Welcoming Facilities / Immaculately Clean

I've never experienced such a welcoming hotel. The cozy sitting room with tile-covered stove with carved tables and chairs for a snack or drink was welcoming. Facilities and room was immaculately clean. My single room was positioned that I could hear guests walking up to the top floor, but that didn't bother me. I could hear no T.V or noise from neighboring rooms which is important. Breakfast was top quality with home-made breads and lunch-meat, veggies, hot breakfast, fruit, local honey and jam. The location is quiet and on a scenic walkway.

Very beautiful and cozy hotel with exceptional staff. The breakfast was excellent, and we also had dinner at the hotel — the dishes were absolutely delicious! We stayed for only three nights, but our stay was so relaxing that it felt like a whole week. I’d also like to mention how kindly they welcomed our beloved cat — that was truly heartwarming.

I would book this hotel 100 times over. Very satisfied with my stay. Great value and very modern!

Breakfast was outstanding. E-Bike rental was affordable, easy and great quality! Booked last minute! Located right near the center. Staff were incredibly nice and helpful. Hotel is modern and clean. I booked 5 minutes before arriving (other hotel double booked me, and I was alone with my dog, so….) and I couldn’t have been luckier!! Better location, value, quality, size, facilities (super nice gym and cute sauna)… I was very grateful and pleased. Best find ever :)

Have no negatives but if I was forced to find one, the elevator was kinda scary. Makes abrupt stop/noise but we survived 2 nights of use! Lol It’s totally fine but FYI, it’s small. While alone I used the gorgeous spiral staircase of course but with my large elderly dog, we need the lift.

Everything. The location, the staff, the facilities, the cleanliness of the rooms. The food was brilliant. My attempts at German were clumsy but luckily the staff spoke English (shame on me!). A really beautiful hotel. It is a 5 min walk from the town centre so a bit quieter.

There were no coffee making facilities in the room so I couldn't have a degrumpifying coffee before I left the room in the mornings but the facilities in the rest of the hotel and room were fab

Great few days in a very nice, friendly hotel.

Lovely spacious room, friendly staff. Nice grounds outside. Only a 10 min walk into town. A lovely walk to Lake Forggensee.

Last orders at the bar were at 10 o’clock, it would have been nice to sit outside and finish our drinks outside as it was a very warm evening but we were asked to finish up in a small, hot lounge.

Small Cozy hotel with stunning scenery

What I like the most is the balcony with the Mountain View. it’s fantastic!

As a solo traveler, I would say it’s mostly fine, it was a pity I couldn’t stay at the same hotel for my entire trip, single room a bit tiny but I suppose double room is bigger and more comfortable.

- I had a room with a balcony and it had a view. Perfect. table and chair in the balcony. - Bed was comfortable. - sofa in the room made a great addition. - breakfast was not big, but it had enough. plenty of cold cuts and cheeses. sausages and eggs were always there. some fruit and something sweet. several cereals were available. - staff was very accomodating. - location was perfect for me. 10 minutes walk to the centre and 10 minutes walk to the lake on the other side. there is a passage way close by and it makes it perfect for a little walk or even to take the pathway to the centre.

- nothing to grumble about really..but if I were to mention one things..the pillow was close to nothing, very soft.

A lovely, friendly hotel. Excellent buffet breakfast which caters for young and old. Very nice terrace and garden areas to relax in of an evening. Our room was tidy and well appointed and was an easy 10 minute walk into the town centre. Plenty of car parking space.
