Cosy little cottage with easy access to the lake

Cosy and quiet little chalet which had everything we needed. Breakfast delivered each morning was a selection of healthy deli items including the usual sliced cheese and meat, but also yogurt with fresh fruit, fresh bread and juice. Excellent communication from Alice, who had to come and help us technophobes with the TV! Short walk to lake.

If there were curtains downstairs it would be more private, and also warmer in the winter months.

Home from home in this quiet cottage in the centre of Bled

A perfect gateway for an intimate moment

Everything was perfect, the cabin house is perfectly designed, feels homy cosy and very charming. There are plenty of utensils if you would like to cook along with a small fridge and stove. We forgot that we had breakfast included so the next day we found a small basket at the backyard with some goodies (it was a light breakfast with eggs, fresh bread, jam and butter) but was good. The cabin is very well isolated and the shower was perfect, a bit small but it perfectly does the job. The landlord came to check in if we needed anything and made sure we are alright. When we were there it was raining heavily, so we asked for umbrellas and got two from the landlord, that was so sweet!

The only thing that I think would make a bit of difference for me personally is having curtains at the ground floor. Obviously it’s also nice to be able to see outside especially as the garden is very well maintained, but I would prefer to have the possibility of opening and closing the curtains in the kitchen/small living room for more privacy. FYI, there is already curtains at the first floor which is the bedroom.

Things were a little worn, towels were threadbare, most plates had several chips Bathroom while clean, was a little tired and the shower doors requires you to be extra careful when using

Nice experience

Nice location (near the lake, near pubs and restaurants), free parking just in front of the cottage. It is in the garden of a dental clinic, but it wasn't bothering at all. Our lovely host offered her help several times, made sure we have everything we need. It was also contactfree, she texted or called, I liked that very much. The kitchen is well-equipped, there are only a few things missing. Not as remote as I originally thought it will be, but I liked this place.

If you plan to cook in the cottage, this might interest you: we couldn't find a chopping board, big knife and a sieve. Also, there is a Zepter capsule coffeemachine, bring compatible capsules with you, if you would like to use it, because we couldn't find any compatible capsules in the local shop.

Excellent location in the center of Bled. Near restaurants and five minute walk to the lake. Stocked kitchen with comfortable bed. Close to city areas but quiet at night. Will definitely look up to stay at when in Bled again.

it felt like we were staying in someone’s backyard. perhaps we hadn’t read up enough about the place in advance (we’re on a long trip and booking serval hotels at once). the shower door was almost falling apart. the stay was 140 euros which is the worst 140 euro I’ve ever spent. the place wasn’t worth more than 50 euro. the money was to be placed on the kitchen table. the entire stay felt really bizarre.

I'm coming back!

This was such a fantastic choice. Having the whole place to ourselves, with a full kitchen, in such a perfectly walkable location. The house is so charming and well appointed. The owner highly communicative and available, but unobtrusively via text. STAY HERE. The cafe/bakery next door was excellent.

It was confusing to find at first. I know you get a ton of emails from Booking.com, but there will be one from the owner with directions - read and save it, you'll need it.

Would sleep better with air con but it was perfectly clear there was no a/c, this is not a complaint at all. If there were good power sockets by the bed side tables it would be more convenient. Also a socket positioned so the fan could be put in a position where it was more effective to cool you when in bed

Location was great. The hut was quirky and fun.

Few things in need of maintenance and repair - the shower holder was broken in the bathroom for example. Also there was quite a lot of noise when it rained.

Enjoyed our private cabin, perfectly located near the lake!

Location was perfect, a very short walk to the lake, restaurants, shops, visitor information center where we also rented bicycles. Very nice to have a separate bedroom and sitting area plus kitchenette to ourselves.

Would have been really nice to have a coffee pot and coffee. There was a K-cup coffee maker but the coffee "pods" available were too big for the coffee maker so we could not make any coffee. And outlets near the bed would be nice. And a light by the bed also, or one that lights up the entire stairs because the stairs to the bedroom as steep and half dark if only the upstairs or downstairs lights are on, so it is a bit hazardous in the middle of the night.

Superb

Very quiet and close to Bled Lake. A very peaceful place and lovely made interior. Staff was available and very kind. I would defiantly come back to this place next time again.

It could have been a little bit cleaner. Shower is super tiny but ok for quick showers. Otherwise, nothing to complain :-)

Wir kommen wieder!

Das Chalet war wunderbar ruhig im Garten gelegen, obwohl die Lage inmitten von Bled war. Sehr gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Das Frühstück, das jeden Morgen geliefert wurde, war sehr lecker. Die Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin super unkompliziert und zuvorkommend. Wirklich alles zum Wohlfühlen!

De Ligging was perfect, ook al moesten we even zoeken. Alles was aanwezig en het zag er heel gezellig uit!

We misten wel een airco, het slapen was heel warm.

Gemütliches Häuschen in perfekter Lage

Das Häuschen liegt ca. 150 m vom See entfernt und ist sehr gut und gemütlich ausgestattet. Kommunikation mit Vermieterin ist gut. Frühstück wird täglich als Box geliefert (Brot, Joghurt, Ei, Milch, Saft, Wurst, Käse, Marmelade … Kaffee muss selbst zubereitet werden.

Sauberkeit hätte etwas besser sein können (z.B. Kamin nicht gereinigt). Frühstück bei 1 Woche Aufenthalt etwas eintönig und die Lieferung von täglich einem ganzen Brot ist zu viel.. Dies kann jedoch nicht geändert werden.
