Okay!!

The location was excellent, the bed very comfortable and it was clean. Very cute the place.

The receptionist was unbothered, there is no interest on making a good experience for the guests , it doesn’t even matter. Another 👎🏻 is that you can’t enter to the hostel until 3pm, there is no chance on entering to go to the toilet or to leave the luggage’s there while you wait for the check in, when I asked for it they told me to leave my stuff in the train station in a locker , so something to keep in mind ! The rest was good experience.

Good central location but overpriced.

Property has a good central location and was clean.

Never saw a staff member the entire time I was there. Both the shower heads are broken so you have to hold them the entire time. I booked a room with a shared bathroom which I believe was between myself and one other room however multiple females were using it. That’s fine just be clear about it and don’t charge a rate which reflects only two rooms sharing it and state that.

Worth the price but not much more

Well located and easy to access

I’ve never stayed in a hostel that doesn’t have lockers next to the beds??? Also no curtains on the bunks for any privacy, even in co-ed dorms.

Clean, cheap, basic hostel in a fantastic location

great location in a quiet back street of the old town. the hostel was clean, as was the bedding. Perhaps the cheapest place in Fussen, so it's great for people on a budget. The self-check-in means you can arrive at a very late time, without the need for staff. It's only an eight-minute walk from the train station and just five minutes from a supermarket.

I had trouble using the key pad/lock to enter the dormitory room. Its locking mechanism has a delay and seems to reset if you try to open it to soon. I and 3 other guests had problems when first trying to open the lock. It took me several attempts before I could enter the room and 2 other guests had to knock on the door when they arrived late. A simple instruction notice on the door would be very helpful. There is no kitchen, but at the low price, I didn't expect one.

Quiet, cosy and comfy- a good option those who feel shy or inexperienced with staying in hostels

Very clean, ample storage space and bedding, spacious rooms and the lounge was very cosy and inviting. Amazing location, I would definitely recommend.

My dorm was empty (except one other guy) the first two nights, so I was a little confused why were were assigned beds immediately head-to-head, especially when he left before others started showing up. However, despite the slight awkwardness there, I felt very safe and slept well throughout my stay. The fellow tenants were respectful and kept the place tidy. Breakfast also a little expensive (4€ for two slices of toast) but coffee was cheap with efficient, polite service.

Would recommend for budget solo travellers!

The check-in process was fully online and very smooth. The place was quite spacious and is located very close to the Fussen railway station. This makes it ideal for budget solo travellers. They staff were also super kind and helpful with my requests.

Though the bathrooms are female/male only but have only a shower curtain and a transluscent door. I would've preferred a proper opaque door.

Great central location. Good communication with clear instructions. Easy self check in. Clean. A small (self service) bistro on the ground floor. This is a self-everything hostel. You do everything in a self service style. This can be positive or negative, it depends. In the morning, during breakfast time, somebody is around.

We had a single room with bunk beds. The room truly was tiny. Two people can stand next to the bunk beds and that's about it. The shared bathroom/shower is very small. If two people are brushing their teeth, then there is no more room for somebody going to the toilet or the shower.

It has an excellent location and it is in a very nice medievel style Füssen house. The bathroom was clean and the shower was very comfortable, coffe was delicious.

We could only get our Füssen card for discounts on the next day after our arrival, although the card would have been already valid on the day of our arrival, as the staff was only at the Hostel the next morning between 8-10 am. There was no shelf or storage place for clothes and the bunk bed is a good concept if you can utilize the space under it, but since you cannot stand up, it blocks the light and there is no storage area under it, it does not make too much sense. A normal bed or facilities under it would make the room much more comfortable.

Overall clean and great location - but slight privacy issue

The beds felt very clean and comfortable despite an 8-person dorm, and the room had a lovely view out the window. The small cafe area downstairs was very nice with an exciting "poetry wall" filled with English and German words to move around. We loved the location, gorgeous all around with a supermarket and lots of little cafes and shops - and of course Neuschwanstein. It was a ten Minute walk to the Fussen bus stop and train station :)

In all fairness this was my first hostel - however I was surprised that we weren't given a key to the bathroom when it seemed to lock from the inside. We later learned that only the men's bathroom locked?? The bathroom included two showers so I personally found this inappropriate and inconvenient.

I liked the location and it was pretty as well. Staff very kind. It was clean.

The beds don't have privacy curtains. Considering they are mixed dorms, it was really uncomfortable seeing men take their pants off right next to me. Also, there's only 1 bathroom for 8+ women, and the WC is not private so you can imagine how uncomfortable mornings are 💩 Furthermore, the lockers don't work so your stuff is never safe (even though the culture of most guests is OK).

Location was extraordinary. Lounge area was very cozy.

1. As a man, you have to go up one floor to the toillet and on return you must reenter the room code. That might be disturbing in the middle of the night. God forbig to forget the code 😀. 2. Maybe, a micowave it will be good in the lounge.

Good experience

The property is near the neuschwanstein castle and you can take bus. Overall the stay was comfortable and not to much rush. Plates and cups are available with different drinks in the lobby.

The property doesn’t have any kitchen to be used by guests. The city tax is not included in pricing which not good and should be already be put into the offer.

Nice and modern dormitory to explore Füssen area

Very clean dorm in the centre of Füssen old town. Close to bus stop, supermarket and restaurants. The dormitory bed was comfortable, linen was clean, shared bathroom was clean. The communal bar/cafe area downstairs was nice with a fridge and cutlery available, though no cooking facilities. The wifi worked well. The hot shower worked well. Some noise from the street, but was mostly quiet at night. The dormitory felt reasonably secure with keypad lock on main entrance and dormitory door.

Locker with key available but limited (not enough for everyone in the dorm). The tourist tax covers free public transport with the Füssen card, however the receptionist is only available 8-10am to provide the Füssen card which could really impact ability to get away in the morning and meant that we had to pay for public transport on the afternoon of arrival. This card should be ready to give to guests at the time of arrival with details collected before arrival so that this can be provided.

Great location and a pleasant stay!

Great location, really close to the castle. The staff is nice and friendly, the rooms and bathrooms were clean, cozy lounge area, nothing to complain about. Good value for the price.

Just a small thing, but it would be nice to put lockers back in order. And maybe individual curtains for each bed, I keep seeing it more often these days, should be a standard in dorms, imo.

Amazing location right in the middle of the city, spacious rooms, clean toilets and a great common area to relax and hang out with great background music.

Perfect location. Really nice room. We had a room for 8 to ourselves, tight but very nice. The staff lady in the morning was very nice and helpful. The place has a very nice vibe.

The bathroom and combined shower felt really clean, however it got very wet on the floor and maybe some kind of floor mop would be nice so you can leave the floor nice and tidy after showering

Nice and clean place

We made booking 20 minutes before arrival but we got quickly the code to the door. It was enough beds for our family in the room and children loved the beds. The place was in the middle of beautiful city.

Terrible hostel, amazing location

The location is amazing, right in the city center.

It's a self check in/out and there is no staff at the hostel and the front door codes they send you are valid starting 3:00 pm, it's not possible to store your luggage earlier. So they wasted a whole day for us since we were not able to move much with our luggages. There is only one female/male bathroom (each including 1 toilet and 2 showers). So all the males/females in hostel share one toilet. And they even ran out if toilet paper but as mentioned earlier there is no staff to ask them for more toilet paper. The music that was played in the bar was very loud and played all night long (although no one aas sitting there) but no way to control it (again no staff), and we couldn't sleep well because of it. Finally, the room we had was very small with a raised bed, yet very expensive.

Good value for money

Small hostel, newly renovated, in the center of Füssen, walking or bus easily available to visit the Castles and thermal baths. Also close to the river and calming nature. Furniture is comfortable, linen and towel included.

There is no such thing as food or drink service, more like a minibar and some snacks, but there's good restaurants and grocery shops nearby. The lockers are small, fitting only your valuables but not a suitcase for example.

When I had pre paid, I was charged an extra 5 euro fee for taxes upon arrival which isn't noted anywhere on booking. It Felt like a scam and if its real should be disclosed here. Too few bathrooms and while they are marked for men and women anyone used each.
