The perfect stay in Bled – exceeded all expectations

We would definitely recommend staying here. The building is beautifully maintained, both in the common areas and the rooms. Everything is spotless and very well organized. The staff are absolutely lovely – super helpful, always ready to explain how everything works and what to see in town. The location couldn’t be better: just 3 minutes from the lake, right under the castle, close to a supermarket and with plenty of restaurants nearby. Parking is available on request for an extra fee, which is very convenient. Honestly, I can’t think of a better place in Bled at this price point. It exceeded our expectations by far. Although it’s a Youth Hostel, the atmosphere is calm and respectful, with a lot of care taken to make it comfortable for everyone. The rooms have lockers, and both the beds and pillows are excellent, they felt brand new.

The only thing we would suggest is to make it clearer from the start that this is a Youth Hostel with an age limit (18–45). At the moment, it only appears in the fine print, which can be a bit confusing. It would be more transparent to include that in the main description or even the title. That said, we would absolutely recommend this place without hesitation.

Everything was cool! Maybe the lack of a kitchen is the only thing that gets this hostel away from the 10. Clean, the Staff is GREAT. The room was fine.

Nice stay near the Bled lake close to the castle and city view.

The setup of the hostel was good, had very helpful reception, was old but neat.

Soap dispenser in washroom was jammed and not working properly. Towels for rent was small in size.

Bad maintenance of the place, good location

Location

I can not store my stuff because they didn't give me the key of the wardrobe. They said it was broken. Then I had to leave my stuff without protection in an 8 people room. It was too expensive for an 8 people room and one bathroom. They obliged me to pay them in cash.

Super bien situé en plein cœur du village de Bled. Personnel très à l'écoute et accueillant. Proposant toujours son aide pour nous accompagner dans l'organisation des activités aux alentours. Chambres propres et bonne literie. espace commun spacieux et propice aux rencontres entre voyageurs 👍
