The hotel is in a prime location in the centre of the old quarter. The hotel is old & built on and into an ancient Roman wall that once encircled the city. The owner, Boris, has lovingly restored the building & it exudes old-world charm. The rooms are large and very comfortable.

The hotel has been lovingly developed with great attention to presenting a delightful hotel reflecting traditional Bulgarian design. It is located in the centre of the old city with the main attractions within easy walking distance. The hotel is built on & into an original Roman wall.

Location is absolutely perfect. Breakfast was huge and nice enough. The suites are cute and the views of Plovdiv breathtaking, host took good care of us.
Somethings missed, but overall it’s not terrible. The beds were not comfortable, the bathroom could have been cleaner, the host was accommodating the bar prices were not consistent and not being able to pay by card was unusual.

It was the BEST possible location— right in the heart of the charming old town & easy walking access to the many sites there but also just a 5-10 minute walk down the hill to the pedestrian street with access to ATM’s, shops, grocery store & restaurants. It exceeded my expectations; loved every moment in my lovely room w balcony w view of mural across the street & the nearby traditional houses
There wasn’t anything I didn’t like but important to know that it is definitely a location you would want to take a taxi to unless young & strong! The uneven cobblestone streets are not meant for rollie or heavy suitcases.
