I would go as far as saying this is the place to stay in Pisa. In terms of the price and the breakfast and facilities, I don’t think it could be beaten. The breakfast was exceptional. I stayed in a single room and it large, clean and comfortable. The shower was great, the bathroom large and they provided toiletries too. Great location, just off the high street and very walkable to the tower. Really nice location.

The bed moved away from the wall when leaning against the headboard but I don’t think the brake was on

Lovely hotel and stay

Really nice hotel. A short walk from Pisa Centrale and then again to the river. 15 minutes to the Leaning Tower/Cathedral etc. I stayed in an an annexe at the back of the hotel and it was nice and quiet. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Good recommendation from reception as to where to eat as I arrived late. All the staff I spoke with were very helpful and friendly.

A more comfortable chair in the room would have worked better - otherwise nothing

Pleasant and good value

The Bologna is a good and reliable hotel that is well located between the station and the river Arno. As I was travelling with my son, I appreciated the manner in which they made available a twin room

Charming older hotel in a great location. Very clean, nice rooms. Breakfast was really good. Daniel at the front desk went above and beyond to help us.

Its ok other than the night club next door. Location to centre is good.

Its a nice enough hotel, friendly staff an ok room with a comfortable bed and breakfast was ok. An old place with character. Its location to the centre of town is good.

Next to the hotel is a night club with an outdoor area where incredibly loud music is blasted until 0100 in the morning. Certainly on a Friday and Saturday night. It is too loud to sleep through and the best the hotel staff can do is offer ear plugs.. If you do stay, I would avoid the rear of the hotel unless you are someone that goes to bed after 0100 in which case its not a problem. It is very loud though.

Perfect for a short break and walking distance from the main station. A further ten minutes takes you across the river and into the centre of Pisa.

Breakfast

If you’re considering staying at this hotel, avoid room 302 like the plague. The only window in the room is a small window on the far right overlooking the balcony of the adjoining room. So no privacy and no view. There is another window at eye level in the shower cubicle with a view of the rooftops of Pisa. But who watches a view from a shower? The furniture is very ordinary, beds are comfortable, headboard in uninviting. The TV is as big as a laptop and perched on top of the wardrobe, so forget about watching TV in bed, or watching TV.. Tee restaurant only serves hamburgers, chicken burgers, two uninspiring pasta dishes and an awful pizza.

Nice hotel and walkable to restaurants and shopping. About 20 minute walk to the tower.

The room was clean but a bit on the small side. Air conditioner was sufficient. Location of hotel was fairly central and walkable to other sites. Buffet Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choices.

We were only there one night. If you stay longer then a larger room would be needed. Lobby is nice. Front desk was helpful.

Location, comfort and air con was great!

We have been upgraded to a suite, but it was not clean - bin had rubbish in, there was a used teabag in the kettle, the cleaning cloths left on the windowsills and half used toiletries. Made us feel like someone popped in, did not like it and left. Did not complain as we were tired and it was late.

The responses of the receptionists in mail exchanges through booking com: My flight was very late and I was anxious about the taxi availability around 2am and unsure how I can get to the hotel. I got almost like AI responses to instruct me to take a public transport from the airport to the central station! There is no public transport around 2am. It was not helpful at all. A word of information, and assurance and an offer of assistance would have made my travel and stay much nicer.

It was ok and hard to tell about value for money!

The staff were very friendly and there is an extremely efficient and regular free transport to Pisa airport. About 20mins walk to leaning tower!

We were kindly given an upgraded room. But it looked from the pictures as if it was the same as the one we had booked but with three single beds and a double! So a bit spooky. Two bathrooms but both with very small shower. Breakfast wasn’t up to much and dining room quite gloomy

Great place to stay in Pisa

The staff were very helpful and welcoming. Loved have a free shuttle to airport and ability to store bags while we wandered.

Our room was noisy and the aircon not very good, but as we were there just one night it didn’t matter. Everything else was great.

Lovely breakfast

I booked for 2 rooms with balconies, was very disappointed that we never got them. Had to change rooms as they were tiny and dark. But the Hotel was immaculate, very clean and bedding changed every day.Staff very helpful. Hotel bedrooms could do with a makeover.
