Perfect stop for a night in Bled

The staff were so friendly and helpful when I got delayed arriving. The room was perfect - it had everything I needed, including a hairdryer and mini shampoo. The location is handy for everything including the bus stop. Breakfast is a buffet with bread, fruit, vegetables and freshly cooked eggs.

The only downside was that the bed was so squeaky! Rolling over woke me up, and probably those in neighboring rooms!!

Peaceful, clean and well located!

As a solo female traveler, I couldn’t have felt more at peace during my two night stay here. The sisters are warm, kind and truly make you feel at home. It was so clean, which I really appreciated after coming from a hostel. My room had everything I needed, and the breakfast was lovely, with homemade cookies and scrambled eggs just the way I asked for them. In short, highly recommended if you’re looking for a peaceful stay in Bled 🥰 It was super easy to walk from there to all the main points around the lake.

Marijin Dom, a gem by Lake Bled

Marijin Dom is an amazing place, a real gem. It's quiet, peaceful and yet very close to the lake and church (so not far from the castle). As a retreat, it is a beautifully peaceful place and the rooms for a single traveller were exceptional. Breakfast was more like a banquet with a huge selection on offer and a sister on hand to cook eggs freshly should you desire. While I was there, Taja and Sister Damjana went above and beyond to make sure I had a wonderful stay. I would thoroughly recommend Marijin Dom and will definitely return when I visit Bled again.

Lovely host

Excellent location, close to to the bus station and the lake. Everything was clean and the breakfast was good. What I love the most is how accommodating Sister Daniela was when I requested for an early check in and an early breakfast. I would love to stay there again. 😊

Everything was perfect! Sister Danijela was very kind, suggested places to visit, local dishes to try. It was spotless clean and the breakfast was the best. They make amazing jam of peaches!

A good room for a solo traveller for a great price(hard to find, you often pay for two or end up in a shared room (hostel)) Friendly and very helpfull Sister Danijela is amazing! It is a quiet place were you can rest, a good base to explore Bled and surroundings from. Near the bus station. Breakfast is great.

Lovely place to stay, with exceptional hospitality from the host.

The host of the Monastery was exceptionally lovely and kind in helping us settle in. We got into the place just before a very big storm hit the area, and she did everything she could to make sure we had everything we needed. The rooms had everything we needed including private bathrooms, and the beds were very comfy. Highly recommend this place, thank you again to the host!

Really friendly and helpful staff that served a great breakfast with homemade products. Possibility to borrow sports equipment and play table tennis. Big, great bathroom and good storage options despite the small room.

The room was a little small and got warm which is hard to combat during heated days, it might have been better with a fan in the room.

Quiet area and clean spacious room. Very friendly staff and very accommodating. Simple and stress free bag storage also on day of check in and check out.

Sister Danijela ihe loveliest, most helpful, kind person who makes you feel at home straight away. Although it was raining at Lake Bled the whole time, staying at the retreat made it special still. The breakfast is super tasty and full of different options and home made bread. I would 100% return! Many thanks again for your wonderful hospitality Sister Danijela!

It was a perfect place to stay. Sister Danijela was really nice and helpful. The place was really clean and comfortable. The location is good, you have shops and restaurants at 5-10 min. walking distance. The breakfast is also very good and the home made breade was delicious. We will definitly stay there if we return to Bled.

Lovely place in Bled with positive energy

Sister Daniela was a very helpful, nice, and warm host, and the room was clean, and comfortable and gave me a pleasant short stay in Bled. The location is very convenient, close to the lake, and all the other things were great (parking, breakfast, check-in/out process). I will come again for sure! This place is just excellent. Location is top! Breakfast is amazing. The nuns are so friendly. The place is spotless. The beds are comfortable. A five star hotel is nothing compared to this place.

Convenient enough for last minute booking

Booked fairly late (just one night) after a flight cancellation, and did the job. A convent with some summer availability. A little off the beaten track but still close enough to the town, the northern side of the lake and to many sights.

No complaints. A convent so not for everyone's tastes, but I slept thru the morning services so no probs :)

incredibly clean, quiet and tidy, wonderful breakfast! sister Daniela was so helpful and knowledgeable about the area. this place is a gem, I can’t wait to return here again. it’s so quiet but only 5 mins walk from bars and restaurants and 10 mins from lake bled. there is also a supermarket nearby.

I had one of the best nights sleep here. The room is basic but with everything you might need and Danijela was great at communicating beforehand about things to do around Bled. Lovely breakfast with home made butter and private parking. Thankyou for a wonderful stay
