Once in a Lifetime Hotel

The views (especially from spa), location, mattress, room, tranquillity and food.

1) No one told us to prebook massages for a cost so when we went to book a massage we were told there was no option of a massage. There are only a maximum of 20 guests so a massage for every guest is a reasonable expectation when the hotel calls itself a wellness retreat. This is what did not meet my expectation as I received an email from the hotel the day of our stay saying "Get ready to be pampered". 2) The barking dog in the room next to ours. 3) The road is only wide enough for 1 car so you can only travel up to the hotel from 15 mins past every hour to 40 mins to every hour and only travel down from every hour until 10 mins past the hour ie 2pm until 2.10pm.

Unexpectedly elegant hotel in superb natural surroundings

It is just amazing to have a good hotel set on a high rock, with fantastic views all round. The hotel has been beautifully and elegantly designed, with an unusual mix of natural and even humoristic elements. The atmosphere is very pleasant. The hotel owner will park your car. The breakfast buffet is great. The restaurant has won lots of prizes. An excellent small spa area is available, but because there simply is not enough space on the rock there is no pool.

Nothing could be better, really, but people should know that the drive up to the hotel is very steep, with some nasty curves. But I bet that if you don't feel good about driving up, the owner will come and get you.

Een sprookje op 1.200 meter hoogte! Wat een betoverende plek! Het hotel is prachtig, met oog voor detail en een warme sfeer. We hebben genoten van een heerlijke lunch en een fantastisch diner – echte verwennerij. De gastvrijheid was optimaal: vriendelijk, attent en oprecht hartelijk. Een verblijf om nooit te vergeten. We komen heel graag terug!

Enttäuschung

Lage des Hotels.

Unfreundliche, überhebliche Mitgäste. Nach Beschwerde beim Personal keine Änderung. (Bitte um einen anderen Tisch - wurde komplett ignoriert!!) Zudem wurde ich beim Frühstückstisch nicht bedient- musste Kaffee selber aus der Küche holen. Die Bedienung hat mich wohl absichtlich "übersehen". Wellnessbereich total unprofessionell geführt, niemand wusste Bescheid. Im Badezimmer lagen schwarze Haare auf dem Boden u es befanden sich Spinnweben an der Decke. Abfalleimer wurde nicht geleert, obwohl übervoll. Fazit: Komplette Enttäuschung - nie wieder BoutiqueHotel Blaue Burg.

Sehr gutes Personal. Sehr aufmerksam, sehr freundlich Das Essen war umwerfend. Vom Frühstück über Kuchen zum Abendmenü war alles außergewöhnlich köstlich Die Einrichtung ist gemütlich und lässt keine Wünsche offen Die Lage auf dem Berg ist super. Blicke zur Zugspitze, Schloss Neuschwanstein und in die norddeutsche Ebene!

Wir hatten einen herrlichen Aufenthalt in sensationeller Lage. Alle waren ausgesprochen freundlich und auch unser Hund war überall (außer im Sternerestaurant und Wellnessbereich) willkommen. Selbst beim Abendessen UND Frühstück konnte unsere Hündin dabei sein, was wirklich außergewöhnlich ist! Das Zimmer war super schön und hatte einen traumhaft schönen Ausblick. Auch das Frühstück erfüllte wirklich jeden Wunsch und beim Abendessen wurden wir durch die kreative Küche auch als Vegetarier sehr glücklich gemacht.

Der einzige Wehrmutstropfen war der vorübergehende Warmwasserausfall. Morgentliches Duschen war an diesem Tag nicht möglich und auch die freistehende Badewanne mit Bergblick konnte nicht genutzt werden. Leider wurde dies ohne große Entschuldigung von der zuständigen Hotelmitarbeiterin lediglich „weggelächelt“. Schade!

Würden dort nicht mehr übernachten. Ist das Geld leider nicht wert. Auch an Freundlichkeit hat es gefehlt.

Die traumhafte Aussicht. Das leckere Essen (sowohl Abendessen wie auch Frühstück).

Das wir am ersten Tag den Wellnessbereich nicht mehr nutzen konnten, obwohl es noch laut Zeitangabe geöffnet sein müsste. Das wir nur zu einem bestimmten Zeitfenster essen konnten und auch zu einem Zeitpunkt fertig sein mussten. Ansonsten deckt das Personal irgendwann zum Frühstück um einen ein. Auch an der Bar muss man irgendwann seinen Drink genommen haben, sonst erhält man zum Gehen unaufgefordert die Rechnung. Am nächste Tag wurden wir wieder im Wellnessbereich lang vor Schließung darauf aufmerksam gemacht, dass diese bald schließt. Die Heusauna war komplett kalt und hat garnicht funktioniert. Für das, das dieses Hotel 170 € gekostet hat ( pro Person und Nacht) hat man sich permanent unter Zeitdruck gesetzt gefühlt. Ist keine Erholung.

Tophotel an einzigartiger Lage.

Die Lage ist einzigartig mit einer überwältigenden Aussicht über das ganze Tal. Die geräumigen Zimmer sind überaus geschmackvoll mit vielen passenden Details ausgestattet. Das Essen ist in jeder Hinsicht top, die Qualität und auch die Optik der Teller. Das Frühstück ist sehr reichhaltig mit vielen frischen Früchten, Brotsorten und Eierspeisen. Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt sehr genossen und würden diese Hotel jederzeit wieder buchen

Die Anfahrt zum Hotel ist etwas abenteuerlich vor allem im Winter wenn die schmale Strasse mit Schnee und Eis bedeckt ist.
