Rikli Balance Hotel – Sava Hotels & Resorts

Hotel is awesome. Paid parking available. Hotel on the hill overlooking the lake, nice view at the pool area. Room really clean. Highly recommended.

Very conveniently located, clean, friendly staff. Breakfast spread was good. Guests get €1 off the pletna boat ride.

The sis is incredible here and well worth staying just for that. We had DBB which was incredible value for money. Warning though it’s up a hill and that did put me off a bit. In warm weather it’s very hard to climb the hill with your suitcases off the bus and at night after a meal!

We stayed in Rikli Balance Hotel in Bled, Slovenia, for 4 nights (half board) this week as a couple in a room overlooking the lake As we were arriving by 9 pm they offered to a cold plate as the meal time is till 9 pm. We refused as we prefer warm at night and confirmed that we will order room service. To our surprise room service menu had only cold meals. They charged extra for the cold sandwiches and the manager did not show any flexibilty despite being offered a cold plate earlier Double room felt quite tight Bathroom was okay but the shower was really small - a bit disappointing. Balcony was however big size and saving grace. Room cleaning was fine apart from one occasion we felt the room was not hoovered properly In the restaurant for breakfast and dinner, the food quality was good. However don’t expect much choice for vegetarian in terms of protein. They do offer tofu and canned lentils if required. This beats the total ethos of Rikli balance where fresh food is highlighted. Some staff were very helpful and friendly, while other staff were less so. It appeared from their behaviour as if they are doing some favour to their guests for being in the hotel. Overall, we will look at other accommodation in Bled next time.
