Villa Pomona

This beautiful house feels luxurious! The staff, one lady in particular whose name we didn't catch, was so friendly and kind. You can tell she wants to ensure the house is well cared for, and she goes the extra mile to make her guests comfortable. There's a Nespresso in the room, and it was great to have an excellent espresso every morning right on our beautiful balcony (they never forgot to refill it, either!). Add to this, we had the pleasure of dining at the Adora restaurant (walkable past the waterfront of Lake Bled), which Villa Pomono coordinated for us. We were in Slovenia for 8 days, and our two days here were memorable for the kindness of our hostess, the beauty of Bled, and the fantastic 5-course meal at Adora. I highly recommend this spot!

I loved my stay at Villa Pomona! The house is lovely, just 3 rooms so very quiet. It was very comfortable, with lovely decor and the small details added to the charm. I didn't get to use the pool as I was generally out exploring (& it rained the one afternoon I planned to sit by the pool), but the gardens are lovely and peaceful. The location is fabulous - just a 5 min walk to the central bus station and shops, and a few extra minutes walk down to the lake.

Nothing! It was on the pricier side, but I think that places in Bled (especially close to town/lake) tend to be.

The house was a bit dark and showed signs of wear and tear, particularly in the bathroom and some parts of the room. It was difficult to get in touch with the owner, and the host who welcomed us spoke very poor English
