Chipboard floor, some electrical socket doesn't work, just 2 chairs for 10 beds, no small table tu put something, shower down floor without hanger (you have to go naked), luggage storage very small, stairs unconfortable, plexiglass door, hot room, no clima....

I didn't like IT.

List is endless- room does not have full walls- you can hear 30 other ppl in the hostel all the time. Room does not have key/ does not lock. It's extremely hot as it's under the roof. Lights switch off when you shower or sit on the toilett and don't react to your moves. Upper toilette Has problematic doors- hard to move/ close. No air con on the room and building. Very unwelcoming notes throught hostel. You feel like Intruder. The owner is defensive and treats you like a problem. There is no possibility to leave your luggage when you leave. You have to psy extra. For that price you can get bed in a room in hostel with 9.7 rating. I made wrong choince.

Rude staff and constant loud music

The location was good and the hostel was clean.

Rude staff, surveilance camera installed in kitchen which monitors guests, loud music being played all wakening hours from the restaurant below. The music is heard into the kitchen constantly, which is really annoying because the kitchen is also the only common area of the hostel.

Fast and organised, very good location, pleasant stay

Very generous staff, they will help in any way they can if possible. The facilities are all very good. The kitchen, bathrooms, toilettes, all very practical and they provide clean towels to every guest. It’s a place where mostly young people reside, at least that’s how it was when I was there in the summer. The location is at the very center of Bled where the bus station is so you are able to organise well for eventual trips by buses or shuttles to nearby sights.

Perfect location for exploring Bled, just consider the shower first!

Location was amazing and the room was clean and comfortable.

I didn’t like the shower here - it was awkwardly in the corner of a toilet block with both a door and a curtain. To shower you had to press for water for a set period of time, similar to some public bathroom taps for handwashing. This meant having to constantly keep pressing the button for your entire shower and was very uncomfortable.

Great location for a short stay in Bled

The location of this hostel is fantastic. It is right next to the bus station and a very short walk to the lake. It is a bit further away from the main town of Bled (where you will find all the restaurants and shops), but its only about a 15 min walk away.

I was initially all by myself in a hostel which can accommodate 24 people. There had been a mistake with Booking.com accepting my booking when technically the hostel was closed. This meant that I arrived and there was no one there...I mean no-one! No staff, no other guest. I used the door code provided by the host to access the hostel and my room, and everything was laid out prepared, clean bed and hostel instructions. I didn't meet the host/staff but did have email contact. Being alone made the stay feel like I was in an AirBnB (only with poor WiFi) - but it was a bit weird. On the second night, the hostel had accepted another booking, and a man joined...in the same room! I appreciate that's what happens in shared dorms - but I was not expecting to be ALONE in a hostel with just one other stranger. I felt uncomfortable. I had intended to stay another two nights, but I didn't. The following morning I packed and left, and returned to Ljubljana for 2 extra nights. This was not something that was completely the hostels fault - but knowing the situation they could have informed me via email in advance, giving me a chance to potentially look for alternate accommodation in Bled.

Small and expected, loud burger place

Good location easy to traverse from, small property and nice room and beds, used the coffee machine and kitchen. Not the most high end place but that was expected.

The hostel is located above a burger place that played country music every night until 11pm which could be heard from the kitchen and bedroom as the windows needed to be open because of the heat.

The hostel is clean and in good general condition. All of the staff members we met were friendly and helpful. The overall location in Bled is great since it is close to everything you need, from shops to restaurants and also the lake. There is a very nice porch by the kitchen to have a coffee in the morning or a drink at night and play cards.

However, if being near the lake is an advantage, standing in a very busy street and above the mountain activities agencies makes the hostel noisy. If you are going to sleep in the main / cheapest dormitory as I did, expect to be awake as early as 6:30 - 7 am, when the town starts getting busy. It is quite difficult to feel comfortable in the hostel, there is a certain lack of space and important amenities: no lockers for bags or valuables, not much place to dry the towel or clothes, no cooker in the kitchen (although you will find a microwave and an espresso machine), little space between beds and few showers so they get very busy... I have enjoyed my stay but for the reasons listed above, the value for money isn't the best and the three nights I spent there ended up a bit tiring.

Pleasant

Location next to the bus stop is both good and bad - nice to be close but you hear everything at all hours of the night, 1am, 3am street cleaners, 4 -5am people coming home for the night, etc… no air conditioner seems normal, bathrooms are extremely small- too small. You are touching the side of the bathroom stall when just sitting on the toilet, you cant walk behind someone in the bathroom while they are at the sink- there isn’t enough room.

Great location! The kitchen was a nice space and I liked that there was a coffee machine too. Nothing special about the rooms, but nothing bad too.

The garbage situation was a bit confusing -- bins for compost, paper, and plastic, but didn't know where to put trash/glass so I brought it with me into town to throw away.

Location, small, Quiet and clean. Wonderful to just get off a bus and be able to check in and leave luggage. So often you are dragging around baggage looking for your lodging. This was great!

They won't store bags after early check out. It is a service most people provide and is much appreciated.

This is about as close as you can get to both the Bled bus stop and Lake Bled without actually sleeping at the bus station. It's a cozy little place where cleanliness is a high priority and there is a strong wi-fi connection. Anything you would want or need is just a short walk away. I would have definitely stayed longer if my schedule allowed me to.

The location was perfect. Not far from the train station or the lake. Perfect place to stay if you are a large group. The burger place just below, was so delicious and below you will also find a place where you can go on fun tours around Bled.

There was no locker to lock your things in. We stayed 2 people in a 4 man room. We had backpackers bags with us and would have liked to have locked them in. The communal baths were also cold and there wasn't as much pressure on the water if you were several people taking a bath at once.

Great location, great hostel and a great host. The host gave me lots of useful information about the area, where and what to visit, and the hostel was clean and felt like at home. The hostel is located in the middle of Bled, the lake is 5 minutes walk and all the resraurants are very close to it. Definitely recommend the Bus Station Hostel!

Great location, great staff, great everything.

Amazing location right next to the main bus stop and pick-up point for many of Bled's activities. The staff was very accommodating, continuously ensuring we had everything we needed. The hostel provided plenty of free coffee, the kitchen was well-equipped, and the room was quite nice as well.

Although the wifi was fine in the common rooms, it did not reach our dorm. The only towels provided were quite small, which could be a problem if you haven't brought your own. Just something to keep in mind.
