Tolle Lage, direkt am See Super Frühstück

Das Hotel hat eine sensationelle Lage - in zwei Minuten vom Zimmer in den See. Die dazugehörige Liegewiese ist sehr groß und hat einen tollen Spielplatz und einen Kiosk mit Biergarten. Das Wasser ist sehr sauber und recht kalt, da es aber sehr heiß draußen war, war das toll! Zum Hotel: das Frühstück war sensationell gut, es gab tolle Marmeladen und Aufstriche, kein 08/15 Frühstück! Unser Zimmer war sehr komfortabel und schön! Man kann sich prima verköstigen, denn nebenan ist eine sehr gute Pizzeria mit Eisdiele und etwas weiter weg (ca. 15 Minuten zu Fuß) ein weiteres bayrisches Restaurant. Man kann mit dem Rad sehr leicht nach Füssen fahren oder Radtouren zwischen den verschiedenen Seen machen, da alles sehr flach ist und das Radwegnetz sehr gut ausgebaut ist und oft an den Seen entlang geht. Kurz: ich war das erste Mal am Weißensee, aber bestimmt nicht das letzte Mal! Die Gegend und das Hotel sind ein absoluter Traum!

Wir hatten ein Zimmer zur Straße hin und die ist ordentlich befahren. Bei geöffnetem Fenster ist es ziemlich laut, aber die Fenster sind dafür sehr dicht und lassen den Straßenlärm draußen.

Arrived by motorcycle after a very long 5hr journey, we were greeted by Berta who made us feel so welcome and helpful. She showed us our respective rooms which were very clean and comfortable. The view from Room 2 was amazing overlooking the 3 Peaks and the Weisensee lake which was very dramatic. The sitting area for Room 2 was very large and extensive. We stayed for 2 nights and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was very nice indeed with a very good selection of pastries and fruits etc. Berta was on hand and made us eggs to our liking which was lovely. The breakfast area itself was indoors, but some guests chose to sit out on the balcony overlooking the beautiful scenery. There is a pizza restaurant directly next door which serves really nice pizza, however the lasagna was bland and tasteless although the beer was good. We were also provided with bus cards giving us free bus travel for the duration of our stay which we used to travel to Fussen (the local town). Unfortunately we arrived on a Monday and the Fussen castle and museum were closed. Overall, a great stay, just a few niggles that the hotel was a good distance from Fussen and that the evenings were restricted for places to go....just the pizza house next door. Ideal if you have a car, but we didn't fancy going by motorcycle to restaurants etc. A big 'Thank you' to Berta, who made us welcome and nothing too much trouble. Always smiling. Thanks again. Location was the issue, but the trade off was the stunning views which almost, if not surpassed the problem. wish there had been more restaurants in the area, but if you have a car....no worries. Thank you again and will not hesitate to book this hotel if I travel to Fussen.

Close to the famous King Ludwig castle Neuschwanstein.

The road right in front of the hotel can get busy and you need to keep your balcony door shut.
