Charming Historical hotel but adjust your expectation on the shower

Honestly this might be the best hotel in this region so close to the main attraction, which justifies the price. I love how much history this hotel has and you really feel you live in the old days. The breakfast was a steal, so delicious and good value. We upgraded our room to one of the biggest rooms there, and it feels spatial.

The shower, the bath tub is so small and the shower head was pointing weirdly, so it is easy to splash water everywhere. The shower facilities definitely took me some time to figure out.

A Perfect Winter Getaway (Puppy Included!)

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Hirsch. The hotel is full of charm, and the staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. We stayed with our 5-month-old puppy and felt genuinely welcomed - he even had his own blanket, bowl, and treat waiting in the room, which was such a thoughtful touch. The room was cozy and warm, perfect for winter, and the shower deserves a special mention: easily a 10/10 and hands down the best rainfall shower we’ve experienced. Waking up to a view of the castle was the cherry on top. Breakfast was delicious with a great variety, served in a charming and inviting breakfast room. All in all, Hotel Hirsch is a fantastic place for a winter getaway, and we will definitely be back.

Great hotel in city centre.

Very nice and beautiful decoration! They gave us a card to use on bus tickets, castle ticket. If knew in advance I wouldn’t have booked them and paid. Maybe they should message the clients. It has a car park which is very convenient.

Great location within the town, and a 5 minute drive away from Nuschwanstein Castle. Would absolutely stay again to visit the town. Very walkeable and the room was perfect. Comfy beds with multiple pillows. Excellent breakfast.

The location and parking was ideal. It took no effort.

The hotel is really dated. The room layout was horrible. Bumped the bed because no decent walking path was possible while the room was enormous. Also, the room wasn’t prepared (no towels or toilet paper).

The facilities of this hotel are very nice. The building looks great and has been renovated. The room was cozy and comfortable. The location of this property is also very convenient, less than 10 minutes on foot from the train station.

Breakfast is served until 10:00 AM. It would have been great if it had been available until 11:00 AM.

Breakfast was great with good choices. Location was great. A Twin bed room was given while I booked for Double bed room, they quickly rectified the mistake by upgraded us to a Double bed room in new wing, but then the big difference in terms of size, facilities between the originally booked room and upgraded room is very obvious.

Beautiful and traditional furnishings. Felt like a chapter out of ‘Heidi.’ Staff was very friendly, room was big and comfy and breakfast was delicious with lots of choices.

No coffee maker in room but we’re able to go down to restaurant every morning to get a thermos if we had breakfast included.

Lovely stay in Fussen

We had a large family room to accomodate the four of us. A good amount of space for Europe. The staff was exceptionally welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Everything was very clean. Great location as the hotel is just a crosswalk across from the Old Town. Parking was available on site but second night it was full and we had to park in a garage nearby (but with discount). Breakfast was an ample spread of hot and cold offerings...plenty to start the day off right.

No air conditioning but even in June the night alpine air was cool. One washer and one dryer available for guest use.

Beautiful, charming and centrally located andhotel

Enjoyed the overall facility with its Art Nouveau style and traditional Bavarian atmosphere. Parking was convenient. There was a terrace on our floor to drink wine and relax after visiting castle sites and exploring the city. Clean, comfortable, and delicious buffet breakfast. Exceeded my expectations. Market was across the street to grab juices and fruit for the day.
