like a hostel for students, not a place for adults to stay, especially when you see how dirty the toilets are. It is overpriced for a hostel! 3-It is irritating that we have to pay the city tax twice. I have a screenshot that says the city tax is included. However, staff insist on taking another € 6.20. She only says that there is a mistake with the Booking system, which is not her problem. My wife and I did NOT stay there and drove to Ljubljana for a decent hotel. Bled is a crowded tourist place that is overpriced. Bled hotels and hostels are often overpriced, and their staff can be impolite to guests due to the high volume of customers.

Awesome, clean authentic European home with lake view!

Great location! Small view of lake (less impressive from ground floor). 2 bedrooms and 1 large bath (ground floor has a washing machine). Kitchen and large bath. Super cool authentic European home/furniture. Very clean and comfortable. Everything within walking distance. Space for parking. Maria was amazing—she gave honest and great advice about the area.

Hand-held shower only in bathroom—makes for a fun showering experience :) We had no problems, but it’s good to know.

Perfect place!

The host was very kind and helpful, he gave us lots of advice and recommended activities within 100km of the lake.From the window of the accommodation we had a fantastic view of the lake! I highly recommend this great accommodation to everyone!

The accommodation was unusual, and we compared it to the appearance of an escape room. It was warm and the beds were comfortable, but almost everything in the accommodation was old except the bathroom. It was really authentic. The owner of the apartment was very kind, he explained everything to us. Since we were traveling as 2 families with children, we had our own bathroom and did not share it with other apartments. The location is good, a little on the hill above the lake, but it takes 3 minutes to reach the lake. We decided to come here because of the price. The rating we will give will be increased by one just because of the owner. We had a parking space in the yard that we paid for, which is perfectly fine.

We have never been in this kind of accommodation, we are used to something different. This accommodation is more for couples without children.

Good position

In a lovely position. The host was friendly and provided good information on transport and restaurants. The room was clean but a basic room with ensuite.

The property has not reached its full potential. With a bit of tender loving care it could be so much better. A couple of comfortable chairs and easy coffee making facilities, extra power points and a bedside lamp on both sides of the bed would make a huge difference.

Fantastic stay at Vila Gorenka, central location and friendly staff

Excellent location, very central. Nice to have private parking. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, providing us with great recommendations to make our stay memorable. The room was clean, and had a great view of lake Bled.

Would have been an added plus to have some soap and shampoo in the showers, but that’s it.

I Wouldn't Stay Here Again

We could park there.

It was basically a hostel, but the bedroom had a door. Shared bathroom that we were told we wouldn't actually share with anyone, which was a lie as all 3 other rooms on the floor shared it, so it was constantly in use and gross. No air flow/air conditioning. Beds were terrible. No amenities like hair dryer, soaps, etc. For the price, this place was not worth it at all.

Charming romantic building right in the center of Bled. The possibility to reserve a (paid) parking space at the accommodation.

The old charming building makes the rooms a little noisy but not annoying. Certainly a basic good room, but not cheap, considering there is also no breakfast is included. Of course you pay for the central and touristic location in high season.

Simple but nice guesthouse. Very cordial welcome from our host. Got some tips for dining out and things to see. Location is very good, our room even had a little view of the lake.

The shared kitchen could use a hot plate so you can use the mocca coffe-pot profided for the guests. But that is really just a small issue 😉
