Nice place to stay close to lake bled

The staff Is so polite and helpful! The inn is located close to the lake, it's on a hill, but not far. There are restaurants around the lake. I went by car and there was parking.

My room didn't have a view, the window was one of those small ones, but I knew it in advance.

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay there.

Peter, the owner, was welcoming and on hand to answer queries at breakfast time. The property was conveniently placed in a quiet area, not far but slightly uphill from the lake. It was finished to a high standard in an alpine style. There was a good choice of hot and cold items for the self service breakfast with eggs cooked to order.

Comfortable stay in Bled

Great location, close to the lake (5 min walk). Also very close to supermarket and restaurants. Staff is very helpful. Rooms are super clean and spacious. Breakfast was amazing.

We were welcomed warmly upon arrival and provided an overview of Bled. The property is in a great location with a convenient walking path that puts you at the lake. Nice to have free parking on site.The room was clean and comfortable with a nice balcony. Breakfast was great with lots of options and cooked to order eggs.

Perfect pension!

Absolutely perfect, cannot recommend this place enough. Peter and his wife are wonderful and they made everything for our stay perfect. Bled is stunningly beautiful and so is this pension. The breakfast was delicious and Peter even made us scrambled eggs. We will be back!

The owners were friendly and welcoming. The property is very well situated, at about an 8 minute walk through the little streets to Lake Bled. The room decor was charming. Clean and extremely comfortable. Enough parking spots for ease of mind.

Great place, close to lake and restaurant’s.

Great place to stay, owners and staff were welcoming, friendly and helpful throughout. Perfect location, set back approx 5 min walk from lake, on a very quiet local road. Single room doesn’t have its own balcony but there is a communal balcony for use. Very clean. Good choice of breakfast options, hot and cold.

Could do with a long mirror in the room, otherwise perfect.

2 small points: usb sockets didn't work with my phone, and some mechanical ventilation would have been useful. But these are minor issues.

We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful guest house just a few mins walk from the lake in a quiet location. Our room and all communal areas were exceptionally clean and well presented and our room was refreshed every day. We had everything we needed in the room including a fridge, juice on arrival, kettle and umbrella. The balcony was a lovely place to sit and enjoy the view.A plentiful breakfast is also included in the price. Peter was extremely helpful and friendly with lots of advice about the area and I would highly recommend staying here

Great location in beautiful Bled

Very comfortable, clean, light and airy. Great welcome from Peter the owner who was extremely helpful enabling us to make the most out of our 2 days in Bled. Peaceful location suited us - just a short walk from the centre of town and weekend visitors. Would definitely recommend

Nice property. Room seemed a tad small in size. Bathroom was ok. The lawn outside was a refreshing change.

Location - it’s kind of located slightly uphill and not on, or close to the lake front. If you have a lot of luggage and are relying on public transportation, then there is a good 15 minute walk to the property on a steep road.

“Not just a good place and room, but really a great one”

Pension Kaps is a solid choice for travelers seeking a very good located, comfortable, and reasonably priced accommodation in Bled lake. Our overall experience was positive, particularly regarding the hotel's location, the architecturally interesting layout adding to the charm. and value for money. More specifically, the hotel's location is one of its standout features. It's within walking distance to the lake, making it easy to explore the area. We booked on a spacious top floor room with a big bathroom noted for its cleanliness and comfort. Modern amenities like adjustable air-conditioning, flat-screen TV, comfy beds, coffee machine with capsules was available, etc. Of course, we should mention the excellent breakfast that ticks all the boxes! Peter is a really good host very friendly and clearly cares about the place. I would definitely recommend it. Free parking is available on site.

I just love this place. The staffs have been super friendly (they even took time to give me some suggestions for what to do in Bled), the rooms were clean and well furnished. Breakfast was great too, I had quite a number of choices.

I can't recommend this place enough. I travel often and prefer places that feel like home. Peter and his wife are wonderful hosts. The room was very spacious and very clean. I was in Bled for a week exploring the area and the location was perfect. Breakfast was varied and fresh. I would love to stay again whenever I get back to Bled.
