A fantastic stay in an amazing hotel in Plovdiv!

The property is beautiful and charming; located in great proximity to all of the attractions in Plovdiv. We really enjoyed the amazing breakfast while overlooking the Roman ruins. The bed was super comfortable, the hot water was instant and plentiful, and the hosts were very pleasant. We loved the vibe in Plovdiv, and would love to return. If we do, we would be sure to stay here again.

I didn't like that we could only stay for two nights (because that is how long our planned trip was. We would have loved to stay here much, much longer!

This is a great hotel for a stay in Plovdiv

Copied from my TripAdvisor review: We were very happy with our three-night stay at the Hotel Odeon. The location could not be better. It is right next to the Roman Forum, just round the corner from the City Hall (where the free walking tours start) and two minutes' walk from the Bishop's Basilica museum. The Old Town and Kapana districts are just ten minutes away. The hotel is at the end of a street that leads to the Old Town. The end part is closed to traffic by a barrier. We travelled by car and had requested car parking. When we reached the barrier we rang the hotel as instructed. The owner raised it, we took our luggage to the hotel and then drove back to the hotel's car parking spaces which were inside the barrier. The parking charge was 20 lev a day. Our room was spacious and the furniture and rugs were of good quality. There was plenty of wardrobe space with real coathangers. The lighting was good: there was no problem reading in bed. The bathroom was good. The shower had an unusual screen but it worked fine despite the gaps between the panels of the screen. The hotel was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was an adequate buffet. The breakfast room overlooks the Forum. We got to chat with some of the other guests which enhanced our stay. The owner spoke limited English but was pleasant and welcoming. We would be happy to go back.

The only minor downsides were that the safe did not work and the wifi signal was somewhat unstable. The mattress was somewhat firmer than I like but that is a matter of personal taste.

Perfect location, perfect room, perfect stay

Quaint family run hotel in Good location to centre of city and old town. Room was traditional but spacious and comfortable. Hotel evening meal was very good. Breakfasts were good for a 'Balkan breakfast - semi buffet style. Hotel arranged parking for rental car, which was appreciated as parking is at a premium.

The location, customer service, and hotel itself were absolutely outstanding, receiving a perfect 10/10 rating from me. I truly regret not having more time during my travels to extend my stay here. The view of the Odeon was simply breathtaking, and the warmth and kindness displayed by the staff touched my heart. Even with my early departure before breakfast hours, the staff went above and beyond by preparing a special takeaway sandwich just for me. My room was incredibly charming, surpassing all my expectations and more. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for an exceptional experience during their travels.

Best value for the money and we felt like home

Excellent location, nice and unique view to the Odeon. High quality furniture, very comfortable big bed and very stylish interior design of the apartment, and the whole hotel. The breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose and yummy, freshly made fruit jams, served by a very professional and friendly lady. She was awesome, was easy communication. We totally enjoyed our stay and the way she looked after us.
