Excellent stay. Very quiet and peaceful. Spacious and appreciated the small fridge and kettle. The restaurant is very good for dinner or lunch. Breakfast had good eggs made to order, but otherwise quite minimal for the price. Overall would definitely stay again. Very charming.

An absolutely beautiful room in a wonderful hotel. The staff are lovely and we enjoyed a running joke about hotel parking during our stay. They have parking and it is great but I kept arriving at the same time as the tourist train was parking or broken down and other such unexpected problems. It was never a real problem and gave us the opportunity to share a joke! I’ve stayed in Bled many times and it’s without doubt the BEST place to stay.

Very cute place. We just stayed one night but we had dinner in the restaurant which was very good. Especially the duck pate and pork shank. We had two large wooden bunk beds and a nice queen bed. Sheets and blankets we clean and comfortable. Good pillows as well. Charming decor. Everyone was friendly.

Fantastic stay at a lovely property. We stayed on the top floor, and had amazing views of the surrounding area and castle. The room had double air conditioning, which came in very handy in such hot weather as we had. The property is a converted farm house, and has some of the rustic farmhouse style, but modern conveniences. We were traveling as a family of four, and all agreed it was the best stay of our European trip.

The room was well crafted from reclaimed lumber making it look and feel like an old Inn. Bed was comfortable but a bit firm. The room however, had a light in the small hallway controlled by a motion sensor that kept triggering the light off and on during the night. No clue as to why, but it kept waking us up. Room was also very warm and the temperature could not be conteolled because the AC was not engaged during our time there. We had to sleep with the windows wide open, but at least there were no outside noises to hinder sleep. This hotel is also a pet friendly hotel which did not work out so well for us. A dog was left in a room unattended and the dog barked contually. There is no way to contact Hotel Staff once they leave for the day other than placing an international call to a local number (no phone in room and no 800 number to call). So had to call this number, pay internation fees, only to be told there was nothing they could do about the problem, UNTIL, I mentioned how inappropriate it was for people to go out and leave their pet unattended. Then was I told that all they could do was to try and call the people to inform them their dog was barking. Not sure how it ended up but dog eventually stopped barking later in the night. Other than these specific issues, it was a good place to stay, conveniently located to Lake Bled and activities. If you purchased their breakfast, it was a good offering, not just pantries.

Staff was helpful and polite. The rooms and facilities were pristine. Location is tucked away a little (ideal) and a 5 minute walk to the lake. I had dinner at the restaurant one evening — extensive wine selection and great food. Highly recommend!

Everything was perfect!! A charming, rustic, homely hotel with the kind of amazing staff you simply don’t get in the big chains. We had the room at the top of the shop (22) which has startling views. Fabulous!

This is a really nice hotel. Our room had a lake view, which was really lovely. Because the hotel is in such an old building, it does lack some luxury but would still recommend. Breakfast was very nice and good value.

Room looks like a what you have seen in a fairy tales. Clean and cosy. They have a great restaurant within the hotel. Best stake I’ve ever had in my whole life and I’m almost 60 and travelled everywhere.

Old Bled House is a wonderful hotel. You have to know ahead of time that it's intended to remain an old Alpine setting therefore there is no elevator and all the decor is Alpine Rustic. The Staff is GREAT!!!!!

The hospitality was amazing! The person that checked us in was very friendly and showed us everything we needed to know. Very close to the city center. We had dinner on site and it was amazing! The bed was squeaky and i woke up everytime my husband flopped to his other side. Otherwise great accomadation for the location and and especially the price!

I had a great time in Bled thanks to Old Bled House. First, I could start staying smoothly in spite of having arrived at midnight. The owner's introduction was very helpful so, I don't have to worry about check-in. The next, it's small hotel but, I was glad that each room has fridge and bottle(for water, tap water is drinkable). The next, this room has a restaurant and food is very good. They have a wide range of wine and staff told me details about it. I don't know much about wine and it's helpful. If it's sunny day, it's possible to enjoy dinner in the terrace The last, every staff is very gentle and kind. I felt comfortable and I could enjoy stay in Bled.

The room was lovely and had everything we needed. Our view was amazing and waking up to the beautiful songbirds in Bled was delightful! Parking was convenient as were all the sites of the town. It was very clean and the staff answered all our questions with a smile!

Rooms are really cute and cozy, very alpine (small storage space but not an issue for us). Walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors, esp in the morning getting ready for early departures. Bring earplugs or the hotel could provide them. Great location, an easy walk downhill to the lake/town center - 12 min walk to the laundry facility and 5 min walk to Tale of us (best meal we had!). Our main issue was that there is no area to get together - like a common space- during the winter except the tables outside which gets really cold. We asked the restaurant if we could have a coffee/tea before we left and they said only lunch so our group of 4 couldn’t wait for our airport pick up inside. Even though most tables were empty and there are three rooms - they could open at least one for people to sit or for tea/coffee. Rooms have coffee /hot water machines but no coffee. Continental breakfast was extremely bare/basic, especially for Christmas Day when everything was closed. Roq at check in was very helpful! He gave us several maps, circled recommendations and helped us find where the blessing of the horses were. Old cellar restaurant had good food and wine when open/remember to make reservations for dinner in advance - the venison stew was delicious.
