Clean, good showers, excellent location right in the centre of Fussen. Effective washing machine and dryer - a bit expensive at 12 euros but free powder and change for machines provided at reception

Great budget friendly option for those looking to spend a day maybe two in Füssen

Very centrally located in Füssen. We utilized the common spaces for breakfast because we had an early tour of Neuschwanstein. Close to restaurants and transportation for this who need it.

The showers turn off after 15 secs. They were very clean and well kept. It just made it a bit difficult for the ladies who needed to rinse their hair.

Disappointing. Not very comfortable

Beds rooms are good and the location is great.

They do the absolute minimum for their guests. Usually nobody at reception. Check-in isn't until 4pm so you can't do anything or pick up a guest card until the day is almost over. They can't be bothered to make the bed, forcing you to. The kitchen is a hot box with no windows or ventilation. Power is forcefully cut off during lunch so you can't cook anything. The seating area is just some hallways. Showers on different floors. Check out is a very early 9:30am.

It is right in the middle of the town so you feel part of the life there.

After a long day drive it was good to find the hotel so easily, and to be able to park close by. Although we arrived late there were still places to eat. We would stop there again.

Beautiful place to stay if you don’t mind stairs

No elevators You have to climb lot of stairs to reach their Kitchen is on the top floor Difficult to walk their every time I reported after check in But there was no communication from receptionist They should have given me the Füssen city card on arrival They gave me next day only after I asked them By that time I had already spent money on buses The receptionist also deducted fees without informing me When I asked them during check out they told it’s already deducted

Good location, awkward bathroom sharing

Perfect location. Luggage storage was convenient. Very clean

I tried to cancel the booking in the immediate hours after I booked it when I realized the bathroom is not private. Although our trip wasn’t for another 7 months, cancellation was refused. Last month I received an email from booking.com clearly stating that the hotel was offering free cancellation. But nothing happened when I clicked to follow the link. I messaged both the hotel and customer service, and both stated the hotel refused to allow cancellation. I wasted a lot of time trying to get someone to acknowledge the email. I didn’t want to lose $250 on a single night (just a bunk room, no AC, no private bath) so we went. As expected, sharing a bathroom with strangers is awkward. The shower doors are translucent so you are on display.

A bit disappointing

location was good. The baggage storage was good.

The beds had a squeak. The private bathroom was across the hallway next to the ladies toilet, not very private. There was no private toilet, we had to use the guest toilets.There was no hint on Booking.com that the bathroom was not attached to the room and nowhere did it say a shared toilet. I have always found that a private bathroom had a toilet. The wifi was bad until the owner told us to use a different network and this was patchy at best.

Good location but sparse rooms and a lack of privacy

The hostel was clean and well organised. The location is excellent, right in the middle of Fussen old town, so when you walk outside there are shops and cafes all around.

My room was fairly spacious but very sparse with only the bunk bed, a chair and some drawers in the room. It got quite warm. The small toilet and showers were the other side of the reception desk, so you had to pass reception on your way to showering which was strange. The showers consisted of 3 cubicles in a line and a communal area for drying, so there was no privacy at all. At 100 euros per night, it was poor value but I suppose it is cheaper outside of tourist season.

The location is amazing, literally in the middle of the Altstadt.

They close the kitchen for lunchtime and the evenings. It would be understandable, except for the frige. The fact, that I couldn't access my food at any time, is just unacceptable. I also do not understand why they shut off showers for the night.

Passable

For a "hostel" style accommodation, the cleanliness is better than we expected. There is daily deep cleaning of the common areas and toilets. Location is very central and walking distance to train station.

There is a strict curfew on the common shower which, although is displayed at the shower cubicle, was not communicated to us before the stay or at check-in. The shower water supply is automatically cutoff at the designated time with no warning. My partner had to wipe off her shampoo after the water supply got cut halfway. We have no problem with the curfew, but it could better communicated so we can plan our shower time. The default welcome and check-in message sent via email still describes the previous shower booking system instead of the new curfew system.

Great location; beautiful hike to Neuschwanstein and Schwansee. Close to restaurants, city center and train station. linnen are provided. Facilities were very clean!

Room was quite hot, opening windows was very noisy. The kitchen was always closed (even during opening times). Only 1 toilet/gender for a whole floor. The receptionist did not speak English very well, he was unable to provide information about hikes to the castle.

Nice place to stay, perhaps bring earplugs

All the staff were very friendly and helpful. The kitchen area was bigger and had more supplies than we expected. The balacony space was really nice. The hotel was located in the city center.

The room was very small. With 3 people, we have very little space for our luggage. The bigger annoyance was due to it being in the city center and it being extra hot, throughout the night, we alternated between having the window open to let in cooler air and needing to close it because of the noise.
