House LA Neuschwanstein Blick - Budget City Hotel

Tea and coffee making facilities were made available. We had access to the dining area which had a toaster and a kettle, cutlery and crockery was basic. Oggy gave us the bus passes and some suggestions for restaurants.

They accommodated our late booking and check in, super friendly and great position

Not a lot, was great all around!

I enjoyed my stay, the family of the owners are nice, the room is not very big but is clean, the bed is fine and there's bathroom in the room which is great and important for me. I asked for one more night and went to another place, it was a basement but the room was very big, couple bed and had TV.

We came to Füssen for 3 days and 2 nights to enjoy nature, mountains, lakes and castles. The hotel is very cozy, located in a large private house, about 1 km from the railway station and a 10-minute leisurely walk to the main road leading to the castles. Location is in a quiet residential area, clean surroundings, no entertainment to disturb our relaxing vibe. You need to walk 5 minutes to the entertainment. Our room was located on the 0 floor and had its own bathroom. The room was clean and tidy. Fresh towels were available. The room has two small windows. The bed is located in the middle, there were chests of drawers with lamps on both sides - very convenient, since I like to read before going to bed and did not want to disturb my mother. Also in the room were 2 small mirrors above the chests of drawers and a larger one on the wall, two chairs and a table. We arrived a little later than the scheduled time (at 22:30). I should note that the administrator called us at about 20.00, asked if everything was fine, and clarified when we would arrive. I told him that because of the delayed train we would arrive a little later. He said that no problem, the hotel will have an employee who will help us settle down. And so it happened, everything was foreseen. As a bonus, the hotel has a kitchenette on the ground floor where you can make yourself tea, coffee, cocoa, cappuccino (free of charge). Also, which is convenient, the hotel has lockers with a lock (free of charge). We used them on the last day, as we had planned a trip to the castle itself and knew that they were not allowed inside with backpacks. Despite the fact that we had already cheked out the rooms, we were allowed to leave our things in the locker and return for them later. The staff are very kind and good. We enjoyed our stay. We felt almost at home. As soon as you step on the doorstep of the hotel, there are mountains around you, fresh air. We communicated with employees in English.

LA Neuschwanstein Blick was very comfortable, well run and the staff were terrific. Very helpful with everything! It's an old building which has been well renovated, and it's much more than a hostel. We had a view of the famous castle from our balcony. Overall, a great base to visit Füssen, highly recommended. It's very well located, not in the old town but close to everything, including the station and bus stop which is crucial for getting to Neuschwanstein.

The wifi was generally good but dropped out at times. Water pressure in the shower was weak, but it was hot and you did get an adequate shower. The door locks on our room were noisy. But these are minor issues and did not impact on our comfort and enjoyment.

Place has everything you need to stay in Fussen at ax reasonable price. Beds are comfortable and room is clean with a private bathroom. There is also a small shared eating area where you can get coffee and tea.

Wifi did not reach our room.

The girl in the reception was very helpful with a bottle cap that fell and obstructed the sink

When we arrived, there was a man in the reception, but he didn't show up for more than five minutes.

We had to pay an extra fee of 5euros per person at the check-in which was unexpected since booking.com states that fees are included! Room was stuffed and was uncomfortable cause of an extra unneeded bunk bed that took all the free space. Bathroom ventilation was extremely loud and kept on going for so long after turning off the lights. Pro tip: do not go pee at night or you may not sleep again lol Walls do not have sound insulation so you can hear everything from near rooms

Facilities are very basic

The owner was very kind. She accepted late arrival and late departure, I would give 10 points for that.

Parking is additionally paid to the price of the stay, approximately €5/day. Watch out for it. There are plenty of free parking spaces nearby.
