Wonderful wellness hotel in Füssen

The location was lovely, the spa and wellness area was relaxing, the breakfast was nutritious and filling and the restaurant was also fantastic. The employees were very friendly as well. The room was spacious and comfortable. I especially enjoyed the balcony and view.

I didn’t like the shower. The water pressure was not high enough and the temperature changed quite a bit. However, it was nothing that dampened my stay. I would absolutely stay here again!

The hotel feels very outdated: - carpet on the floors - very bright lid bar area and hallways - very long and ugly corridors - pool area doesn’t resemble the pictures at all! - restaurant is completely different then on the pictures. We booked the hotel for the restaurant because it looked nice. It dit not, it is a very brightly lid and not fancy looking, massive dining hall. - Pillows are the very worst I ever ever had - staff leaving every service door open - grumpy staff at omelet station

For a four stars facility, I expected a better service in terms of availability of bell boys to help with the suitcases, availability of allocated parking per room number. A lot of info or menus did not have any language other than German which made it a little bit hard sometimes for us to understand.

The restaurant in the evening was confusing. Only option a 39 euro set meal with 4 courses on German menu. English version had individual course prices but still charged set meal.

Beautiful location, great facilities, and excellent customer service.

This hotel is pristine clean, the facilities wonderful, and a lovely location right on the side of the lake. However, what makes the hotel even more wonderful is the staff; they were incredibly friendly and accommodating, delivering an excellent customer service throughout our stay. I think this is more appreciated as we were English and spoke hardly any German, and it was a predominantly German hotel (as we expected). This was the first stop on our Honeymoon, and they were wonderful on upgrading our room so that it had views of both the mountains and the lake, adding rose petals on the bed, they decorated the table formally for our first dinner, and as a farewell they gave us a bottle of sparkling wine. I particular want to identify two members of staff who were particularly lovely ; Lara who was on reception and greeted us to the hotel was very nice and made us feel very welcome. And Sören, who we believe was the restaurant manager, and who looked after us on both evening meals, and whose customer service was outstanding, ensuring we were comfortable the entire time.

There really is very very little that we didn't like, but the only thing that would have been helpful is some English written guidance, in the room and in the sauna. We were very conscious that there is certain sauna etiquette and we didn't want to cause any offence. However, Google Translate was our friend and we managed anyway, so it didn't impact our stay.

A waste of time and money that I rather tend to forget as soon as possible

The Spa is Ok and nice, we went early morning so not many people were there. The location of the hotel is nice as well.

The value for money is at an astronomic distance away from eachother. We had a tiny room, with a tiny bathroom, a shower where you had to do efforts to get wet. We stayed 1 night and paid 550 euros for a room in a corner that looked patched together with everything they could find. For that price the least I expect is a slight level of taste. We travelled with our 4 year old daughter, which we are used to as I spend many many many days of the year in hotels while travelling, and who sleeps with us in the big bed when we do travel-stay-overs for a night. However on the ridiculous price we had to pay on top for her while we all slept in the same bed. Thought we were on the planet Zonko for a night, I understand that the castle on the hill is a money-cow, but the pricing for this infrastructure and barely friendly staff, is total overkill. The 2 nights before, we slept in a castle in Germany, with magnificent rooms, piano music on every floor, incredibly good food, spacious rooms and superfriendly staff and it costed us less than half of the Hotel Sommer. So I can tell you that we were pretty much disappointed and that it is clear that money is the only thing which drives Hotel Sommer, been there done that, won't ever go again!

Great Place to Stay While Visiting Neuschwanstein Castle

Our party of four had both breakfast (twice) and dinner (twice) and all of agree they were quite good and met our expectations.

The first room we were given had a strong odor, like the smell of sewage. Likely coming from the bathtub but we weren't certain. The staff tried to correct the situation but weren't successful. When told they immediately gave us another similar room across the hall. It was fine.

Pleasant rooms and property but lacking in good customer service.

The hotel location [if you have a car] is lovely. Otherwise the bus service is limited and one has to walk to town. You can get a nice view of the castles and its right next to the lake, so nice walks. The spa therapist was good. Room was spacious.

Spa reception staff are harassed, not attentive to foreign guests and not very welcoming. At check in, no one offered to help me with luggage or take the suitcases to the room. For a hotel claiming to be of a certain standard, this is unheard of everywhere else. The hotel should offer a shuttle service for guests to town, especially those who do not have a car as bus service is very limited

Nice relaxing stay in nice surroundings

Very friendly staff in both the hotel and restaurant. great for walking in the area around the lake, and easy access into Fussen walking. Overall a very pleasant stay

room could have been a little nicer view as we had a suite overlooking the back staff area. Took the boat trip around the lake which was OK, surprised smoking was aloud on board as had 4 people chain smoke their way over the 2 hours

Unser Aufenthalt war sehr angenehm, der Service ist wirklich sehr angenehm und ausgezeichnet. Alle waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen war sehr gut, tolles Buffet und tolles Abendessen.

Für die Anzahl der Gäste gibt es zu wenig Liegen. Schön wäre es, wenn direkt am Pool auch noch Liegen stehen würden
