Given that this is not a hotel, but a Jugendherberge, all conditions are provided accordingly (So, it is okay to make the bed yourself and take out the rubbish) Fresh bedding, delicious breakfast, good staff, location near the train station

Clean hostel and confy bed but a lot of noise from groups at night.

Hostel is clean and the staff is very pro and helpful. Great breakfast also and clean shared spaces and rooms :)

Unfortunately during my stay 2 things made it a bad one at the hostel. The first one is that after 10 PM the groups and noice keep going, there was an altercation regarding this because people wanted to sleep. This lead to a man entering hitting doors and acting violently. The 2nd thing is that I find unsettling to not give a key to the people in my room, I couldnt sleep with a lockless door and a violent man in the hallway. I had to call the police after looking for a number of the hostel without success.

Marvellous stay

The hostel is located near the train station, therefore we could arrive there fast and conveniently. From the very beginning we were treated very nicely and our needs were fully fulfilled. Christoph was exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facility has a lot to offer (you can spend your leisure time more or less actively) - you can choose from table tennis, movies, board games, football/basketball - and all of that is free of charge. Another advantage is the possibility to wash and dry your clothes, just for a small fee. The breakfast was more varied than we expected. In addition, complimentary water, tea and juices are available all day (just for the coffee you have to pay 1€). Overall, it was a really good value for money. We usually do not stay in hostels or similar facilities, but we were truly satisfied with this choice.

It was a bit problematic for us to arrive within the operating times of reception. We would add at least one hot meal to the breakfast buffet (sausages/scrambled eggs or whatever) and a small simple kitchen for the guests so that they can prepare their own meals (equipped with a fridge, sink, microwave - this would be enough in our opinion). Our stay was really lovely, those are just suggestions to satisfy the future guests even more :)

The staff requires us to buy the membership stamp because they said only members can stay in the hostel, which costs €3/person! I thought we only need to pay around €82 according to the price shown on Bookings, but eventually we paid around €93. There’s some invisible charges that will occur when you check in.

There is free parking area in front of the building.

The hostel requires a membership that is not indicated on booking. If you do not have that membership, you need to pay 3.5 Euros per night per person. You have to take bed sheets from reception and prepare your bed yourself. The hostel was very noisy.

Very good experience overall!!

We had the private room with bathroom. There are only 2 available at the hostel. First of all, this is a hostel, and should be rated as one: everything is clean and tidy, but I would only recommend it to regular and experienced travelers who want to save money. They give you clean sheets (of course, no towels) and there's a kitchen area where you can get some water, coffee or tea anytime you want. Parking is limited, but if full, you can park outside. The hostel is close to the city center. The staff is amazing, friendly and always available for anything you need :)

The beds, of course, aren't the most comfortable ones, but considering it's a hostel, they are not that bad. The original price was €76 for the room, but there's a city tax and of course the Hostels International compulsory membership that rised the final price to €84. If you're going to the Neuschwanstein castle and you want to book your visit on the road 1 day before, be aware that the city tax includes a discount for the castle, maybe you can spare a couple of Euros (unlike me).

Clean facilities and room, good breakfast, relatively close to the center The rooms were not too noise cancelling but the facilities were mostly quiet during the night The bed was comfortable and each bunk bed had its own light

I paid for a room with a private bathroom but no towels were provided and there was no soap in the bathroom (not even for hand washing) We had to make the beds ourselves, and needed to leave the sheets in the basement before check out

Our receptionist barely spoke english... Expect to pay more than it's mentioned in you reservation! We had to pay 3,5€pp for a ticket (we didn't understand why, apparentely it's related with reservation in Germany. Btw, we've never seen this before). Then, they charged us an additional 2,20€pp, to have discounts in Füssen attractions. Well, in the end, we paid more 11€ than we were expecting, not mentioning that we had to pay 2€ for each bath towel, that was not included in the reservation... The bathroom was really tiny and we didn't have ammenities. In Booking platform, they say that they have food and beverage machines, which they don't. Ckeck out is early, at 9.30H When we arrived the room was cold, at least we could warm it up, really slowly......... The breakfast was good!

The mechanism for closing doors was so demanding that my fiancee had real troubles with opening the toilet door:) and after 7.00 noise of (over)automatically closed doors was unpleasant.

Winziges Zimmer :( Für Personen mit Einschränkungen nicht geeignet.

Bei der Durchreise nach Südtirol hatten wir ein Zimmer für eine Nacht in Füssen gebucht. Das Zimmer hatte ein Etagenbett, daher musste eine Person nach oben klettern. Aber das wussten wir bei der Buchung. Uns ging es lediglich nur um eine Übernachtung bei der Durchreise nach Südtirol. Die Größe des Zimmers war ca.5 qm, wer Platzangst hat oder etwas korpulent ist, bekommt Probleme. Als weitere Ausstattung gab es einen winzigen Kleiderschrank, einen kleinen Tisch und zwei Stühlen. Das Bad war aber super, komplett neu gemacht. Hatte eine akzeptable Größe mit kleinem Waschbecken, neuen Armaturen, einer neuen Duschkabine und komplett neu gefliest. Wir waren positiv überrascht. Das Bett mußte man selber beziehen und nachher wieder abziehen. Das Bettzeug war neuwertig, sauber und gebügelt. Handtücher muss man selber mitbringen. Das Frühstück war ok, es gab Wurst und Käse Aufschnitt, Gurke, Tomate, Yogurth. Etliche Sorten von Brot und Brötchen. Die Vollwertbrötchen mit Saat waren sehr lecker! Kaffee und Tee aus dem Automaten. Keine Eier oder Eierspeisen. Säfte gab es auch. Für eine Jugendherberge war das Frühstück gut.

Sehr, sehr kleines Zimmerchen! Neues Bad mit WC im Zimmer. Für eine Nacht OK.
