Cosy stay

Our stay was fantastic! Staff is friendly and helpful, rooms are super cosy and location is superb - walking distance to lake Bled, restaurants, cafes and main bus station. The view from our room was so nice, the villa is surrounded by Julian Alps. Also breakfast was great 👍🏼

Perfect place for a family vacation in Bled.

Our room was spacious, super warm and comfortable. Kids loved the bunk beds! The terrace is large and hotel location is perfect to explore Bled on foot. The hotel is charming and beautiful!

Cute hotel, a shame about the smoke blowing right into the window.

The room was really cute and the staff was nice. The restaurant downstairs is lovely too.

I sleep with the windows open and I woke up on my first morning with my room full of smoke. There's a workshop next door where they burn wood all day and the chimney is directly opposite the room's window. I asked to change rooms to the other side of the hotel but they said there were none left. When I got back to my room that night, I realised just how bad the smoke was - I'd closed the window that morning when I woke up, and the room smelt very strongly of smoke, including the pillows, bedding, all my clothes. I really didn't want to sleep in the room like that, but hotel reception is only open until 8pm and I'd gotten back to the hotel at 9pm so there was nothing I could do. It was unfortunately a very uncomfortable night and my eyes were watering from all the smoke. It's also very loud - you can hear everything, particularly in the room above. I brought earplugs though so it wasn't so bad.

This charming and rustic old hotel is a delightful place to stay. Our room, located on the 3rd floor in the attic, offers a view of the lake, island, and castle. The hotel is situated in a quiet area, just a 5-minute walk from the lake. There’s also free parking available. The staff is friendly and personable. The restaurant is fantastic, so make sure to reserve a table. Breakfast is a good option, with cold cuts, cereal, and eggs.

Beautiful stay at Lake Bled

Absolutely beautiful family room with a view right in the heart of Lake Bled. Steps to the lake and a bunch of great restaurants. The restaurant on the property was wonderful. Staff at the hotel were lovely. We had the most wonderful stay.

Great location, lovely breakfast and friendly staff

The room was very comfy, with a nice bed and a small but adequate ensuite bathroom. The breakfast was lovely - lots of options including soya milk plus freshly cooked eggs. The staff were really helpful, and let me check in a little early on a miserable wet day! They also let me store my bags after I'd checked out. The location is great, not far from the lake and all the shops/restaurants.

There's a kettle and coffee in the room, but no tea. The shower head didn't really stay in place, which was frustrating!

A pretty guest house with rustic charm

The property is in the old part of Bled in a small road with no traffic but only 5 minutes walk from the lake. The Old Bled Cellar is part of the property and an excellent place to eat.

The noise within the building. It’s all wood and the people in the room above us seemed to walk around noisily constantly. There is no common seating area so relaxing wasn’t relaxing because there was no where quiet to go. There was nothing asking residents to be aware that noise carries when floors are wood.

Pampering retreat in magical Bled

Everything, the staff was very friendly, there is a restaurant on-site (but do not worry about night noise) - it closes around 22:00-ish. We stayed in the 2-bedroom appt - loved how spacious it was. The beds vere above-average comfortable. Blankets, pillows - great quality.

Lovely stay with amazing staff members

The location is amazing, there is parking on site and the hotel looks lovely. We had breakfast in the morning, it had quite a few options and lactose free/vegan milk. Can’t wait to come back!

Although everything else was 10/10, as the building itself is very old, walls are quite thin so you can hear the neighbours if they are being noisy or loud.

Great stay exceeded expectations.

All the staff were very welcoming and super helpful and went out of their way to give us local tips. The room was lovely with good ac (very hot weekend) which had been thoughtfully turned down prior to our arrival so the room was lovely and cool. Appreciated the fridge to keep our drinks cool. Altho we didn’t use them the SOS kit on each floor with all sorts of emergency toiletries was a lovely idea. Breakfast was really nice with lovely homemade cakes and cookies and as well as the cold buffet eggs were available to order. 5 minutes walk in to town, 5 minutes from the bakery and lots of restaurants nearby. The lake is beautiful and we hope to return for longer soon.

Lovely rooms, central location and lovely staff

Very central, lovely beautiful rooms and friendly staff

Main thing would be the noise proofing, could hear the guests above us a lot during the night which made it harder to sleep - no block out curtains either so if you want to lie in bring an eye mask! Unfortunately the restaurant was closed and we were excited to try it! Understandably though, as they were doing restorations, will definitely be back in the future to try it !

A magical warm and full of character place

A very special place. Full of character in every room. Very clean, comfortable beds. We are delighted we got to stay in such a magical place. It’s very close to restaurants 2 to 3 minute walk. Bus station if travelling by public transport within 2 minutes. Lake bled 2/3 minute walk. A great bakery again stones throw away. Even our teenagers were impressed! We had 3 nights and would return here without hesitation.

Cute, but hot (no aircon as advertised) and unhygienic

The decor was very lovely, with a great central location to lake bled. In addition, the restaurant by the house had very delicious food and great service.

When we first arrived, we were not greeted by anyone at the reception for approximately 15 minutes. Although the booking clearly stated that there was air conditioning, upon entering the room the air conditioning was disabled, with a note stating that air-conditioning is only turned on from June. This is false advertising. You cannot state the room has air-conditioning, but only make it available for 3 months of the year. It was so hot in the room (even with the window open) that it took us hours to fall asleep. The bed was not clean. We found a lot of hair in the bed (specifically small, pubic sized, hairs), which resulted in us questioning the cleanliness of the room. Upon further inspection in the bathroom, we found more hair on the bathroom floor and an unwashed bathroom mat. We had to use one of our towels in the place of the bathroom mat, because of how dirty it looked. Lastly, you could hear everything going on outside of the room. I appreciate that not much can be done to improve noise isolation; however, if you are planning for a quiet stay, you may be disappointed.
