Travellers' Haven Hostel

A great little hostel run by the lovely Colleen, who I get the impression has seen that, done that and bought the T-shirt more times than you’ve had hot dinners but still manages to be kind and hospitable regardless! She’s truly the heart and soul of the place. Less than 5 mins from the bus station and lake, and a supermarket on the doorstep - no issues here at all. Bathrooms/showers were clean and kitchen was well stocked. There was air con in the dorm and bunk beds were comfortable. I’m over 40 and slightly allergic to ‘party’ hostels - this place was pretty calm and didn’t have that vibe at all, thankfully

Nothing! It was great for a nights stay in Bled, walking the Juliana Trail

The host, Colleen, was amazing!! Great facilities and so friendly. Makes everyone feel welcome and gave great advice on places to see in the area. There’s always a group of guests surrounding Colleen as she helps them get comfortable and explore lake bled! Super clean facilities as well.

Colleen is an amazing host. She takes care of all her guests and has created such a lovely atmosphere here, providing recommendations to make sure everyone knows where to go to have the best time in Bled. Kitchen facilities are very nice and highly functional. Comfortable beds.

Bathrooms and showers are somewhat cramped

Both rooms and common areas are quite small. I did find people to hang out with in the kitchen and on the balcony, but they are both very small, and in the middle of people cooking, so not ideal for hanging out (which is one of the main things for me in hostels).
