We came for NYE and the stay was nice although we didn’t sleep well on the poor mattress.

Charming historic hotel in heart of Plovdiv’s Old Town

It was the BEST possible location— right in the heart of the charming old town & easy walking access to the many sites there but also just a 5-10 minute walk down the hill to the pedestrian street with access to ATM’s, shops, grocery store & restaurants. It exceeded my expectations; loved every moment in my lovely room w balcony w view of mural across the street & the nearby traditional houses

There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but important to know that it is definitely a location you would want to take a taxi to unless young & strong! The uneven cobblestone streets are not meant for rollie or heavy suitcases.

Lovely place. Highly recommend it.

It’s a beautiful palace. We got the top floor suites with a beautiful view. Great service and breakfast. Parking is on the street but very close. On a hill ok on the way down. We got a taxis to bring us back.

There isn’t any elevator to the 3 and 4 floors. So it was difficult with luggage and us being in our mid to late 60th.

Great location, strange attitude

Location is super. You can show the booking at the barrier (gate) and be allowed to drive into the Old Town area.

My questions and letters sent to the hotel via Booking.com were not answered. Though we’ve chosen 2 separate beds during the booking it is appeared to be one. For splitting it we’ve been asked to pay additionally.

Perfect location and spacious accomodation!

The location is absolutely perfect for exploring Plovdiv's old town. The area is gated off so you also get access to park your car. The property is actually massive - many floors as it's on the edge of a hill. The owners didn't reply to messages much but were very kind and polite in person.

The mattress was large but quite uncomfortable and noisy as it was quite an old spring mattress. It'll be great to have some electrical sockets/ extension leads around the bedside tables too

Superb

A creative selection of expensive materials and furniture in the room, but it worked out decent well. Room itself was huge, but warm since it was on the top floor. Thankfully a good AC system handled the warm Plovdiv summer days well. View over the city from the room was great. I was not to found of a bathroom with transparent door and windows all around (possible to use curtains)

A classy stay in a classy place.

A quirky, interesting hotel with unusual rooms. A very good breakfast and we were able to secure our motorcycle safely. You can walk to the main features of the town.
