A lovely traditional guesthouse in a beautiful location.

A lovely traditional independent guesthouse in a beautiful location, overlooking Hopefensee and with views into the mountains. The room was large and comfortable. Breakfast was fine, good choice as expected. There remote location does mean than transport is more difficult. We hired a car for the period of our stay, driving and returning to Munich. A lot of people seem to have bikes or hire bikes for getting around and there are plenty of suitable bike routes in the area.

Nothing to compain about - everything was good.

The internet was really bad Guests next door were arguing at night and it was extremely loud and irritating. The room is not soundproof at all The furniture was shabby Not many things to choose from for a breakfast No water, glasses or kettle in the room

110.50€ a night for a stinky room, you should be ashamed, never again

the location

when I first walked into my room it stunk like cat urine, I went back downstairs to ask for another room ( there were rooms available according to their sign on the front door ) , but the woman behind the desk just send a girl up with some kinda steamer. When I asked the girl what the machine was she couldn’t answer my questions, didn’t speak german and very little english. So now the room spelled like bleach and cat-pee. So my entire stay I had to keep the windows open because of that stench. And with that I got the cigarette stink from the people downstairs coming into my room. There were stains on the bathroom floor, the light above the sink didn’t work, no tissues either. And every other hotel I ever stayed in in the area always had at least a water cooker, they had nothing in the room. The breakfast was the same thing every morning, so after day 3 I was sick of it. Not a very big selection and not even fresh fruits were available, only fruit-cocktail. They offered internet, but it didn’t work for more that 15 minutes at a time for the first two days and after that I couldn’t even get on anymore. Also they charged 13€ per night for my dog and didn’t offer anything for it. At other hotels ( even at lower pet rates ) they put out a dog bed, little treats for the dogs, food bowls, they didn’t offer anything. And this was the highest pet rate I have ever paid. It’s a shame, it could’ve been a very nice stay, but the people who are ruining it, oops I meant running it, don’t seem to care about the customers.

A nice rest to a beautiful land.

Very nice location close to the highway which is very convenient for road tripers. Good environment, traditional rustic German- Austrian decoration and style. Amazing views. Very spacious comfortable and equipped rooms. Good breakfast. Fast check in procedures .fully recommended.

Great location, time to get new towels.

The location is magical, great view of the mountains. It is 6 km out of Fussen so you are away from the hustle and bustle of the town. You will need a car or bikes. The Staff were friendly with little English.

The towels were like sandpaper, the shower is tiny, no soap or shampoo provided

Great location, good food, that's all.

Strange rules in a strange hotel. The reception and the restaurant are open until 20:00, after which everything closes, and if you leave the hotel at this time, you will not get back, because all the doors are closed from the inside. I went out for a smoke and had to return through the window, it's good that the room was on the ground floor! the reception is empty, no one is there. all doors are locked. no minibar and no way to buy water after 20:00

Wonderful stay with exceptional views!

Location was wonderful, staff friendly and cheerful, very accommodating of our lousy language skills. The views were spectacular!

We were over the skip bin so the smell was a little off putting when on the balcony but we booked it very last minute so probably the only room left.

Personnellement ma chambre , en photo ci joint une des applique murale. A moins que la norme électrique allemande soit ainsi , je pense que cela peux provoquer un réel danger pour les occupants de la chambre.

Très bel hôtel mais dans un environnement trop bruyant.

Chambre très spacieuse avec vue magnifique. Personnel très aimable. Petit-déjeuner copieux. Facilité de stationnement . Localisation idéale pour visiter Füssen et les châteaux.

Hôtel à la campagne mais cerné par une voie ferrée ( et sa signalisation très sonore la nuit ) et une autoroute donc nuits très difficiles car les fortes chaleurs nous obligeaient à laisser les fenêtres ouvertes.

Massa car pel que ofereixen, ens van cobrar inclús més que el que vam pactar amb booking i no volien que paguéssim amb targeta de crèdit ( els hi cobraven molt els bancs! ). Ens vam sentir molt malament per pagar amb targeta.

Für einen Kurzurlaub ok.

Die Lage am Hopfensee ist wunderschön. Das Hotel liegt ideal für Ausflüge zum Wandern oder biken. Es hat einen grossen Parkplatz und einen geschlossenen Fahrradraum.

Das Hotel hat die besten Tage sicherlich hinter sich. Man sieht es an der Ausstattung der Zimmer. Leider überall Teppichböden. Mo und Di hat das Hotel geschlossen, das habe ich noch nie gesehen. Das Brot zum Frühstück sind Billigaufback. Am Meisten aber nervt der in unmittelbarer Nähe vorbeifahrende Zug. Er hupt jedesmal mehrfach beim Vorbeifahren von 05.00 bis 22.00 Uhr. (Da kann das Hotel natürlich nichts dafür) Aber es nervt.

Wir waren mit der Unterkunft zufrieden

Das Frühstück ließ keine Wünsche offen. Das Essen im Restaurant ist auch sehr empfehlenswert. Da das Haus abseits liegt und es leider keine Bushaltestelle gibt, ist man auf das Auto oder ein Rad angewiesen. Wir würden aber jederzeit wiederkommen.,

Da das Haus 2 Ruhetage hat, werden leider auch die Zimmer nicht gesäubert. Bei dem Preis, den wir zahlen, war das nicht so schön. Habe ich anderswo auch so nich nicht erlegt. Auch bei Ruhetagen wurden die Zimmer gesäubert.

Tolle Lage, gute Ausstattung, nettes Personal

Der Zug fährt nah am Hotel vorbei, was nicht weiter schlimm wäre, würde er nicht zwei Mal Hupen. Das stört auf Dauer, vor allem bei offenem Fenster zum See raus.
