Great location, gorgeous view, poor upkeep and cleanliness.

Great view from the room, nice size pool and working AC. Host was kind but no one warned us to call before we arrive as they have no permanent staff on site, so we had to wait 10min until someone came and opened for us.

The room looked like it hadn’t been cleaned recently at all ☹️ Dead bugs on the floor, super dusty and old hair in the bathroom drain. Also, the balcony hadn’t been swept at all. This definitely made the stay not so pleasant as my allergies flared up from the excessive amount of dust in the room and just a general feeling of being grossed out and uncomfortable. Makes you question what else hasn’t been cleaned recently. For the price we paid, cleaning with a hoover before having guests stay over is the minimum requirement for decent hospitality. Also, we were alone for the majority of the time but when the cleaner came in the morning we realised how noisy it is if there are other people as the house is old, with wooden floors which creak really loudly.

Wonderful host & stay

Location had a fabulous view. Our host was very friendly & she even took us in her car for a tour of the village. We were given a choice of rooms & use of their kitchen, pool & terrace. Very quiet with 2-3 restaurants in the village. Great for visiting Veliko Turnovo, Emen Gorge & walks.

We only stayed one night but would recommend this property.

Slightly disappointed

The hotel was clean and comfortable, the swimming pool was nice and cold. It has potential to be a really nice hotel, maybe the staff dont like English people. Such a shame, we speak Bulgarian but it was difficult to get a response, we chose to eat out because we felt uncomfortable, my wife is disabled but we walked to a restaurant in the centre, when we planned to eat at the hotel.

Unfortunately we were not made welcome by the staff. The sun loungers were dirty.

Trop sale pour être agréable

L'emplacement en hauteur avec une très belle vue. La gentillesse d'Ivo qui nous a accueilli. Les lits sont confortables.

La saleté extrême de la cuisine mise à disposition; c'est une ancienne cuisine de restaurant qui devrait être impeccable même si le restaurant ne fonctionne plus;. L'odeur de la salle de bain. Il n'est pas difficile de mettre un bouchon plat plastique sur l'évacuation de douche. Le jour du départ, filet d'eau à la douche, certains n'en n'ont pas eu du tout. Le tour de piscine est verdâtre. Il y a du potentiel, mais l'ensemble est trop négligé pour que le séjour soit agréable. F Les chambres sont correctes, mais les minifrigos sont très sales. Le petit déjeuner est typique de Bulgarie, un peu gras. Pas de chocolat ni jus d'orange alors qu'évoqué à l'oral ( 4 euros pour info).
