Hotel & Restaurant Ludwigs

The hotel was situated in the middle of the main square/street close to everything. Room was nice and breakfast was good. The restaurant was excellent, best place in town. The location was convenient close to the castle and train station, where you catch the bus to Neuschwanstein. I highly recommend staying here.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. AC was working well. Friendly staff. Buffet breakfast was amazing. Location perfect. Cons: very little luggage storage. Used an IT closet. No elevators so a bit of a challenge being on the top floor with large suitcases and elderly parents. Would stay here again

This place is very nice looking. Just very tiny rooms and minimal amenities unless you want to pay for breakfast or dinner. On the other hand, the location is fantastic. Close to the bus station for travel to other cities and close to the Nesuchwanstein castle bus stop. Shopping, food, and cute walkable streets are right outside your door.

Location was great, right on the Main Street. Parking at the back, fairly easy to find. Room was the smallest hotel room I have even been in, but it was clean and cute. No elevator, only one old fashioned key. There is a restaurant downstairs, on the Main Street and food was great. Service was amazing, we had an older gentleman as our server and he was superb. They also provide blankets for sitting on the patio. Would definitely recommend. We did not have breakfast as we were rushing for castle tour, but I grabbed a coffee and breakfast seemed fine from what I could see. There is a parking charge, but can’t remember the cost.
