A lovely and relaxing stay. I would gladly come back again and highly recommend this hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay at Hotel San Marco. The hotel has beautiful views of the lake and the surrounding mountains. It feels peaceful and full of holiday spirit. The receptionist, Mrs. Deniz, was very kind and always ready to help.

The hotel is in the center of Füssen, easy to reach and close to everything. There is parking available both inside and outside the building.

We stayed in the top floor appartment (room 9). The balcony is a proper sun trap in the morning. Not the best view available for the lake but it's a very nice view none the less. The apartment had what we needed, although it could do with an iron and ironing board. Nice modern smart TV. Wifi was ok. The sofa is lovely, very comfy for a nap. Modern and well furnished. The bed is super comfy and there is a fan for those warmer evenings. The window shutters in the bedroom are just awesome! Clean and comfortable. We didn't have breakfast here (a bakery is 3 mins walk) but we did have dinner one evening and the food was good, reasonably priced too. It seemed to be one of the busiest restuarants along the strip. Certainly very popular anyway. Plenty of choices locally otherwise. Staff were nice. Location is great, 20 metres from the lake. 5 mins drive from supermarkets (Edeka and Lidl), 10 mins from Fussen (€18 in a taxi) or 15 mins drive to Schloss Neuschwanstein. Parking garage available but off road parking is plentiful (ticketed €1.50 hr 9am-6pm).

1st world problems but an iron would have been handy. Asked reception and not one available. Parking in the garage is tight, limited spaces too but as above, plenty of parking out front. Otherwise, nothing else not to like.

Very pleasant stay.

Superb view over lake. Staff helpful. Parking in garage was good (seven euros I think). We had our evening meal in the hotel - food was very good. We didn’t sample breakfast. There was a kettle in our room but no tea bags/coffee/milk etc

Absolutely stunning location. We had a balcony room that overlooked the lake, felt like we were staying at a great resort.

Checkin process wasn’t very clear and signage was very poor towards the actual rooms. Checkin was inside the restaurant

The property is located directly above their own Italian restaurant. This made eating there if you chose to very convenient. The food was quite good so we ate there several times. Amy, in the restaurant in the mornings was a delightful person. The facilities were always clean room service was excellent and we enjoyed the patio immensely. I would highly recommend this property.

The only things that I could say, negative at all or parking is somewhat tight and there are several stairs to climb. Neither of these were a great problem.

Awesome Apartment 1 !

Very good location with nice restaurant downstairs and within walking distance to the lake. I was able to enjoy both sunrise and sunset during my stay. Check in and check out was very fast. Apartment 1 is simply the best!

Our experience in Xmas vacation 2 nights

Awesome see view and location. The room which we stayed is on see view and with a very big balcony. The hotel is 8 kms closer to Neuschwanstein castle.

1. Little more care to be taken on cleaning the floor as we could notice dust falling allover. 2. For us, hotel incharge can make sure refilling the toiletteries eg. Toilet paper and handwash, both were over in a day of stay. 3. Car Parking is 5.90 EUR/day, not mentioned in property details but its charged additional. As like Spa tax and Pet charges it should be mentioned in property details and collected.

Nightlight at the right side of the double bed didn't work. The outlet beside didn't work. Two outlets behind the TV didn't work too, that is, the TV itself didn't work either. A few curtains were missing.

the only great thing is the location

the apartment was not very clean, our 1 year old son was playing on the floor and after 5 minutes his clothes were black. Also because the garbage barrel was just behind the apartment, in the garage, the smell was very strong. The two separate beds in the living room are very uncomfortable.

We loved!

We loved the location of hotel. Personal was very kind, we arrived after 9pm and the restaurants and shops in the city were closed so we couldn't get any meal after a long trip. The personal saved us. It was very nice. Thank you. The room was clean, there was a good shower gel&shampoo, pillows and blankets were good.

It was one thing we didn't like - mattress of doubble bed was seperated in 2 mattresses, it was hard to sleep in cuddles. But maybe it is because we are from the country where we don't seperate the mattresses if we sleep in doubble beds :) .

Great lake view, but that's all...

Great lake view to the mountains and room size was ok. But that is all I really liked.

The room is really old fashioned. The armchair was obviously brocken and we had to remove two huge spiders from the walls. At this point I was kind of wondering if the room is cleaned properly, since those are things you would notice. The breakfast very simple and I would rate it not more than fair. But probably we were also spoiled from the breakfast one day before in another hotel, that cost the same but was way better.

furniture in the room was a bit old. the location of the hotel is great if you have a car, but fair if you want to rely on the busses. on the weekend or after 6:15 pm, the public transport options are basically on existent and you need a taxi to get to Füssen.
