Fantastic place to stay and we highly recommend it and would stay there again!

The photos are accurate and our sea view from inside our room, even while on the bed, as well as from our terrace were absolutely amazing! The breakfast was delicious and served in an area with fantastic sea views! It is located up a steep hill from Monterosso center but is serviced by a quick shuttle van (less then 5 minute drive) which is punctual and functions well. Be sure to pay attention to the drop off and pick up times once an hour and that there is a lunch and dinner break "hour" when there is no service. We also walked both up (steep) and down the quick short cut pointed out to us by staff. The gardens are beautiful with many relaxing sitting areas and views as well as pools with a view. All the staff is wonderful!

Located a little out of the busy town - meaning, private, quiet, scenic, and lots of easy parking, if you have a car. B &B Il Parco - is a solid 10. The rooms, gardens, and breakfast were all outstanding. If you don’t have a car, there is a shuttle that goes fairly often, like hourly. If you have a car, you’re golden. Staff were excellent.

My sister and friend stayed at this B and B while traveling in Cinque Terre. What a gorgeous property!! This little gem is located just a 5 minute walk into town! Very quiet with a lovely view of the water! Perfectly maintained with a tasty breakfast, beautiful pool and little patios! The owner is very kind as well! I highly recommend and would 1000% come back if I get the chance!! It was a such a treat to stay here!

This is a REAL FIND in Cinque Terre. Don’t miss it!

Hands down the best breakfast ever…in the most gorgeous space! A glass room opens on all sides to the amazing view of the Mediterranean! This entire property is so stunning, and up and away from the crowds and noise of Monterosso. The gardens, sun deck, and pool and views from every room…just spectacular. Thoughtful renovations were everywhere, with modern touches but a feeling of warmth and comfort. Loved the outdoor nooks and seating outside each room and our hosts were wonderful. Highly highly recommend!

Excellent location and views and very good breakfast. Offered pancakes or scrambled eggs at a breakfast location overlooking the most amazing views. Laundry done by them at a charge of €20. They folded the clothes and kept them on the bed in the room. Also beds were made and rooms cleaned daily. Excellent shuttle service to bring you up to the hotel. Walk down was easy using the short cut steps. Will definitely return.

Lovely stay in Monterosso

We liked the room, breakfast was delicious & the cute little outdoor pool was great- perfect way to relax with my son after doing some hiking! Many thanks to the staff for assisting us with our luggage after we checked out - they brought it down in the shuttle before our late afternoon train. We were given very clear directions on how to find the B&B and how to access our room before we arrived.

It is quite the hike up to the lodging, but they are very transparent about this up front - there is a shuttle up & down during certain hours of the day. Not easy to get a taxi up to the B & B if you are between shuttles.

The address listed on BOOKING.COM was incorrect. However if you type in “B&B Il Parco” on google maps it IS correct. (We are frustrated with booking.com not the actual property). We ended up trying to walk bc the address on booking.com was a 6 min walk when it was actually a 15 min walk up hill but took us 45 min because the address was wrong. Thankfully the host was so helpful and helped us find it! In retrospect we should have waited for their personal shuttle but didn’t know how it worked. Would recommend booking.com update to the correct address. (Località Mesco, 6, 19016 Monterosso al Mare SP, Italy).

Superb and charming

Loved the quieter location and the choice of taxi transfer at set time or a lovely walk down-up the hill. The space around our bedroom was so relaxing to chill out in. Absolutely lovely! We can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely two-night stay at B&B Il Parco. We had originally planned to stay in the old town of Monteroso, but at the last minute, my mother decided to join our family so we needed more space. Booking.com made it easy to find this wonderful bed-and-breakfast at the last minute, and after over two weeks in Italy, it ended up being my children’s favorite spot. Located on a hill above town, we definitely appreciated the free shuttle. My husband easily walked to and from town, but my mother and four-year-old could not have done it quite so well. The views, however, are astounding. The entire location is peaceful, relaxing and gorgeous. The kids loved the small swimming pool, which overlooks the hills and ocean below. Everyone loved the peaceful gardens and wonderful breakfast. (One of my sons still talks about the made-to-order pancakes.) The rooms were clean and well-appointed, with more outstanding views from the patios and balconies. Our only regret was that we did not have more time to spend here.

Just a word of caution to the very young or older travelers: it’s a bit of a hike to town, so note the exact shuttle times. Marta and her lovely family did offer to pick us up from the train station, and they drove us to town for our train out. Just use the shuttle or taxis if you can’t walk up hills. :)

Very disappointing and customer service doesn’t exist

The property is beautiful, just like the pictures.

The service was nonexistent. We were completely surprised that there is no service offered at this hotel. There is a small desk in the kitchen area where Marta, the owner, finds you to check in and collect your money. She is sort of available from eight until 6 PM. There is no place to ask questions or get extra towels or toilet paper, you are on your own. We have been traveling for two weeks and have stayed in multiple hotels and never had this type of experience. There is a mini bar in the room and she charges for water. It is odd because the premises are beautiful, but you can’t get a coffee and enjoy it outside, or a glass of water. There’s no one around to ask questions and the only way we got extra toilet paper was to use WhatsApp to message Marta. Marta and her family run the hotel. When we arrived for breakfast, it was offered between 8 and 10 AM, most of the food was gone around 9:30, when we arrived. It was a buffet. We had to ask her to put out more food that she clearly was portioning items and you had to ask for coffee, eggs, and if you weren’t there before 9 AM, a lot of the items weren’t replenished. It wasn’t comfortable getting up and asking for more coffee or food. Don’t advertise a buffet if you don’t set it up in a way that welcomes people to get multiple items and multiple times. We are on vacation so the lack of Wi-Fi didn’t bother us too much but we did have to use our hotspot because the Wi-Fi doesn’t work at the hotel. This is another thing that Marta should make explicitly clear when advertising this hotel. I had to message Marta on WhatsApp to ask if room cleaning was available, as our room wasn’t clean, and she got into an argument with me stating that my room was cleaned. I wasn’t upset since it doesn’t have to be cleaned every day, but I did tell her, that we just wanted fresh towels and toilet paper as a family of four.

Friendly, relaxing and stunning setting, we would definitely like to go back.

Shuttle was always on time. The view was amazing, from our bedroom and terrace we could see the ocean and the mountains. We were able to relax and unwind. The gardens were amazing.

A little more storage room, a small set of drawers for folded items would be ideal.

A gem of a place.

The host Marta provided exceptional service. Nothing was too much and provided touches such as remembering coffee orders ate breakfast. Very friendly staff. The B&B itself was delightful, beautifully kept gardens and rooms were lovely. The free shuttle service was very good.

Amazing little heaven with an incredible view very close to Monterosso

It was amazing, even better than what we expected from the pictures on Booking. Marta was so lovely and welcoming, she sent us all the instructions and useful information before our arrival. Marta showed us a shortcut to go to Monterosso and it was very close (10 min walk). The view was amazing, the garden beautiful, and the room was spacious and well decorated! We will definitely come back!

Beautiful stay, fabulous host and property,

Amazing host Marta, who stayed in touch about our arrival to the Monterosso train station given the strike. Shuttle is amazing to get to and from town. The garden is beautiful and the scent of jasmine heavenly. Room was cleaned whilst we were at breakfast, super slick. Marta even remembers how you like your coffee! Bliss would return.

-Room was small, tight for luggage -Bathroom was fine, but rock sink although looked cool, was not functional. Too small and the faucet extended too long. water was everywhere when in use. Very difficult and awkward to use. -Need another towel rack -Location is high up steep hill, shuttle running every hour, unless people load required more trips. - Not very convenient

A perfect getaway from the busy village. Breathtaking garden and view.

The hotel itself is like a quiet retreat tucked in on a hill away from the business of the small village. Nestled in a beautiful garden and surrounded by olive trees it was breathtaking to wake up to a view like this. The owner of the small hotel offered an amazing cappuccino at breakfast which also was served with an amazing view. The room felt cozy and the bed was so so comfortable. Would definitely recommend this.

Gorgeous and relaxing retreat with great views and wonderful hospitality!

B&B Il Parco is a beautiful retreat in the hills of Monterosso al Mare run by a lovely family. Our room was huge with several large windows showing views of the surrounding hillsides and the sea below. There was a also small balcony. The bedroom and bathroom were extremely clean and comfortable. The property has a resort feel --- there is a small swimming pool with lounge chairs and several other areas with chairs where guests can enjoy the views and the beautiful landscaping. Our first morning, we enjoyed a wonderful buffet breakfast prepared by the proprietor and her mother. We had a wide variety of options for breakfast foods, and everything was delicious. The owner (and her family) were extremely warm and friendly and made us feel very welcome. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit!

Guests should know: The hotel's location high up in the hills lends itself to the resort feel and offers incredible views. But getting to and from the site is not always convenient. The property had a shuttle service to pick us up from the "downtown" when we arrived and drop us off when we left. There were also shuttle runs to and from the property in the late afternoon and evening. The only issue is that you will have to either walk 15 minutes uphill (on a dark and winding road) or find a taxi if you return later at night after the shuttle service ends. It's not a huge problem but guests should be aware that they will need to plan their outings accordingly.
