Excellent stay for a good price!

Arrived at 6pm on a Sunday in February when the restaurant and many other places were closed. Young chap on reception kindly checked me in and gave me option of a local restaurant that would still be open for me to dine at that evening. Accessing room was easy with pin and using keypad. Room 102 (first floor) was large with excellent view across the latter half of bled towards the monastery with a large open doorway and balcony. Bed was comfortable too with good selection of toiletries and shower unit provided in the bathroom (no bath). Location is 5 minute walk away from Bled Jezaro station. The hotel sits on the quieter side of the lake which is much better I think, as your also closer to the island in the middle for photos. Fewer people, traffic and noise! Breakfast was amazing. Excellently presented with the restaurant/dining area overlooking the lake below - what a view! Staff waitering explained could order anything from the menu and I did! So tasty and I strongly regret not delaying my taxi pick up the following morning so I could make the most of the experience again.

Breakfast being served from 07:30 felt a bit late, a start of 7am would have suited better, Do be aware in the winter/low season options for evening dining are very limited at this end of the lake. Bled itself does offer lots by comparison but is a 30 minute walk away, albeit a safe and very pretty walk - even at night!. Yes, the hotel does have a restaurant but has select days it is closed, and even then when open gets booked up early (and encourages 3 course meals as standard for a fine dining experience). I did have problems connecting to the internet initially. Could not obtain IP address, as I went down to reception it suddenly connected, and without further issue connecting with the exception of short 5 minute drop out the following evening.

Its a bit of a walk from center of Bled prepare to take a hilly walk..pricey fare if taking a taxi to go in the center

Great scenic snd cozy stay

It was clean, the view was great and the staff was professional. The interior is cozy and it right next to the train station so you can easily plan day trips.

Grocery stores are on the other side of the lake so you'll need to walk a bit in case you need anything.

Peaceful, clean hotel with great service and beautiful view.

Both breakfast and dinner were great. High quality food, very competent and friendly staff. The Bled lake is just 10 min walk from the hotel. We travelled with our dog and they had left bowls for food and water for him, as well as some treats. It goes to show attention to detail and care for the hotel guests.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Lovely room (101) with seating area looking at lake. Stunning view!! Lovely dining room with unbeatable view of lake too. Breakfast very good, cooked to order, not stale food in hot buffet trays! We didn’t have dinner but the menu looked good. Decor of whole place very nice, gentille country house vibe, very serene and calm. Pool and sauna also a very relaxing area.

Captivating view and delightful experience

The breathtaking view was more than I could have imagined. I greatly enjoyed the restaurant, and the staff was very accommodating and helpful. The onsite pool and spa was an added bonus. I enjoyed every moment of my stay. Everyone was very generous with their English, which I greatly appreciated.

The timer on the lights in the hall (which are motion activated could be extended so they don't shut off on you while you are waiting on the elevator and such. I left for my flight before the front desk had arrived and I had trouble getting the door to open (but perhaps it was operator trouble.) Fortunately I was able to give my door code to the driver and he was able to open it for me from the outside.

We really enjoyed our stay here!

Everything was perfect. The view from the room was beautiful, and the breakfast was delicious. The staff was nice and friendly and the room was comfortable. I would highly recommend this place especially for someone, who prefes the older more rustic, vintage design over the new modern minimalistic design.

Amazing, definitely coming back.

Amazing hotel with incredible views over Lake Bled. The staff were all super friendly, the included breakfast was delicious and you could order as much as you wanted which is great. The spa area was clean and never too busy. Room was comfortable, warm and the balcony (I had a lakeside) was perfect for sitting and taking in the beautiful surroundings. The hotel was situated on the other side of the lake to most amenities but as I only had a small rucksack with me it wasn't a problem for me to arrive via bus into Bled and take the 30 minutes walk around the lake to the hotel. The hotel is next to one of the train stations so I'd recommend arriving by train or taxi if you have larger bags, but for me the walk meant I got to explore more of Bled than perhaps I would have if I were staying nearer to the main tourism area. Thank you v much to the hotel team, I hope to be back!

Charming old world boutique hotel

Bohemian boutique hotel with rich history, hosted esteemed guests like austro Hungarian crowned prince Franz Ferdinand, positioned in the quiet part of the lake Bled.With absolutely amazing staff and top notch Michelin star restaurant,period furniture and decor.We loved the view from the room,as well as the one of the best 9 course dinners we had while in Slovenia.

The room was a bit dated , terrible cushions with literally no support. Bedsheets old and of low quality.Although bathroom was functional it was bit dated too.The hotel was a bit deserted no atmosphere at all.We asked staff to lit the fireplace in the drawing room,our request was denied stating they only do it from middle of November?!?? The hotel is run with minimal workforce which sometimes could be a problem if you wish to enjoy a quiet drink or food in an unattended area.

This property is conveniently located close to Bled train station. Staff is very sincere to offer advice to international travelers. Meal is good & has wide selection, with good sauna & swimming pool usage.

The only downside is its location not close to town, for those who don’t drive a car. Nevertheless, it is not easy to get lost in Bled, given that it is a small town.

Perfect stay!

Loved everything about it! The peaceful location (the opposite side of the hustle and bustle in the centre of Bled), the staff, the restaurant (Michelin 2025), the history, wall decorations, furniture, atmosphere, etc. and the magnificent view through the window to the snowy mountains and to the church island of an upgraded room!

Best hotel in Bled!

Excellent vintage property! Very beautiful and well maintained. The location is one of the best to get a great view of the island in Lake Bled. The spa facilities are top notch! The restaurant prepares world class local delicacies and serves them Michelin style. Very courteous front desk and restaurant staff. Regret staying for just 1 day. Will definitely come back next time.

I was very fortunate to be able to find accommodation in this very special, one of a kind experience. Truly elegant.

The location was excellent and the facilities were clean. They have a great pool and sauna. The restaurant has excellent five star food. I booked at the last minute in the very height of tourist season so the only room I was able to get was 10 ft.². And it was very fine, very clean. The location is way high up on a hill so if you want to walk into town for dinner, although it is possible, it’s quite a haul climbing back up a huge hill and very far to walk. So taxis are necessary if you have not rented a car. Be warned that while the restaurant has an excellent view and is a high-quality restaurant, with amazing food, it is not a ‘typical’ restaurant where you can sit down and order whatever you want off the menu. It is a minimum 4 to 9 course fixed dinner menu. And quite expensive. Very nice for food aficionado’s, not the average tourist. They do not make that clear in their marketing materials. This is a very unique and special place and it’s obvious since they’ve been in business for over 100 years that they have a very fond and loyal clientele. A very special touch for a wonderful holiday experience.

I would suggest clearly explaining your restaurant’s fixed menu. I suggest making it clear to your guests what kind of restaurant it is and the quality of menu because it’s very far away for someone to be able to walk into town and try to make it back at night should they prefer different dining experience.

A refined hotel with rxcellent breakfast

View from the balcony and nice swimming pool and sauna.

Quite far to walk to a restaurant, and to get a taxi back at night can be tricky, the hotel restaurant was full for dinner, we didn’t know we had to reserve in advance. Would recommend that they always keep tables for hotel guests as we didn’t have a car and there is nothing close by.

Best hotel in Bled according to locals I met (I agree :-))

The staff was always present and helped me out many times (service, reception). I never saw Housekeeping, but they did an amazing job as well. Location is perfect - you can walk 30 minutes to the Center of Bled, but you are 5min from the lake and have a fantastic view of the island. Not from the single room, but I didn't mind as the price was affordable and I benefitted from the swimming pool and yummy breakfast. I recommend the oatmeal with fresh fruit. Locals told me that Triglav is the best hotel in town. Hotel with a long history. Kettle in the room was really appreciated and used a lot.

It’s a little bit out of town around 5-8 min walk from the lake. Amazing location and the view is fantastic. We really enjoyed the restaurant both for the breakfast and one evening for dinner. Super sweet staff.

For a superb holiday, stay at Hotel Triglav!

The building is charming, and speaks of ages past, which is what I wanted. The view from the dining room is stunning. One is at the end of Lake Bled where the island is located (with the church on it). I had a massage that was top-notch. The dinner was superb! One can choose to have between four to eight courses from a set menu created by a very talented chef and his team. Breakfast was delectable. The staff are most attentive.

I was in one of the attic level bedrooms, which means it was quirky. I did not have a view of the lake but I did of the sky. The hairdryer was next to the toilet. These are the things that make a trip unique and jolly!
