Overall a very nice stay

The host was very kind and the room was clean. The hotel is located just outside Bled, I would recommend going only if you have a car. There is a nice and easy hike that starts just outside the hotel and reaches the lake in 30 minutes.

The parking is on public road, it is free but in the evening it might be difficult to find a free spot. When I arrived in the late afternoon, it was easy to find a spot. During the evening, there was some kind of musical event in a nearby facility and the parking lot was full.

Unfortunately we did not enjoy our stay

The room seemed like it was fairly recently renovated. The owner changed our room as soon as we complained about the noise in the room. About 7 minutes drive from the lake. Free and easy parking in front of the B&B.

There was a loud noise in our originally assigned room due to 2 AC units placed at the balcony of the room. Our new room had its own problems: the bathroom door would not fully close; the "blinds" were see through (!), not only letting in lots of light but also making us feel exposed to people from the nearby houses; despite the fact that the room seemed generally clean, there were many tiny flies around the headboard of the bed (which was 2 twin beds put together, not a double bed); the head of the bed was also under a very low ceiling, so we ended up sleeping with our heads where the feet should be, as we were afraid to bang our heads in the middle of the night; finally, the sound insulation wasn't great and we heard people making lots of noise outside the room from early in the morning (though we couldn't sleep anymore anyway due to the light). We were quite relieved to leave.

Good Stay!

We had a 1 night stay here. It had everything we needed. We had a rental car and there was a free parking spot down the road. The host also suggested a free parking spot for during the day that was a bit closer to Lake Bled but still a walk away, but this saved us spending a lot on parking fees.

Would stay again for sure!

It is a very nice guesthouse in the building that is 165 years old. You need to walk for about 30 minutes to get to the lake but for me it wasn’t an issue since I love to walk. The village is very peaceful and you can relax away from crowds of people. The owner is very helpful and he will tell you about the things to see in the village and will help with all your questions. You can relax on the balcony with a nice view after a long day ☺️

Great location and exceptional service. Denis, the host, is knowledgeable about the area and made excellent recommendations which turned out great because I went to Lake Bled and ended up in a ski resort. There’s still a lot to explore and I would like to go back again. I highly recommend! 😄 ♥️Ricky♥️

Perfect stay when exploring Bled, well connected with buses and the host of the BnB was super kind and helpful.

The facilities were great, comfy bed and the balcony was great in the evenings. Gregor the host was so friendly and helpful, and gave us many recommendations for good walking trails and less touristy beaches.

It was a little far from Bled to walk everyday for us, but this wasn’t really an issue as the bus stop was right outside the property, and the buses were relatively frequent. Just be prepared for the buses to always be late

Wonderful accomodation for a couple of bikers

We loved how well we were received. We arrived with high-end bikes and they stored them safely. Nice surroundings to go for a walk in the morning. It has an excellent restaurant 20 minutes walking from the accomodation. We also liked a lot the house, very beautiful. The beds were super comfortable and the breakfast had everything to start the day strong.

The shower had a small leak, but still, we loved the accomodation.

Very clean room in a renovated old house, comfortable bed, quiet location, reasonable internet, super-clean bathroom. Spent the evening in the downstairs restaurant right next to the warm tile stove, so a pleasant experience.

The cheapest place in town, quiet and definitely worth the money. The scenery is also amazing.

The host is super friendly and easy to communicate with. The rooms are basic and completely enough - clean and tidy. For the type of active holiday we had it was exactly what we looked for. We stayed with a baby and the price for our 2 nights was extra low compared to more central locations, and it was only a 5 minute drive to Bled. It pays of to get breakfast as well - coffee is included in the price and it's super tasty.

The bed is not double bed but two regular sized mattresses fitted into one double sized bed. We had a problem to sleep with the baby in-between but we sorted it out with an extra blanket fitted inside the hole.

Excellent affordable stay near Bled

Had a very stay at B&B Rot. It has a nice rustic feel in the small town of Bohinj. Its located few kilometres on the outskirts of Bled town, best mode would be to go by car. Alternatively, there is an hourly bus and the stop is right in front of the house. Its one of the oldest guesthouse in Slovenia. The owners were very nice, spoke fluent English and extremely friendly. Parking is across the street and free (during daytime, it is max for 2 hours; during night, its allowed from 7pm to 7am and if the parking timer is kept at 7am, then you can park upto 9am). Alternatively, the owner also gave a free parking spot behind the house but we preferred the public free parking. Breakfast was basic but good. Excellent coffee. Good,clean, newly renovated rooms. Free Wifi. We got the room with balcony view. Has heating in room.

Breakfast options could have more items(example: eggs, warm items such as porridge).
